The big budget bill passes the House. I'm Sue Gossman, Fox News. And the measure includes $4.5 trillion in tax breaks and $2 trillion in spending cuts. House Speaker Mike Johnson. We got it done. We have it done.

We had the requisite number of votes to move this process along and now passing the budget resolution in the House that will go to the Senate. This is the first important step in opening up the reconciliation process. The vote, 217 to 215, with all Democrats and Republican Thomas Massey opposed. Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Every single member is on record. House Democrats on the side of the American people and House Republicans on the side of their billionaire Republicans.

puppet masters and donors. The plan also raises the debt limit by $4 trillion. The framework bill heads back to committee before it's sent to the Senate to be reconciled. U.S. and Ukraine have reached an agreement that would allow U.S. access to minerals in Ukraine to help offset the money the U.S. has put out to help Ukraine battle Russia. Ukraine's President Vladimir Zelensky could come to Washington as soon as Friday to sign it.

Doge has lost several tech experts who are accusing the agency of misconduct. Fox's Rich Edson. 21 federal tech workers have quit rather than assist Doge. They say they each left senior private sector positions to make government systems more efficient. They accuse Doge of firing technical experts and mishandling sensitive data and say, quote, we will not use our skills as technologists to compromise core government systems.

jeopardize American sensitive data or dismantle critical public services. We will not lend our expertise to carry out our legitimate Doge's actions. Doge spokesperson Katie Miller responding on X saying, quote, these were fully remote workers who hung trans flags from their workplaces.

The Trump administration creating a registry for migrants in the U.S. illegally. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says the migrants will need to submit their personal information within the first 30 days of arriving in the U.S. Then they will be sent back to their home country. What this does is provide them an opportunity to come back.

Noam says if they don't register, they could face fines or prison time. President Trump offering a fast path to citizenship for wealthy immigrants. The Trump administration will start offering so-called gold cards in two weeks for $5 million. It's going to be a route to citizenship.

And wealthy people will be coming into our country by buying this card. They'll be wealthy and they'll be successful and they'll be spending a lot of money and paying a lot of taxes and employing a lot of people. The president describes the gold card as a green card plus. Commerce Secretary Howard Gluttony says the gold card would replace the EB-5 visa program that allows immigrants legal status by investing capital in the U.S. businesses.
