Hurricane Milton churning across the Gulf of Mexico with Florida in its sights. Fox's Jill Nadeau with more. The impacts of the storm are expected to start hitting Florida's West Coast late Tuesday or early Wednesday with potentially life-threatening storm surge, damaging winds and torrential rain.
State Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie told reporters... We are preparing, and I have the state emergency response team preparing, for the largest evacuation that we have seen most likely since 2017, Hurricane Irma. Milton is expected to march across the peninsula and hit the east coast of the state later in the week. The National Hurricane Center warns some areas may get up to 12 inches of rain...

Former President Trump holding a rally in the battleground state of Wisconsin Sunday with 30 days to go until Election Day. The former president attacking his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, and calling out the federal response to help the victims of Hurricane Helene. This is the worst response to a storm or a catastrophe or a hurricane that we've ever seen, ever.
Meantime, a massive blast outside an airport in Pakistan, injuring at least eight people and destroying several vehicles. Police and the provincial government say that a tanker exploded outside the airport. A home ministry official telling the Associated Press that it was an attack on Chinese nationals. The California Department of Health says a third possible case of human bird flu has now been identified in the state.
Officials say the case was identified in a Central Valley individual who had contact with dairy cattle. Specimens are being sent to the CDC to undergo testing for confirmation. The state says there is no known link or contact between this and the first two cases that were reported last week.
which suggests only animal to human spread of the virus. All three individuals had contact with animals at three different farms. If confirmed, this latest case would bring the total number of people who contracted the disease in the U.S. this year to 17.
And the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has declined to step in and immediately decide issues connected to mail-in ballots in the state, with early voting already underway in the few weeks before the November 5th election. The court last night rejecting a request by voting rights and left-leaning groups to stop counties from throwing out mail-in ballots that lack a handwritten date or have an incorrect date on the return envelope, citing earlier rulings pointing to the risk of
