The only person to blame for the shooting, the assassination in D.C. of two Israeli embassy staffers is the shooter himself. And we have information on him. But many people are pointing the finger at Hassan Piker, notably with the ADL appearing on CNN and making references to things that Hassan has said. I will say it again.
Hassan's allowed to have his opinion on this stuff. My understanding is that he's condemned this and I'm not playing these stupid games. Now, I know there's gonna be a lot of people who are, I don't know, I don't want to necessarily say on the right, but just not left, not woke, who are going to say, what do you think they do to us? How they blame us? Indeed. Indeed. I don't think lying or misrepresenting or falsely stating or having bad logic, I don't think that serves us. Now, to be fair,
I have talked about how I believe rights are for those who believe in rights, meaning if you defend free speech, I will defend your free speech. If you try to take my free speech from me, I won't defend you. Doesn't mean I disagree with free speech. It means I'm not going to lend any aid to people who are trying to destroy me. In this regard, the point I'm bringing up is and I want to show you some of these clips that people are pointing at and talk about what's going on, is that the logic here is what caused this attack?
escalation of rhetoric, cultural shifts for which there are snowflakes in an avalanche, snowballs rolling downhills. And you could say that in any political context, when someone takes some action, they're influenced or inspired by and then point the finger at somebody. I think Hassan Piker is largely a
You know, I guess he'd probably say he's opposed to violence, but I think he teeters on the edge. The left calls that stochastic terrorism when he says the way he discusses things about sooner or later, you've got to fight back or, you know, saying America deserved 9-11.
I want to make sure that what I'm addressing here is not blind defense of some online streamer, but the logic behind whether or not one plus one equals two and how we come to this moment. Well, there actually are people right now calling for more violence, and Hassan Piker is not one of them. To be honest, my personal opinion, I wouldn't be surprised if Hassan actually did want more violence, but doesn't want to say it. It's bad for the brand. He doesn't want to nuke his brand.
I don't know for sure. I can't read the guy's mind. But needless to say, there has been a massive increase recently in leftist terror. And a lot of it is due to, I suppose, the cultural shifts that we're seeing in this country. Now, I was out of town for the past two and a half days. I did some work Tuesday morning, but then I left as I was filming with Bill Maher on his podcast. And, um...
That episode of Club Random will come out soon. And I thought it went really, really well. We clearly disagree. He's clearly a liberal. But we had a great conversation and we hung out. And I think it's – my attitude is I like Bill. I thought he was fantastic even when I think he's wrong. And I told him I think some of the biggest videos we have on our show is criticizing you. And he smiled and he's like, well, you're allowed to be wrong. And it was fun and it was funny. That's what I'm talking about. That's where –
We are supposed to be in this country politically. I don't agree with you. I think you're wrong. We laugh. We we have a conversation for a couple hours. I wish that's that's the way things were. The reason I bring this up is part of the conversation, which I recommend you guys watch when it does come out, I think this weekend was in talking about that the younger generations are hyper polarized in crazy ways.
So, Hasan is, what is he, 33? And he's got, he skews a little bit younger than we do. Typically, I think our Timcast and all the channels, it's usually around like a 33-year-old audience. I think for Hasan, he's probably getting like a mid to late 20s.
The problem is that I see in this country, not that I would directly blame Hassan Piker for some lunatic going out and doing this, but it is the cultural effects of everything we do and say. And I have no problem saying we. I have no problem self-reflecting. I also recently was in New York and I did an interview with Adam Friedland.
And he made a comment about like your content just scares people and riles them up. I was like, yeah, probably, you know, I'm not playing stupid games. These are the things that I care about and I talk about. But the reality is this. I blame the left for more of the violence. I can I can show you the stories. The left is more violent. They run this this lie. And I blame the ADL for this, where they say the right is more violent because they lump any group that's not left as right wing. You
You go to their website, they have right wing anti-government. They have right wing white supremacist. They have white right wing other. And I'm like, what does it even mean? You're basically just saying if we're not agreeing with you, then we're right wing and then lumping it all together. But a neo-Nazi and an anarcho-capitalist have nothing in common. They hate each other. What is what does that mean? So here's what I see.
There is no the right. You know, in terms of a colloquial definition, it just means not the left. Because another thing that I was talking to Bill about was, you know, I said, look, Bill, I think if you and I just talked policies that we want to see enacted that we liked, I'd probably be further left than you. And he was like on some things. And I was like, probably on a lot of things, probably on a lot of things, probably most things, because I'm probably like left libertarian. The problem is what is, you know, what is true? What is fact?
They call me right wing for calling out their lies and their calls for violence because I don't want any of that stuff. Hassan Piker represents a much larger faction of the left. They've been propping him up in The New York Times and other outlets as they run these stories about the search for the next Joe Rogan, the liberal Joe Rogan. Well, you lost Joe. He is a liberal. And this is the point. Hassan, again, I'm going to say it. He didn't call for this. He's a component, a large component.
of this culture that says the only way to get action, right? They advocate for this stuff indirectly, or they at least say it is to be expected. What did you think was going to happen? And again, I'm not saying he's wrong for telling people that because I've said similar things. My point is,
There is a singular large leftist faction that is engaged in violence, wants to engage in violence. And Hassan plays a role in the expansion and normalization of that culture. I am not saying he's doing anything wrong for expressing his opinion. I am saying he is a component as much as I am a component of whatever the right is. The issue is the right's not going around and doing this. And what more can I say? Now, to be fair, um,
You know, Hassan and I have very little in common in that respect. It's not like a one for one. Hassan can certainly try and point the finger at me. But, you know, let's just say 2020, I said Trump lost. Trump didn't win the election. I've, you know, opposed violence. I tell people, you know, say this. A lot of people do. I think he does, too. But Hassan is basically the look. Let's just be real. There is this massive anti-Israel movement.
pro-Palestine movement always was allowed. Hassan is a principal leader in that movement. And what he says influences the people who take action. I am not blaming him for the shooting. I think I've I think I've prefaced that way enough. Let's you know, because this is cultural stuff. But let's let me let me read. Let me actually show you what's going on because I'm ranting. Hindustan Times. I do love this website. Twitch star Hassan Piker facing backlash after Capitol Jewish Museum shooting. Here's why.
