A wintry mess from the Midwest to the mid-Atlantic. I'm Pam Pusso, Fox News. Blizzard conditions are bringing misery to the Midwest. Fox Weather's Mike Seidel is in Bowling Green, Missouri. We've got blizzard warnings for much of the state of Kansas, all the way into Missouri, including Kansas City. We're going to have upwards of a foot of snow northwest of St. Louis. In St. Louis right now, it's snowing, looking for five to nine inches there.
75% of departures and arrivals at KCI have been canceled, and about 50% of flights in and out of St. Louis have also been canceled. This is going to last into Monday morning, and south of here, it's the ice storm warnings. Cape Girardeau getting ice. Power outages starting to show up, about 6,000 so far, but they'll add up. Ice from parts of Missouri into southern Illinois and parts of western Kentucky.
According to FlightAware, more than 900 flights are canceled. There was a vigil in New Orleans following the deadly truck rampage. A disturbing discovery at our southern border, a secret tunnel used to bring drugs into the country. The drug smuggling tunnel featured a rail system and an elevator, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. It's the third tunnel found in the area of San Luis Rio, Colorado.
