Federal prosecutors take their legal steps to seize cryptocurrency funds that were obtained fraudulently. Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Jeanine Pirro, announced the filing to take custody of more than $225 million in cryptocurrency.
It's alleged the funds came through a money laundering network that hid its sources among thousands of transactions. Pirro says the criminals used various ways to scam people. They're identifying their victims through social media, through deceitful job advertisements.

FDA regulators have approved a new drug to fight HIV. Lenacapavir by drug maker Gilead Sciences is the world's only twice-a-year shot to prevent HIV. Researchers say the drug nearly eliminated new infections in two large studies of people at high risk.
And it was found to be more effective than daily preventative pills that they can forget to take. No word yet on how much the drug is going to cost, but demand is expected as there are more than 30,000 new HIV infections in the U.S. each year.
