from the past weekend about an InfoWars reporter, Jamie White, who was brutally murdered. And we don't know exactly what happened. And I believe the official statement from police is they haven't identified the victim reported, though InfoWars has stated that this was one of their reporters. He apparently was working late, was on his way home and was found. I believe the story is that he was he was shot.
Now, again, we don't know why Alex Jones has made inferences to the Soros D.A. and how this the narrative around that is basically these criminals are being allowed to run free.
And violent crime is on the rise. However, a new component of the story is the surfacing of a tweet from the reporter in question where he appears to be on what's called the Ukrainian hit list. While the corporate press has largely said it's not a hit list, it's just a list of enemies of the country of Ukraine. I'm pretty sure I'm on it as well. And so people have been speculating. Could this have been something a bit more than just a robbery gone wrong? Well, no.
Guys, I'm going to start off right away by saying I always try to keep a cool head about things. I'm not going to come out and scream that it's political. We don't know. And I think if it was or there's any inclination, then Alex Jones would have leaned into that. He would have absolutely. I mean, this is Alex Jones we're talking about. If they were working on something big, he'd say they're coming after us. We're working on something big. So I think this may have just been a senseless killing. That being said.
We are, of course, looking at a dramatic escalation of conflict in this country and violence. And now, as of course, I have put in the title and thumbnail, excuse me, Civil War. It's not just me. It's never been just me. Honestly, we have Ray Dalio did an interview with Tucker Carlson about the civil war that we are in some kind. He even published an op ad, I believe, with Time magazine about how we are in some new form of civil war. I don't think it's new.
I think anybody who's looked at history knows that we are just in the escalating period of civil strife. And it's following your typical track for any historical civil war. Now, in the United States, our civil war, of course, was a war between states, which is kind of weird because more like a world war than a civil war. I mean, states were largely sovereign. There was a loose federal government.
And after the civil war in the United States, we had a solid, strong federal government. That is, it was state against state. It was and largely the South was trying to just leave the union. It wasn't internal governments fighting amongst each other. It wasn't a battle for control of one government or one culture. It was a secessionist movement. So in that, the American Civil War is unique.
That being said, we had the period of bleeding Kansas. This was seven years before the Civil War in the United States that ultimately led to the Civil War. This was in the territory of Kansas as battles raged on as to whether or not the state would be a free state or a slave state. And what did you have? Roving bands of zealots murdering each other. John Brown famously with his children and his ragtag band going around killing slave owners.
there was an escalating degree of violence. Now, I don't know that we're there yet. Interestingly, I think people have put the estimate at this year, political deaths around 20 or 30. So these are these are instances where someone was murdered specifically for political reasons. And while we're looking at this story of an Infowars reporter again, which may be, you know, I'll put it this way. It's probably I think Occam's razor suggests he lived in a city that's got high crime. Look, it's Austin.
Probably was a robbery gone wrong. Now, some people don't believe in coincidences considering the guy was on the Ukrainian hit list. Who knows? And maybe we'll never know. But let me just say this. If the bare minimum we're facing is a narco tyranny, this is still a civil strife precursor to an escalating civil war.
I am not suggesting that I know for sure or the probability is greater than 50 percent that a civil war would actually happen. But based on what we're seeing from Trump, his march to the sea against the deep state, the reaction from the left, the threats and the attempts on Trump's life, as well as Elon Musk. And now the I got to tell you, the shooting up of Tesla vehicles is the crazy thing. That's right. They've been trying to firebomb Tesla dealerships and shoot them up.
And there are Tesla owners who say their cars were actually shot up and they're scared to drive these vehicles now. I mean, what do you call this period we are in? I'm not I'm not making a suggestion. I'm literally asking you to comment. Tell me what you think. Say, Tim, nothing is happening. This is normal. And we're just paying attention to it. I don't think so. I think there's a reason why academics and billionaires and everybody else seems to be getting ready for something.
Look at all these millionaires and billionaires building their island bunkers. Zuckerberg famously bought an island out in Hawaii, and he's building a massive house with his own private Wagyu beef, and it's got an underground bunker in it. Now, of course, the media reported his $200 million underground bunker. That's not true. He built a house. It has a small underground bunker space. But interesting anyway. What do you need that underground bunker for, Mark? Maybe he's just rich, so why the heck not?
But over the past decade, millionaires and billionaires, and we're not talking about the itty bitty millionaires. We're talking about the 900 million millionaires, right? They have been building mountain bunkers and bases. One of the most popular locations has been New Zealand. So what do they see? You know, it could be as simple as rich people ain't got nothing else to spend money on. So why not have an emergency bunker where you can land a plane in a mountain or something? Perhaps.
But now with the violence, the escalation, the threats of further escalation, the murdering of an Infowars reporter, the targeting of Alex Jones, you've got political lawfare. You've got an attempt to put the front runner for the presidency in 24 in prison. Now the sitting president. They are still making death threats against Elon Musk. They are trying to destroy his company. They're trying to bomb. They're literally planting incendiary devices at Tesla dealerships.
