House Speaker Mike Johnson's bid to keep control of the speakership could be in danger as some House Republicans withhold their support. Fox's Alexandria Hoff. What's unfolding right now exposes a bit of a gap in the American political system. If there is a lack of consensus on House Speaker making it so that the Electoral College can't be sorted out by January 20th, well, who leads the country? The Biden administration's gone and next in line is Speaker of the House, but there wouldn't be one. We're told the Israeli leader woke up from the anesthesia in good condition and that Netanyahu was transferred to a secure underground recovery unit.

Jeff Manasso, Fox News. An investigation is underway after a plane crash in South Korea killed 179 people. The plane was a Boeing 737-800 operating by Jeju Air, one of South Korea's budget airlines. Officials there now plan to inspect the entire fleet of the Boeing model at all of the country's airlines.
