The CDC is updating the number of measles cases after the death of a Texas child. Fox's Jessica Rosenthal reports. There are currently 164 people experiencing measles infections in nine states, including in Texas, where a child who was not vaccinated has died. Gaines County, Texas, where there's a strong Mennonite community, has seen many of the cases. In all, the CDC is reporting three outbreaks. They said all but 11 cases were associated with one of the three outbreaks.
Measles cases in the U.S. last year were nearly double the total compared to the year before, as rates in most states declined below the 95% vaccination threshold for kindergartners. Jessica Rosenthal, Fox News. Officials in New Mexico say Gene Hackman may have died nearly 10 days before his body was found. Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza says autopsies reveal the bodies of Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Irukawa tested negative for carbon monoxide and showed no signs of external trauma.
It should be noted there were no apparent signs of foul play. Revealing data from Hackman's pacemaker shows his last event was recorded on February 17th. According to the pathologist, I think that is a very good assumption that that was his last day of life. Items recovered from the home included two cell phones, thyroid medication, and a drug to treat high blood pressure. Officials say they're looking into cell phone records and reaching out to family members to confirm a timeline.

It's aimed at the Federal Election Commission and its bipartisan board of six commissioners. The suit claims the order gives the president too much power over the independent Federal Election Commission.