They say he's facing a massive backlash after two Israeli embassy staffers were killed. Just over two days before the shooting, Piker hosted a live stream with over 20,000 viewers featuring George Bad Empanada Gnitis, who has repeatedly made provocative comments against Israels. Hassan is going to get people killed, one widely shared ex-post claimed. I wish young people today understood how to protest. You will never change society hating half of America or through violence or bigotry, one ex-user slammed the Twitch star.
He also said the Houthi tactics are justified and said they should win a Nobel Peace Prize. He insulted Dan Crenshaw and made really disgusting comments. And we're not, you know, we're not big fans of Crenshaw. Really nasty things about his injuries. He said America deserved 9-11. Like, he said a lot of stuff that I got to be honest. Let me, you know, when I, the reason why it takes me so long to articulate this is a sign of fault for this one guy is because
He is such a large component of normalizing violence and entertaining hatred and utilizing hatred people feel to take action. When you say things about that, about Dan Crenshaw like that, when you say America deserved 9-11, 3,000 innocent people killed, hundreds, thousands more dying in the aftermath. And he says we deserved it. Well, what do you think happens when you go to your platform with millions of people and say these people deserve death?
He's basically saying, oh, won't someone rid me of this priest? I'll tell you what I've said over and over again. I want Joe Biden to sit in a rocking chair with a nice little blanket on his lap as he rocks in the sun, smiling, looking at his kids playing in the yard. And I mean, do we want to go to jail? Do we want Hillary and all these? Yes, but I want peace and I want to be over. So I would certainly accept criminal accountability. But in reference to the escalation of the rhetoric, my rhetoric is always no way over.
No way. Let the man sit in his rocking chair out of power and deescalate the violence. Let me show you what we got. Let me play this. Now, I can't stand this stuff, man, to be honest. I really can't. Stop making me defend Hassan Piker.
But all of us need to call it out. I'm thinking about the New York Times doing a gauzy profile a few weeks ago of this gamer, Hassan Piker, who regularly employs awful genocidal rhetoric against Jewish people in the Jewish state. It's a little strong. I wouldn't call him a gamer. Now, as to the genocidal. No, I'm kidding. I think Hassan is not. Here's the problem.
This whole Israel-Palestine thing is, I just, to me, it's, I don't care. And it's funny because you say something neutral and you get attacked by everybody. And I'm just sitting back like, you know, I got the Bugs Bunny face. Just, yeah, I don't care. The pro-Israel, the anti-Israel, wow, could I care less? Like any other war and U.S. support for it, I care. But holy crap, people have built their entire lives and identities around Israel-Palestine. Jeez, man.
So, bro, calm down. Like extremists should not be empowered. People who spout prejudice should not be platformed. Wrong.
See, that's why I can't stand these people. You're not winning any arguments by saying we should ban Hassan Piker. He'll just go somewhere else. Stupid. This is a moment when we need to look ourselves in the mirror and say we've got to stop this because the consequences are deadly. Oh, geez. I can't stand these people. I don't like Hassan. You know, I'd argue it's not personal. I don't know the guy. It's professional. I think I think he's a he's woke. I think he says what.
People want him to say he's had backlash before and threatened to self-harm because he lost viewers over it. And I'm like, geez, bro, calm down. So, you know, this whole October 7th thing was really bad for him. He lost a big portion of his audience because people don't want to be involved in the terror and the violence. But they're banning him. So here's here's from the stream or whatever. Listen to this.
I always say bad empanada and I don't disagree on our ultimate goals. We just disagree on methods. I always say bad empanada and I don't disagree. You know, at first I was like, what is he saying? He's saying bad empanada, bad empanada. Okay, anyway, bad empanada said Israel can only carry out its genocide due to being backed by the U.S. Americans, if you want to stop them, take action. I'm not going to read any more than that.
He was going to say that it's easy to get a gun and you get you understand what he told people to do. I mean, I don't know. I don't know how that's not illegal. I got to be I got to be honest. I guess the issue is he didn't direct anybody to go. And I don't know. I mean, the argument for for whether speech is legal or illegal is whether it's creating an imminent threat. And because he didn't express a time, maybe there's an argument. If he says Israel must be stopped, go buy guns. You know what to do. I'm like.
I think that might cross the line. I'm not a free speech absolutist. I think that there are certain limitations. I'm not I'm not I'm not an anarchist, you know. So there is there's an argument that saying stuff isn't doing stuff. So, OK, as far as I understand, Assad has Hassan has gotten real close to saying things like people deserve this and Israel deserves it or US deserves it. But I don't think he's going to say, hey, guys, go buy weapons. You know what to do.
