They may start talking peace for Ukraine. I'm Jack Callahan, Fox News. A source tells Fox, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, National Security Advisor Waltz, and Special Envoy Whitakoff will meet with senior Russian officials in Saudi Arabia soon to begin Ukraine peace negotiations.
State Department says Secretary Rubio has spoken by phone with his Russian counterpart, Foreign Minister Lavrov. Rubio has also just arrived in Tel Aviv, where celebrations today mark the release of three more hostages that had been taken by Hamas. Included in the group, 36-year-old American-Israeli Sagu Dekel Chen, 27-year-old Russian-Israeli Alexander Sasha Trufanov, and 46-year-old Argentine-born Yahir Kachin.
They were transferred from Gaza to a military base, to area hospitals. All the freed hostages appeared, at least, to be in better shape than the group released last week. This as the freed captives got mixed news. Yair Horn was greeted by his mother and a brother, but another brother was still being held by Hamas. Sasha Trufanov learned that his father was killed on October 7th.
But Dekel Chen had great news about a newborn baby. From Tel Aviv, Fox's Greg Palkut reports Israel has released 369 Palestinians from jail in exchange for the three hostages. A federal judge has extended temporarily a ban on the Department of Government Efficiencies' access to Treasury Department records.
Lawyers representing 19 state attorneys general argued politically appointed Doge employees are not authorized to access Americans' financial data, saying it violates Americans' privacy and leaves them susceptible to hackers. Pope Francis has been hospitalized, suffering from bronchitis, according to the Vatican, but his condition appears to be stable. As Fox's Stephanie Bennett reports from our London bureau. The Vatican said preliminary tests showed Pope Francis had a respiratory tract infection, was running a mild fever, and was in fair condition at Rome's Gemelli Hospital, where he is undergoing drug therapy. Now, the 88-year-old was diagnosed with bronchitis back on February 6th, but still continued his work consistently.

Federal prosecutors in New York filing a motion to drop corruption charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams, as Fox's Lauren Green reports. The move to drop the charges against New York City Mayor Eric Adams coming as the DOJ challenges the whole political fallout.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi saying the charges against Adams were politically motivated in the first place. Manhattan U.S. Attorney Danielle Sassoon resigned over the DOJ's decision to drop the charges, claiming that the dismissal was due to playing politics and engaging in an ethical quid pro quo.
Adams denies those claims, saying in a statement, I want to be crystal clear with New Yorkers, I never offered nor did anyone offer on my behalf any trade of my authority as your mayor for an end to my case. Never. Mayor Adams has claimed that former President Biden's administration targeted him for his criticism of its immigration policies.
