The storm hammering areas with dangerous snow and ice and stranding drivers and knocking out power. Roads still a mess here in Indianapolis. The system is still affecting the mid-Atlantic, D.C., Philly and other areas. Hundreds of thousands of customers still out of
power across multiple states, especially on that snow ice line. Fox's Robert Ray, PowerOutage.us shows more than 204,000 customers without power this morning from Missouri to Virginia. A 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck Tibet this morning, killing at least 95 people and injuring about 130 others while damaging thousands of buildings. The USGS says the epicenter of the quake was high in the Himalayan mountains.

Donald Trump Jr. travels to Greenland today, a Danish territory his father has expressed interest in buying. President Trump's son, Donald Trump Jr., is headed to Nuuk, Greenland, for what a source told Fox News Digital is a quick day-long trip to shoot some fun video content for podcasting. Trump Jr. himself said, as someone who's traveled across the globe as an outdoorsman, that he's excited to stop in Greenland for a bit of fun this week, as he put it. The source confirmed he has no meetings with political or government officials.
President-elect Trump has said the American purchase of Greenland is an absolute necessity for the sake of national security, but also freedom throughout the world. He mentioned it around the same time he said it was important for the U.S. to take back the Panama Canal. The prime minister of Greenland has said they are not for sale.
Jessica Rosenthal, Fox News. The Pentagon announces it has transferred 11 Yemeni detainees with suspected ties to al-Qaeda from the U.S. military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to Oman. This is the Biden administration tries to wind down operations at the notorious prison. A San Francisco Bay Area Police Department is under investigation, federal investigation for racist and sexist texts.
The Antioch Police Department will hire a consultant to update its policies, procedures, and training. Areas such as hiring and promotions practices, use of force, and non-discriminatory policing will be covered. The consultant must be approved by the Justice Department. The text messages swapped among members of the department between 2019 and 2022 surfaced in 2023. They contain derogatory, racist, homophobic, and sexually explicit language.
Some messages referred to women as Water Buffalo, while others shared photos of gorillas and used racial slurs. Tom Bergotti, Fox News.