He has certainly said things that are dangerously close. Now take a look at this. This is Eyal Yacobi, Susan Abulhawa, organizer of UPenn Palestine Rights Literature Festival, openly calling for copycat Elias Rodriguez as the assassin. No genocidal Zionist should be safe anywhere in the world. She writes, natural logic. When governments fail to hold Israel accountable for an actual Holocaust being committed before our very eyes, no genocidal Zionist should be safe anywhere in the world.
What Mr. Rodriguez did should come as no surprise. In fact, I'm surprised it has not happened sooner. Human beings with a conscience literally cannot bear to witness such evil day in, day out, inflicted upon the bodies, minds, and futures of an utterly defenseless people by such a hateful, racist, colonial state. I would just like to say Uyghur Muslims real quick, just, you know, maybe Tibet,
We can bring up the people in Kashmir, Burma. There's another one. Oh, man. Somalia, Sudan. Look at what Boko Haram is. Anyway, where were we? Oh, you guys. Look, somebody who's Palestinian. I understand why they're talking about it because they're Palestinian. Somebody who is Jewish or Israeli. I understand what they're talking about. It's the only Jewish state. And I get it.
I can't for the life of me figure out why these Americans won't shut up about it, to be completely honest. No, don't get me wrong. I get it. America is funding Israel. It's fascinating to me because these people all have deranged all of them. I hope you comment. Y'all are nuts. Okay? Let me tell you. Y'all are nuts.
All of these Israel-Palestine obsessed people, I think, are crazy. You're allowed to criticize it. You're allowed to focus on it. You're allowed to write books about it. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the people where I say something like, let me actually let me show you this. So I have this tweet from Theo Vaughn. Yeah, here we go. So Theo Vaughn, for those that didn't see, said that he thought what was going on in Israel-Palestine was a genocide. And I got to be honest, he said it rather half-assedly.
And now here's what was surprising to me. I tweeted this. I was like, wow, for Theo Vaughn to come out and say that that's a bold swing in one direction on an issue he knows very little about. That's a fact statement. I'm not giving my opinion. Kind of. It's a mix of both. It is a fact. Theo Vaughn has adopted a position that swings far in one direction to where he admits he doesn't know much about it. That's all I said. Oh, boy, did these people take a dump in their own on their on their floors over me having expressed that?
Someone, people were posting, I saw this, that Theo has returned from Qatar and things like that. And I thought they were speaking metaphorically. I thought they were saying something like, oh, look, he's pro-Palestine now and he's calling, you know, to genocide. Here's his trip from Qatar, right? No, and then I looked at it and I was like, oh, homie actually did go to Qatar. Wow. So I posted an image. I said, holy ish, I thought this was a joke. And bro, Elijah,
What are you doing? Elijah Schaefer. He said, are you implying Theo is paid by Qatar because he visited U.S. troops at an American airbase during the time Trump was in the same country? Bro, your brain is cooked on Israel. I'm sorry, man. Elijah, he's a friend of the show. I think he's a good dude. He's a lot of his opinions. But this is the problem with these people.
I responded, are you applying on being paid by Israel for pointing out that Theo just got back from Qatar? I don't think people's brains don't work anymore. I'm sorry. OK, I'm not trying to come down too hard on Elijah because, you know, sorry, buddy, I'm not trying to be too to aggro. My point is, all I said was he went to Qatar. Why do you think his opinion changed? He went to Qatar. He met a bunch of people and they said, have you seen what's going on? And he went, wow, I didn't know that. That's it.
That's all I said. He actually went to Qatar. Where do you think he got his opinion from? Do you think one day he was sitting in his room and he went, it's a genocide? No, he met people who told him this. But look at the... Bro, come on. Are you kidding? So my response is, are you implying I'm paid by Israel for pointing out he went to Qatar? It's crazy to me how insane everyone is as it pertains to this. And you know what? I don't care. But that's the world they want to live in. I certainly don't. I don't care. I ain't gonna live in it. Anyway...
Where we currently are is a socialist leftist screaming free, free Palestine assassinated two young people who worked in an embassy. And, you know, I'd be telling y'alls, you know, I got a post. I never thought the escalation of conflict would in the United States would be around Israel, Palestine, although it was always kind of there. I was like abortion, maybe Donald Trump, maybe.
But I don't know. This is still just one incident, but it is getting insane. It is getting absolutely insane. I got to be honest, like the amount of vitriol and psychotic, psychotic mental derangement over Israel. Palestine has.
It pushed it up, in my opinion, that maybe we're going to see an escalation, a summer of love over this issue. Like, for example, there's a viral clip where I was talking to Adam Conover. Let me give you another fact statement. U.S. military interest in Israel is largely predicated upon the Suez Canal.
Donald Trump wants to control Panama, Greenland, and the Suez because he wants to police world trade routes. The reason why the U.S. bombed the Houthi rebels, these are all explicitly stated. By all means, you can insinuate ulterior motives. But there are these people who are like, nah, it's because Israel is a secret cabal that controls the world. And I'm like, bro.
It's because the U.S. wants to control the world. They want to control the trade routes. What does Israel want from Greenland? It's derangement. It's insane. It overlooks all of the conflicts of the planet. And everywhere we're spending money and acts like we only live in Israel. These people are Israel first. Right. Let me let me clarify that.
