The South Korean Transportation Ministry said it sent the devices to the NTSB for closer examination after initially analyzing the boxes. Despite the finding, the ministry says they will do their utmost to determine the cause of the crash.
Fox News. Presidents in southern Nevada finding it pretty difficult to schedule an appointment with a primary care doctor. Fox 5's Adriana Shepard explains why. According to the American Association of Medical Colleges data, Nevada ranks 48th in the country for primary care doctors.
with close to 7,500 licensed physicians. Why? Dr. Mark Kahn, Dean of the Kirk Kerkorian Medical School, points to a number of reasons. One of them, federally funded residency positions. Once a doctor graduates from medical school, they have to complete a residency program.
But Dr. Kahn says there's only 400 spots in Nevada. We've had an explosion in population since the number of residency positions were frozen in 1996. So we've had the same number of training positions, yet our population has gone up more than tenfold. He adds it's not easy to bring doctors to the state because insurance rates are low and the licensure process is cumbersome.
And data from the American Association of Medical Colleges showing about 40% of students who graduate from medical schools in Nevada end up staying to practice in that state. I'm Paul Stevens. This is Fox News.