Things are getting pretty wild out there, my friends. But let me slow down and let's actually jump into all the news. Before we do, of course, head over to Rumble.com slash Timcast IRL. Green Room number 96. Let me see if I can go back here. This is Ben Davidson, who was here last night, and we were discussing what happens when the magnetic poles shift. And he believes that we are about 15 years away from a major incident where over the course of a few weeks, the poles will shift, the Earth will tilt, Antarctica and Greenland will move to the equator. Yeah.
Seriously, it's going to be nuts. Assuming that actually happens. You know, who am I to say he's wrong? I'm not a space weather scientist, but it seems a little out there. Facebook X to wherever you can. And you can do that for my birthday. I would greatly appreciate it. We'll call it a birthday present from post-millennial InfoWars reporter. Jamie White was brutally murdered outside his apartment on Sunday night. White was pronounced dead in the hospital. The investigation remains ongoing and authorities have yet to release further details. Now, I'll try to be, you know, as respectful as I can. But I believe the story was that there was a pool of blood and that he was shot and
The Post-Monial reports Infowars reporter Jamie White was found unresponsive late Sunday night and what authorities are investigating is a murder. He was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital. Austin Police Department officers responded to a high priority emergency call at approximately 1157 p.m. in the 2300 block of Douglas Street. Officers arrived about two minutes later and found White a male victim with obvious signs of trauma.
The investigation is ongoing and authorities have not yet confirmed the nature of White's injuries or released information about potential suspects. This marks Austin's eighth homicide of the year. Ratliff said this is pretty early on in the investigation and the homicide unit will be releasing more information as they're able. Now, Alex Jones, we talked about this yesterday, said this is let me pull up the tweet from him. Actually, he likens this more to the Soros D.A. Jose Garza.
saying he was murdered due in part to the policies of the Soros, Austin, Texas D.A. Jose Garza. We pledge that Jamie's tragic death will not be in vain and those responsible for the senseless violence will be brought to justice. Jamie's important work will be carried on through InfoWars, our readers and cherished listeners. Now, Post Millennial highlights this from Lord Bebo. All right, Lord Bebo. He says, Jamie White, whom Ukraine put on the Ukrainian enemies and death list, was brutally murdered.
Then goes on to quote Alex Jones with a screenshot from Jamie White, who says, I'm on the Ukrainian enemies list due to my work at InfoWars and with real Alex Jones on the Ukraine proxy war. The group who compiled this list is tied to the U.S. State Department, USAID, CIA and George Soros. I don't know that that's true, but the list does exist.
There's a website where you can search for names and it compiles statements and videos where it says you are basically an enemy of Ukraine. Now, I don't know if this guy's murder was related to that. And I'm going to just default with probably not. Guys, as much as it is terrible, it may really just be he was walking home and some guy said, give me everything you got. And he said no. And the guy went bang, bang.
But you know, there's a lot of people out there don't believe in coincidences. Don't believe in coincidences. This is a message from sponsor Intuit TurboTax. The Postal Plano goes on to say White, who was working late at the InfoWars studio Sunday night, was found at his home just a few miles from the studio. Jamie loved to fight tyranny, loved to fight freedom, said Jones. White was pronounced dead in the hospital. Quote,
When you see the Soros DAs in control of over 800 jurisdictions protecting serious narcotic and human trafficking rings, and you see different feds in ICE calling in warnings for the most violent gangs in the world that there are ICE raids coming. Pam Bondi saying they're preparing to indict some of these people that there are so many communist traitors in government that they're doing polygraphs. This is a crisis. Defunding the police. All of this has has has been to destabilize society.
Jones also highlighted how Austin police force had been defunded and how the Austin mayor lied about this. He did a press conference bragging. This is Jose Garza, literally in a Zoom meeting, calls the other Zoom meeting calls other city employees comrades. So just look at this guy.
He's doing exactly what he was put in by Soros to do. I lay all of this square at the feet of these DAs and the Soros crime syndicate, Jones continued, also pinning it on the Democratic Party. They're the ones who administratively cut the police, prosecute the police, and even cases that are 100% clear to me, waffle legal activities. And then you wonder why we can't get enough police and there's giant shortages. And you wonder why the quality goes down.
Despite Austin being a war zone at night in many areas, the police were there in two minutes and got in the hospital in just 15 or 20. He was announced dead there. That service, you can't do your job when you don't have enough people. Now, I got to wonder, is the intention of the anarcho-tyranny to butter up and gut this country so that in the event of escalation of conflict, there's nothing to stop it? Or another way to put it, I suppose, is so that conflict escalates and you can't stop it.
What what happens when you have roving bands of violent criminals being released every single day? Anarcho tyranny, I suppose, is the lightest way to put it. So we have this story from The Independent, which adds a little bit more details to the story. Alex Jones has info was reporter Jamie White was fatally shot. Police have not yet confirmed identity of the victim who was found fatally shot.
Alex Jones has reported that a journalist for his website has been killed. So we did read all this. I think the update here is simply that that Jamie was shot and killed. And many people were saying that he was bleeding out or something. In fact, it's a tragic story. Is this I ask you guys now to comment for those that are watching or, you know, if you're watching live or otherwise, let me know what you think. If this is just a random act of violence or if this was intentional.