These people who do nothing, nothing but complain about Israel are Israel first. I call them Israel first people. OK, and don't get me wrong. By all means, call the Zionists and Trump and whoever else the same thing if you want. I don't care. My point is when
you're dealing with problems around the world and the first thing you talk about every single time that needs all of our money and all of our troops is Israel. Yeah, you're Israel first. Because me, I'm like southern border maybe? And then you're like, Tim, why don't you talk about Palestine? Because I'm not Israel first. And the funny thing is, I made that statement to Adam Conover and the anti-Israel people just literally started screaming and flinging feces in the air. Like, I can't believe Tim Pool would say such a thing. You shill for Israel and I'm like,
This is this is the fact stated purpose of what the U.S. is doing in the region. Like we're bombing the Houthis. We were Obama's killing people in Yemen and they're doing it because of the Red Sea. You know, I mean.
Even when their messages get leaked or whatever, this is the world they live in. They live in a deranged reality. And I will say this. I don't know if Qatar's paying anybody, but these people, the look, I'm the pro Israel side. There are reasonable people on both sides. There are very fine people on both sides. And there are psychotic, deranged morons on both sides. And they're loud. So I can talk to some reasonable Israel people and they'll be critical of military action and they'll respond with we're at war.
I don't care. I'm not a fan of your war. And by all means, criticize Israel's military strikes. I'm not as I'm not Israel. I don't care. My stance is we shouldn't be funding it. We shouldn't be funding Israel. Hey, solves the problems, right? No, it doesn't. Because even though my position is largely we shouldn't be funding Israel, these deranged lunatics like this guy who shot and killed these people live in a world where they're like, no, you are not anti-Israel enough. And I'm like, bro.
I pay American taxes and I want those taxes to go to our plumbing, to our roads, to our border. I want to bring manufacturing back. I don't care about Israel at all. I'm not a Christian. I'm not a Christian Zionist. I'm not a Jewish Zionist, whatever. Don't know. Don't care. Not involved. I am an American.
So who what is with these Israel first people? This is like the whole the only the only world they live in. Like this guy right here. Dude, you're a Hispanic socialist from Chicago. Why did you go to D.C. and kill two people? These people are psychotic and they're calling for more. And that is the derangement. The derangement exists. And boy, I got to tell you, this is the you know, I was having a good conversation on elitism. I said, listen, listen, it's OK.
The issue is you have two kinds of elites. You have Donald Trump who says, thank you for making me your president. I won't let you down. And then you've got the Hillary Clintons of shut your mouth. I'm in charge. Right. So it is good when there are people who are elite, who are grateful with honor and and they are dutiful.
And they say, I'm smarter, faster, stronger than all of you combined. And with that power, I will do everything I can to protect you, to help you grow and to give you a good life. Right. Then you have the people like Hillary Clinton who are like, I'm smarter than you. I'm wealthier than you. I'm better than you. So screw off. We want a nation to be led by the elite in a sense, not the elite in the political term of people with wealth and means who disparage you.
We want our elite to be individuals that are stronger, faster, smarter, and dutiful. That they're going to do, with great power comes great responsibility. That's it. You can either have a superhero or a supervillain. That's kind of a simple way to put it, right? A man wakes up one day and he's indestructible and he can fly. Does he decide that you're all a bunch of morons who should be worshiping him? Or does he decide that he will dedicate his life to making your lives better?
I'm not calling Donald Trump a superhero. The man is not without his flaws, but you get the point. I'm going to wrap it up there. We got more to talk about. Smash the like button. Share the show with everyone you know. Stay tuned. More to come. And we'll see you all in the next segment. Now, perhaps it's unfair that I think everybody's lazy because I work nonstop 24-7 and partially on the weekends. So, OK, that's unfair. But I do think with this viral tic-tac that we've got,
People are lazy and entitled. And there's a lot to break down in this. Now, I'm biased as a business owner who's dealt with a lot of people. But we have this viral video. It's got two and a half million views on TikTok where this woman is basically like,
She's getting fired from her job. She's getting laid off. And then she takes the opportunity to criticize her boss. And what I think we're seeing here is the reason why it's going viral is because Gen Z and millennials are entitled and they're
This, you know, I'm going to say, I don't think this should go viral. Let me let me play this for you. How do I make it louder? Tori is on the call from our HR company. Tori is on the call from our HR company. So thank you for taking the time to meet with us today. Unfortunately, your employment with Hilton will be terminated immediately. Let me pause real quick. She works on publication.
She brought out the faces and the name of the publication, but there's a giant logo behind them. Anyway. Through the end of the month and Tori is available to help with any questions or processes moving forward. Can I ask why I'm being let go today? Yes, we had the 90 day period and in the end we were just thinking it wasn't a great fit.
Can I ask for reasonings as to why you did not think it was a good fit? No. Thank you. Have a nice day. Click. Long pause. I'm going to tell you because I was listening to this and I was like, what's going on? Yeah, the publication went out late. It went out with typos. So let's break this down. I hope this is educational because I'm a business owner. Why did the woman, not HR. Okay, so you got there's some woman. I don't know what she's doing. There's the boss. Then there's the HR lady.
The boss is like, it wasn't a good fit. Bye. And the employee whose face is not blurred, her name is Carson. She says, why am I being like, oh, can I ask? And there's a pause. I would assume the pause is because the boss is waiting for clearance from the higher ups so that she knows what she can and cannot say legally. She goes into mention that there was a 90 day period. I'm going to tell you my first thought. The reasons she's giving are a courtesy for no reason.
