The battle continues. I'm Paul Stevens, Fox News. Wildfires still raging in the Los Angeles area with the number of fire-related deaths on the rise. Fox's Jackie Ibanez. Fire crews are bracing for more strong winds as they race to contain deadly, out-of-control wildfires in Los Angeles.
At least four major fires are burning across the region. Officials warn gusting winds overnight and early next week could start new fires and threaten the progress that they've made. The death toll has now risen to at least 16. 13 others are missing. So far, officials say the fires have burned more than 30,000 acres of land.

They average only about two and a half inches or so per year. So this was nearly three times the amount of snow that they typically see in an average year. And this wasn't the light, fluffy stuff either. This is that heavy, wet, dense sort of snow too. It is super slushy. All of this is expected to freeze up.
Overnight, temperatures falling to 25 in places like Memphis and throughout much of the Volunteer State. The problem is it refreezes. That means that tomorrow morning's commute is going to be exceedingly slippery.

Ukraine's president saying his forces have captured two North Korean soldiers who were fighting alongside Russian forces. In a post on X, President Vladimir Zelensky saying the world needs to know the truth about what is happening. He said the two North Korean soldiers are wounded but are receiving medical care and have been taken to Kiev where they are communicating with the security service of Ukraine known as SBU. Zelensky said capturing the soldiers alive was not an easy task.
saying, quote, Russian forces and other North Korean military personnel usually execute their wounded to erase any evidence of North Korea's involvement in the war against Ukraine. The SBU said one soldier was carrying a Russian military ID card in the name of a man from a Russian town bordering Mongolia. During the interrogation, the soldier said he had been issued the document last fall.

Geiser, who was previously diagnosed with schizophrenia, was 12 years old in 2014 when she and a friend stabbed a classmate 19 times, all to please the fictional character Slender Man.
The friend, Anissa Weir, was granted a release in 2021 and ordered to wear a GPS monitor. The victim of the attack survived. Jeff Manasso, Fox News.
