Weighing his options. I'm Lisa Lucera, Fox News. President Trump met for about two hours with his national security team as he considers his options on Iran. A senior White House official says U.S. strikes against Iran are on the table. On his Truth Social, the president issued a warning to Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei, writing...

We know exactly where the so-called supreme leader is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there. We are not going to take him out, kill, at least not for now.

Adding in a separate post, quote, we now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran. Fox's Mike Emanuel at the White House. A once powerful senator has reported to prison to begin serving an 11-year bribery and corruption sentence. Former New Jersey Democratic Senator Bob Menendez has reported to Skullkill Prison in Pennsylvania, home to a medium and minimum security prison. Menendez, who was once the chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, was convicted of helping the country of Egypt get access to U.S. military aid and of helping some New Jersey business owners avoid criminal investigation, as well as doing other favors for them.

Investigators found hundreds of thousands of dollars of cash stuffed into clothing and shoes in his closet, as well as gold bars given to him by the business owners he helped.

Menendez has maintained his innocence and said he hopes President Trump cleans up the judicial system, calling it corrupt. Two of the business owners who went on trial with him were also convicted, as was his wife Nadine. Jessica Rosenthal, Fox News. The NAACP has announced it intends to sue Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company XAI over its use of gas-powered turbines at its data center in Memphis, arguing it's a violation of the Clean Air Act.

A new survey looks at what it takes to be considered middle class. If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere. It's pretty much true of New York, where to be considered middle class will take an income of $54,000 to $164,000. The website GoBankingRates calculated every state found Connecticut and New Jersey even more expensive, $64,000 to $194,000 to be middle class.

The definition is making two-thirds to double the median income. Almost as expensive in Hawaii, Maryland, and Massachusetts. You could live better in South Dakota, Montana, and Tennessee. More like $44,000 to $130,000. Or less in Louisiana and West Virginia. Fox's Therese Crowley. Police in Rome say an 80-year-old man drove a car partway down the city's landmark Spanish Steps before getting stuck. The driver tested negative for alcohol and was ticketed.

The car was later removed by firefighters using a crane. I'm Lisa Lacerda, Fox News.