And she should have said nothing, but I think she was trying to be nice to a certain degree. Like we had some issues because I think the real issues aren't coming up. The reason why companies have a 90 day period, we do this, we do it differently. We contract people for like a set number of projects. And then if the projects work out well, we might offer a staff position.
normal thing to do. For those that have ever seen Spider-Man from the 2000s, Peter Parker, Tobey Maguire is like, I want that staff position. Yes. Maybe one day you'll get it if we think you do consistently good work and then we'll pay you that. Here's what I think. I think the employee is arrogant and I must say this. I don't believe her actions in the video are overly arrogant, but I think you can see why they're letting her go. Let me keep playing more and then I'll explain. I just feel like
The design wasn't necessarily a good fit for the publication. Can I offer some feedback to that? No. Thank you and have a nice day. Click. Once again, the appropriate response not handled by the business. Every step along the way, I met my requirements. And quite honestly, a lot of the reasonings as to why it was late was dependent upon you. Okay. I met my requirements. I got to be honest. That's the last thing anybody wants to hear as a boss.
You did the bare minimum and there were some problems. We let you go. She says, I met my requirements. There were some errors. She said you had one typo. And then she says, it's your fault. Okay. All right. I'll break down. I think this chick's a millennial, to be honest. I have millennials, man. And I received materials often late from you as well as
not being able to control every ad thing that came in. And I've honestly been on top of everything. I have asked considerable amounts of being able to access things such as the production email to help these things get out more on time. And every step of the way, I was met with roadblocks and being told no. As my direct report, I never felt like you stepped up and asked me if I could use help.
And there it is, isn't it?
But when you do that to somebody, they're going to panic. Okay. The reason why companies cut you off abruptly without notifying you is because it's the corporate world, man. You know, I'm going to tell you a story. When I worked at Vice and I quit, I still had access, editorial access to their YouTube channel with millions of subs on my personal email. My personal email was connected for months.
For months. I was really surprised. But here's the thing. I'm an honorable person. So when I noticed several months later that I still had access, I was like, okay, this has got to be an issue, right? And I messaged somebody. I was like, hey, dude, you need to check this, man. Like, I don't want to be involved in anything going wrong and me having to get out of here. They took me off.
The reason why companies do this is because guess what? A certain amount of people are vindictive and arrogant and angry and will retaliate. So that's why security escorts you out, because you don't know how people will respond. And she says she's freaking out. This video is going viral and people are praising her being like, ha ha, you tell your boss. Let me just I'll play a little bit more.
I feel like I've done every step of the way of trying to do this job to the best of my abilities. And it wasn't enough. Thank you and have a nice day. The worst thing she could be doing right now is exactly this. Gen Z, please do not take this as an example of what to do. She's not going to. She might get hired as a PR stunt fair flavor of the month. Bring her on and say we hire because we're a good company. This is destructive. Look, when we have people that we work with, we don't like. We always say, listen,
We'll put in a good recommendation based on the things that we thought of the things you were doing that went really, really well. We don't disparage anybody who leaves. If there's personal beef or whatever, we don't. We leave it alone. Everybody's always complaining, too. How come this person doesn't work for you anymore? I'm like, do you want me to just get into a drama war with some? No, I want them to succeed. We just didn't like working together or I didn't like working with them. Something happened and it's nobody's business. Now, like if some lady came here and took a dump on the floor, we'd call the police or something like that and be like.
What is happening here? And then I'd come out and just say it. They clogged the toilet for the last time, damn it. But doing something like this and being like, it's your fault. It's you. This company is going to be like, well, after she... People are going to call. They're going to look at her resume, especially with this video, especially with the logo in the background. And they're going to say...
How was she? And then be like, she was arrogant, entitled, lazy. She did the bare minimum. She made mistakes. And then when we told her we were letting her go because she didn't pass probation, she published the video online and disparaged us with our corporate logo. And it was a huge mistake. We regret working with her and we never want to do it again. But by all means, this is the world that these people live in. And quite frankly, you've made it very difficult. So what? You do not. You are not owed my money. Let me say this, too.
Maybe this lady, this boss, whoever's talking, I don't know which one it is, is a bad person. Okay, well, she's there. She's doing the job. And the issue is hierarchy exists. And it may always be good. But you come in as a new employee and say, I'm better than your manager. And the manager is doing a bad job. And it's her fault. And you know what I would say as the boss? I'd be like, well, let me tell you. Right now, I am satisfied with the work of, let's call it, what was her name? Kristen, I don't know what her name is.
You, I don't know. OK, and so it's possible you are correct. And it's possible that the person I have overseen this project is not good at their job. The issue, however, is that they are the person I have hired to lead this job and they have hit their marks and we are we are we are on track. That means if someone is going to come in and work on this project, they have to be able to work with this person. I'll say it again.
Something that Gen Z and millennials need to understand. You might be the smartest person in the building. You might be smarter than the CEO. You don't have the access and the resources. And so your position is, how can I prove myself and engage in a trade deal that results in me getting more access, confidence of employees? This ain't it. And so again, I got an employee. Let's say they're a C minus. And I'm sitting here going like, well...
They're the smartest cookie in a bunch, but they get the job done. And I've known him for a long time. We haven't had any problems, no lawsuits, nothing like that. They nod and get the job done. I wish we had someone better, but it's going pretty well. You know, C minus means, you know, we're accomplishing our goals could probably be better.
Then comes some new employee, probationary, talking about how it's everyone else's fault but their own. And I'm going to be like, look, I don't know you. I don't want disruption. It is hard to get systems functional and profitable in the first place. You're fired. Goodbye. Let me show you this one. This is the world we live in. Unusual Wales said, Bill Gates says a two-day work week is coming in just 10 years thanks to AI replacing humans for most things.
