Palestinians in Gaza are daring to hope the ceasefire will last. Israel's cabinet gave final approval to the plan early Saturday morning. The truce, which was agreed upon earlier this week, promises a pause in the 15-month war in Gaza and the release of dozens of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners. Ceasefires expected to begin early Sunday with the release of the first three hostages expected later in the day.

Pick his poison. 44-year-old Marion Bowman had three methods from which to choose. Firing squad, electric chair, or lethal injection. He chose lethal injection. Bowman's execution date is January 31st. He spent more than half his life on death row. Bowman was convicted of murder in the shooting of a friend whose burned body was found in the trunk of her burned-out car in 2001.
