Washington state lawmakers are trying to create gun-free zones. A proposed law in Washington state would create gun-free zones at every public building, every fairground, every park and playground. But it seems like some legislators in Washington state senate say...
It is a very sweeping bill that curbs gun rights. They filed an amendment carving out an exception for lawful concealed carry permit holders. Its proponents argue concealed carry permit holders only account for maybe one twenty fifth of Washington state's homicide rate.
and that they should have this exemption. The amendment has some bipartisan support. Eben Brown, Fox News. The FBI confirms a U.S. Border Patrol agent was shot and killed yesterday in Vermont, south of the Canadian border. A New Jersey mega mall is defying blue laws dating back to the 17th century. The massive American dream mega mall is in Bergen County next to MetLife Stadium where the Giants and Jets play. The county's blue laws prohibit most retailers from opening on Sundays.
But Sundays are important days for malls. So for the past year, the American dream has remained open that day.