To which I said, and those who work five days will be rich and the two day workers will complain demand higher tax than the five day workers. Let me just stress. I work like 16 hour days. I say like not because I'm a valley girl, because it's about sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. It depends on what I'm doing. And, you know, some days I will skate and we'll just exercise. And then some days we're filming a project in between. And so it's basically that I'm working from seven in the morning to 11 at night.
So, 16. And it's difficult. But we make a lot of money. We make a lot of money doing this. And I have to pay an insanely high tax rate. But hold on. What if I worked less? I'd get more bang for my buck. There is a diminishing return on doing more work. It is the scummiest of systems. I find it despicable entirely. But if I sit here and say, I could do a show on Sunday.
Why? I'm going to get even less for doing it. I'm going to I'm going to work twice as hard for less than half the money because of the way this government system works. So that's my point. It's a five day work week. Not for me. No, I work. I work, you know, probably like 12 to 16 hours Monday through Friday with a couple hours on the weekends because you're always on as the boss. And I and I'm getting paid less because of taxes. It sucks.
So I said, if you go to a two-day work week, the people who want to work five will have to pay higher taxes. The people working two days will complain because the five-day workers are rich. They're going to make a middle-class median income off two days. And they're going to be like, that guy who works five days is making three times as much as me. Tax him. And he's like, but I'm working three times as much. I don't care. You shouldn't be allowed to have the money. Stop working. It's a stupid system. It makes no sense. Well, this guy,
On X says, so you think we should be working seven days a week for corporate overlords? Not very populist of you there, buddy. What did I say? We say we should be working seven days a week. Oh, man, some people are dumb. And so then I responded with, so you're saying you never want to work at all and think others should pay your bills and clean your house and drive for you and carry you up the stairs? How very communist of you. I know that most of you who watch the show are capable of understanding the logical point that I was making.
Literally me complaining about taxes is in no way making a point that people should work all day every day. And he said, super good faith response using the same logic as Robert Barron's did when labor pushed to get the five day work week, blah, blah, blah. What, asking for lower taxes? And I said, it was an IQ test and you failed. And he says, not a response. Well, you know, a lot of people know you dip ish. He just reversed your hyperbolic statement back at you. The internet is undefeated.
And he says, yep, aside from the fact that he's morally inconsistent and his positions don't make sense together. Well, bro, if your IQ is sub hundred, you wouldn't understand what I'm saying. I can't control for that. That's not my fault. My point is this. We want people to work hard. We want people who work hard to be rewarded. And we have many problems. People who are lazy and don't want to work blame the people who do for being rich.
You get, look, the reason I'm putting these together, you get this one being like, actually, it's not my fault. I couldn't do what I was asked to do because you were late. It was your fault. So what? I cannot stand this. We had that, you know, shout out to Tara Palmieri, who was on the show, the journalist from Brooklyn, because one of the debates we were having is like, I think it was in the green room, actually. You don't deserve my money. Okay. You do not deserve my money. I don't have to give it to you. That's why I can't stand about these people.
I work to generate value and engage in trade. Money is a representation of the value that I've traded for somebody with somebody. Now I'm holding it. And there are people like, I would like some of that. And I say, yes, you would. Indeed. What can you trade for it? And they go, nothing. Just give it to me. And I'm like, huh? No, goodbye. There are people who are like, you shouldn't be able to hire someone unless you're going to give them a certain amount of money. Then I don't hire them. Like, dude, you know, I got a crazy story for you.
I was playing poker the other day and I tipped the dealer. It was a $300 game, meaning the max you could buy in was 300 bucks. And I tipped the dealer $100. And one of the guys at the table lost his mind. He was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on. You can't do that.
Because you're taking money off the table. It's called going south. But no, I'm tipping the dealer. Everybody was like, bro, just tip to the dealer. And I was like, yeah, but tip to $100. And the dude got pissed. And I said, it's my money. I can do what I want with it. Who are these people in this world where they're like, you have to hire me. You can't fire me. And we should tax you for working order. It's a silly system indeed. Anyway, I'm going to wrap it up there because I don't need to rant for 20 years. My point is this video goes viral. Where are the comments at?
I don't want to log into TikTok. But it's basically like, actually, can I just, there we go. That was so embarrassing for them. HR professional here, they did a horrid job. Make them uncomfortable. They were so ill prepared for this. Why is no one ready? Girl, you ate. The silence was so loud. I hope someone hires her. I hope someone hires her. Because it ain't going to be me. I'm going to be like, you put your company on blast because you were mad they didn't give you what you didn't deserve?
And she's going to be like, well, I did a good job. I deserve it. No, you don't. No, no. Bro, you can come to me, put your feet up on the table smelling like crap. And then I'm like, this guy's terrible. Why should I hire him? And he goes, because I'm going to make you $1 billion. And I'm the smartest guy in the business. I'll be like, no, I don't care. Get out.
You can come in here being a normal looking guy and you can go, to be honest, man, I've never worked in media before. I have no idea how to operate a camera, but, and then tell me a joke and the joke's funny. And then I go, interesting. It's a funny guy. I might be able to find a position for him that benefits the company in some way. Sir, you're hired. What is the trade proposition?
He's a funny guy. He said, I will exchange for you the humor that I possess. It will appear on camera and people will enjoy it. You give me money for that. I say, OK, what do I do? I say those funny bits and jokes will get a lot of traffic and views from people who like the guy. And then I can sell ads on it and I can do sponsorship deals and we can get paid. And then I will transfer the money to him for the share of which is his. And we will keep the share for which is mine. And that's called running a business.
