A man is shot dead in Arizona in a case of mistaken identity. A man is dead after being shot by police in Glendale, Arizona, who mistook him for someone else as they responded to a domestic violence call Wednesday night. Police were looking for the boyfriend of a woman who said he threatened her with a gun before driving off.
They spotted the suspect's truck and they also noticed a man in a park near the vehicle. Police say they asked him to show his hands and fired at him when he made a move toward his waistband. The 46-year-old from Tucson died at the scene. No firearm was found on him. Police then found their suspect, the 23-year-old boyfriend in the vehicle, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
