Dugan's arrest sparked protests outside the courthouse and the day before in Mexico, New Mexico rather, FBI agents arrested former Judge Joel Cano amid allegations that he harbored an illegal immigrant in his home believed to have ties to a Venezuelan gang.
Two hours from now, the Vatican will begin funeral services for Pope Francis as hundreds of dignitaries and thousands of the faithful look on. Among those attending, President Trump and former President Biden.
Security is extremely high as 200,000 people are expected in the Vatican to view the funeral, including 150 delegations, heads of state and royalty. Virginia Gilfray, who accused Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexually abusing her as an underage teen, died by suicide on her farm in Western Australia. This weekend, the U.S. and Iran are set for a third round of talks over Tehran's nuclear program. Negotiators will meet again in Oman. That's been a mediator in the talks. Where both sides will try to hammer out a deal to limit Iran's nuclear program in exchange for the U.S. lifting some of its crushing economic sanctions. President Trump saying this week from the White House that he thinks a deal can be made. We could have a very, very good decision.
And a lot of lives will be saved. The president also telling Time magazine Friday that he will very willingly lead the U.S. into attacking Iran's nuclear facility if the regime does not make a deal to stop its program.
Jeff Manasso, Fox News. This has President Trump calls for Ukraine and Russia to meet for very high-level talks, saying that they are very close to a deal after productive meetings. 22 earthquakes have rattled Alaska's Mount Spur in recent weeks, preventing researchers from pulling vital data from the volcano. Despite the setback in collecting information, scientists believe an eruption is less likely than previously thought.
The earthquake's making it impossible for them to check volcanic gas levels, but they say they will resume taking measurements once the Earth settles down. Mount Spur is just 80 miles from Anchorage, Alaska's largest city. Gary Baumgarten.
