Controversy simmers in New York City, where Governor Kathy Hochul is considering removing Mayor Eric Adams, a fellow Democrat, over his cooperation with federal illegal immigration raids. The mayor denies that, but a federal judge will hold a hearing today. In court, DOJ attorneys will argue that the corruption case against the mayor should be scrapped, at least for now.
