The president shrugs off the signal leak. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. President Trump is sticking by his national security advisor, Mike Walz, and is downplaying the signal texting of attack plans to a group chat that included a journalist, White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt.
The president and our team have been incredibly transparent about what happened. No classified information was shared in this group chat. But the Democrats would have you believe we have a national security crisis on our hands when we absolutely do not. The president calls it the only glitch in two months of his administration and claims it was not a serious one. Walls told Fox News. A staffer wasn't responsible. And look, I take full responsibility. I built the I built the group.
The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee says the leak of plans to strike the Houthi terror group in Yemen was a serious mistake. Senator Mark Warner during a Capitol Hill hearing. I think this is one more example of the kind of sloppy, careless, incompetent behavior, particularly towards classified information, that this is not a one-off or a first-time error.
U.S. negotiators said Tuesday they brokered a deal to end fighting in the Black Sea in talks with Ukraine and Russia. In separate agreements, the U.S. will help both countries on different fronts. The U.S. and Ukraine agreed to continue to work toward the exchange of prisoners of war

This just in, South Korean officials say a helicopter engaged in fighting wildfires has crashed. The vice president's planned visit to Greenland this week is stirring anger and anxiety and testing already strained relations between the U.S. and European allies. Vice President J.D. Vance will join his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance, on a trip to Greenland on Friday. I'm going to visit some of our guardians in the Space Force on the northwest coast of Greenland.
Vance says other countries have threatened to use Greenland to threaten the U.S. and allies. Speaking for President Trump, we want to reinvigorate the security of the people of Greenland because we think it's important to protecting the security of the entire world. Leaders in Greenland and Denmark have called the planned visits by senior Trump administration officials very aggressive and uninvited.