But this woman's like, I'm good and it's your fault. So what? You can be the smartest person in the room. Like there was this video from I think the movie show is Suits or something. I can't remember what show it was. It was a great clip. And the kid walks in and sits down. He's all smarmy. And they're like, you know, we can offer you X amount, you know, X million. He goes, no. They said something like, why do you want to work? He's like, no, you tell me why I should work here. And they were like, no. And he was like, listen.
I'm the best of the best. And I can make this much money and do this much. And I know it. I can go wherever I want. And they were like, okay, then go there. Get out. And he was like, what? And they were like, dude, we don't want to work with you. This is what people don't realize. Anyway, I don't know. I was ranting about work stuff. I'm gonna wrap it up there. I gotta, we gotta record another one. We got the culture war coming up. Thanks for hanging out. Follow me on X and Instagram at Timcast. And we'll see y'all in the next segment.
Does it seem to be getting worse? That's my question for you guys, because it comes up quite a bit. I've done a bunch of interviews on other shows recently, and this conversation pops up quite a bit where liberals, they say nothing's happening. You know, this is totally normal.
Well, Jesse Waters has a segment from his show. I believe this was just a day or so ago, which I'm not going to play the full thing, but he does bring up a very interesting issue with the escalation and the degree of far left terror. And when he wraps it up in this nice little package, you start to say, holy crap, because all of this is within like the past, not even a year.
THIS IS LIKE SIX MONTHS. LISTEN TO THIS. THE SUMMER OF LOVE IS BACK AND WE HAVEN'T EVEN MADE IT TO MEMORIAL DAY. IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS, A HEALTHCARE EXEC WAS ASSASSINATED OUTSIDE HIS HOTEL. TESLA'S STARTED GETTING FIRE BOMBED, IVF CLINICS TORCHED. THEY EVEN TRIED TO BURN DOWN GOVERNOR SHAPIRO'S HOUSE IN PENNSYLVANIA. WHAT DO THEY ALL HAVE IN COMMON? THEY'RE ALL LEFTISTS AND THEY'RE NOT MOSTLY PEACEFUL.
OVERNIGHT, A YOUNG COUPLE IN WASHINGTON WAS EXECUTED IN COLD BLOOD. TWO ISRAELI DIPLOMATS WHO WERE IN LOVE WERE GUNNED DOWN LEAVING A JEWISH MUSEUM. THE ASSASSIN FIRED SEVERAL TIMES. AFTER THE VICTIMS FELL TO THE GROUND, VIDEO SHOWED THE GUNMAN LEANING IN AND FIRING SEVERAL MORE TIMES. AS ONE OF THEM CRAWLED AWAY, THE SHOOTER FIRED AGAIN, RELOADED, AND THEN SHOT EVEN MORE ROUNDS INTO HER BODY.
The suspect was arrested on the scene and went berserk. Witnesses say before this guy was arrested, security accidentally led him into the museum thinking he was a victim and people inside had no idea they were face to face with a killer. So they go on to interview a woman who talks about she gave him a drink of water and stuff. But here's more from Jesse Bondi.
We'll be doing everything in our power to keep all citizens safe, especially tonight, our Jewish community. We will follow the facts. We will follow the law. And this defendant, if charged, will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. So so here's here's my points. I know it is a little redundant. I did. I recorded earlier on this, but
I was watching that clip from Jesse as he went on about this. And again, I've had these conversations with people. So comment, because I'm curious what you guys think. Is it getting worse? I did an interview with Adam Friedland recently. He's a funny guy. I thought it was fun. And he said, we had bombings in the 70s. Like this stuff happens all the time. It's not new. It's not crazy. You're just scaring people, blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, I don't think so. Not in my life.
I don't know where it goes, but let me just say that what we're experiencing in this country is unprecedented. You know, bombings, not unprecedented. It's happened. But the arrest of the front runner for the presidency, his attempted assassination twice. He asked me, Adam's like, how many presidents have been killed? And I was like, I don't know, is it two or three? It's like four or five. I don't know the numbers. It's actually kind of a lot. It's like 10% of all presidents or something. It's like, OK, right.
Two assassination attempts, the arrest of his lawyers, false criminal charges. Sorry, it's unprecedented. It is. We have the Tesla firebombings and shootings. We've had random Tesla vehicles shot up. We've had people confront, get up in the face of these individuals. Now we have this insane, like it wasn't even a year. It was about a year ago. We were getting, not almost a year ago. We were getting these violent protests over Israel. Now a dude literally just murdered some people.
And it's a horrifying story. In D.C., nonetheless, crazy, man. The rhetoric is escalating. And so I'll throw this in there, too, because I was out for the week, I know. But I was talking to Bill Maher. And one of the issues that came up was the hyperpolarization among the younger generations, which is getting worse and worse. That people don't understand that.
People like to look at this country and just think you've got Democrats and Republicans and they all agree. Like a 70-year-old Republican views the world the same way as a 20-year-old Republican. They do not. They may both vote Republican, but for different reasons. Democrats largely the same. Older Democrats hate Donald Trump much more than younger Democrats. It's weird. And if we go by age and not by party...
Every demographic is interesting, too, because Bill, he said he was familiar with it. I said, you know, real care politics, but that aggregate where it showed every age bracket was pro Trump except for 70 plus, which is the majority of cable TV viewers. And he was familiar. And so my point there is, as we move forward throughout the years, older people are going to die, to which Bill started laughing. I said when they pass, I say they die. I'm like, OK, they're dead. It's funny. I had a fun time. I like Bill.
He's wrong a lot. And oh, boy. Oh, boy. Is he full of himself? You better believe it. But it was good. And I appreciate that he's having his conversations with everybody. So that'll that'll be at some point. But we went when the boomer generation leaves. They don't want violence. They just disagree with each other. The younger generations are largely more pro violence or at least the left is.
They claim the right is, but that makes no sense. They're just like I mentioned earlier, they're basically lumping all of the right in together. I don't know what that is. What is white nationalists and ANCAPs are not the same group. They're not both right wing. That's stupid. The left is not all unified either. There are some people on the liberal left side that are pro-Israel, but they largely still vote in a bloc.
The left will claim this about the right, but it's not true. White nationalists are not voting alongside ANCAPs. It just doesn't happen. But progressives are voting with Democrats. It does happen. Prominent leftists, I'm not going to name them, but, you know, anti-Israel leftist socialists have rallied for Joe Biden. Libertarians ragged on Trump the whole time. Some of them voted for him. Indeed, I get it. Many ragged on him the whole time. And so that's that's what I'm wondering.
As we get older, is the real issue not that people are being polarized, that the polarization has already happened? And so in 10 years, the way I put it is if we look at like where my fingers touch is, you know, Democrats and Republicans who are older. And then as you move down, the younger down here is 20 year olds up here, 70 year olds. The 20 year olds are super far away from each other. So what happens when you age that up?
The point where people are together will start to die off, and then you'll end up with just two distinct factions, hyper-polarized, viewing each other as moral enemies, mortal enemies. And is that when you get civil war? Maybe. Here's this funny post from Reddit that I think is entertaining. Who would win this civil war? And they've made ridiculous regions for some reason, but sure, let's entertain it.
And it's the U.S. is the Midwest and Northeast. The Confederacy is Arizona to Florida, North Carolina. The Pacific states, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and California. The Rocky Mountain states are the Rocky Mountain states and the Republic of Alaska. I don't know why Hawaii would be aligned with the Pacific states. It would probably just be its own thing. And then they'd all starve to death because Hawaii is very reliant on imports.
But anyway, maybe they'll do trade with Asia or something. Or get conquered by China in two seconds. So the funny thing is, people seem to think that the blue faction, the Midwest and Northeast, would survive because of the power structures. Look at West Virginia in there. This map makes no sense. It's a silly idea, but this was four days ago. They posted this, and it got a lot of attention. I'm going to tell you right off the bat, they're wrong about the blue states winning.
The blue states have two large fronts based on this map. The Rocky Mountain states and the Confederate states bordering them. Now, they're protected with Canada to the north. But if you take a look at the border exposure of the Confederate states, some might argue, yeah, well, but they've got, you know, they're bordering everybody. Sure. However, the East Coast states, like the issue, I suppose, is
The southern states in this map, they have clear fronts not aligned in concentrated areas. So, you know, Kansas, Missouri, if there's a united front or conflict for these two states could be a problem. The issue for the blue states is that you've got a southern front and a western front. And for the Confederate states, you have basically a northern front. So you have enemy combatants in a straight line across the board. It's a big border to protect. It could be difficult, but they're two different factions.
So it's hard to know for sure. I don't know. It's a silly map, to be honest. Alaska probably would just break off for itself. You know, some have argued that Arizona, New Mexico would absolutely not align with the South. They'd align with the Rocky Mountain states. I think the issue is largely the Rocky Mountain states would not be involved in a direct conflict. They'd be rather neutral.
The Pacific states would be involved in conflict to a certain degree, but still largely neutral. And the conflict would largely be East Coast between the North and the South, which is surprise, surprise. The Rocky Mountain states are sparsely populated and there's nothing there. Not literally, like Kansas says, Nebraska have farms and stuff. But the East Coast has industry, development, ports, airports, infrastructure, as does the South. So...
I don't know if this one is just a silly way to break it down, but I do love how they just believe blue. Blue would win. I'm from the blue country, and I sadly agree, and they say it's because of the profits and everything. This person said, blue's the most geographically indefensible. They can't stop anyone from rolling across the Great Plains. They have large borders of two different armies that can attack from the west and the south. Yellow, on the other hand, has an ocean on one side. The Rockies cascade mountains in Sierra Nevada. That's why when you break this down...
I don't know. I think this is funny, Matt, but the last point I'll make is people don't understand that it's not going to break down this way. You know, whenever I have conversations about escalation of violence and civil war, people don't understand that factions are not geographically based. Red Illinois is not aligning itself with blue Chicago. It's not going to happen. And the populations are comparable of the red rural portion and the urban portion.
What likely happens is that the ideological split in this country is largely rural and urban, and the rural factions will shut the roads down, isolating resources very easily. One guy with a rifle in the middle of Illinois can stop a convoy of supplies and steal them all for a base. And Chicago goes, oh, no, they don't control enough land to be able to guarantee the transport of resources into the cities. Anyway, I don't know why I'm talking about it. That was just funny, Matt.
But anyway, my point was, you know, with Jesse Waters bringing up this escalation, this repetition, I'm curious if we're going to—is he saying Summer of Love now? I guess we'll see. I'm going to leave it there, my friend. Smash the like button. Share the show with everyone you know. Thanks for hanging out, and we will see you all at TimCast IRL tonight at 8 p.m.