I don't know. Look, you know, they've been going after Alex Jones for a long time. And could this be a message? Could it be an attack of opportunity? I don't know, man. I keep saying that because part of me just says, how could a reporter for InfoWars leaving the studio have this happened, have this happen to them? And part of me wants to say, look, man, it's probably a robbery gone wrong. But I don't know. You know, one story I do have pulled up. Let me see if I can. I'll grab this one.
So Amaranth reveals husband for the first time to explain what happened when armed thieves attacked her. So I believe this was in Dallas, but we can actually I'm not entirely sure. I think they're in Dallas. And for those who don't know, this is a e-girl streamer, only fans, whatever. And three guys broke into her house trying to steal her crypto.
The story's actually really crazy. And the reason I'm highlighting this is because it happened recently. And I want to make sure I'm being reasonable, right? This is indicative of crime happens. And with these DAs, with the expansion of crime, you're going to get criminal action. So maybe, you know, Jamie was just someone was trying to mug him. Kind of hard to believe. Now, this story is pretty nuts. I'll give you the quick version because I don't really care to rehash it. But Amaranth says that she heard banging on her door. Her husband was in a different building. She called him.
And said, is that you? And he said, no. And she was on the phone with him when the door got bashed in and three guys came in demanding she turn over her crypto. The phone is on and her husband can hear what's happening. It's crazy. So she says, she gets an idea.
She has to go to the other room to get access to the crypto. So they make her run. She runs to the building where her husband is because they have more than one building on the property. She said she immediately hugs the wall and her husband just pulls out. He had a gun ready and just fired shooting the intruders, at least one of them. And they fled. I'm going to move on from this story. I'm only highlighting it because it is fair, in my opinion. And to make sure we're simply pointing out crime happens.
High profile crime happens. Celebrities personalities get targeted, too. And maybe this is just that's all it was. But let's jump to the next stories, because this is where I start to say, man, I don't know. I don't know if I believe it. Take a look at this from Como News. Fire burns for Tesla cyber trucks in Seattle's Sodo neighborhood. That's right. The terror attacks against Tesla owners is crazy.
Four Tesla Cybertrucks were damaged or destroyed in a fire at a lot in Seattle's Soto neighborhood late Sunday night, raising questions about possible arson and the motive behind it. So the same weekend we see an Infowars reporter killed, we get targeted attacks on Tesla vehicles. There's a lot more to this, too. Listen to this.
The Seattle Fire Department has not yet said whether foul play was suspected as cause of the fire, which is under investigation. Seattle police and the ATF are also investigating the fire. I think it's silly to assume it was an accident. I don't think cyber trucks just burst into flames. Photos and video from a Seattle Department of Transportation traffic camera shows the moment the trucks went up in flames shortly after 11 p.m. Quote, that's when I saw some flickering. We came a little closer and I got maybe halfway here from where I was at and boom,
Big explosions, tall flames. Jay Fleming, who was out walking his dog when he saw the fire, said, one of these trucks just lit up by itself. So I called it in. Well, then maybe or maybe someone planted a device that would ignite after they were able to escape. This is the crazy thing. Again, make your assumptions. Did four cyber trucks spontaneously combust due to some kind of mechanical failure of these vehicles? Sure. Like to know, because I got one of those and I don't want to be sitting in if it goes up in flames.
Or, and this is much less likely in my opinion, have we entered into a degree of sophistication in the targeted terror attacks that they're using remote detonation incendiary devices? To be honest, remote detonation incendiary devices, not the most complicated thing for these psychopath terrorists.
At Fleming told Como News he did not see anyone else around. He called 911. At first it was flickering and then there was an explosion. The flames came up about eight to 10 feet and it was pretty bright. The lithium batteries themselves went up one after another popping and it's hard to put them out. The trucks were parked in a fenced lot near Second Avenue and Spokane Street with at least 50 other electric vehicles, which are held until they're ready to be dropped off at a dealership or picked up by a buyer.
So I don't know if we have some videos. We have video of the aftermath. You can see just torched Cybertrucks. ATF also on scene. I don't think this is a coincidence, my friends. Considering the attack on the dealerships, the shootings, the threats against Musk's life. Firefighters with flashlights arrived and put out the flames. Video from the Como Ford drone showed the aftermath. The SFD energy response team also responded to the case of possible fire hazards from the vehicle's lithium ion batteries.
Seattle fire investigators, along with members of the ATF, were at the scene Monday afternoon looking into the cause of the fire that damaged the vehicle. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. It raises questions about whether it could be connected to protests in the Pacific Northwest and across the nation against Tesla owner Elon Musk and his role in the Trump administration, while the Department of Government Efficiency cutting more than 62,000 federal jobs. Quote, it's not my approach.
It's not the approach of the people around me. David Hermanson, who has helped organize some of the local Tesla protests. It's just not the way we do things. And in some ways, I think it's not really helpful. I want people to see us as a peaceful movement. This is what they do. The far left entertains the diversity of tactics, they call it. So what we end up getting is these people who say, we're all about peace. We are peaceful protesters, my friends. Leave us alone. And then when the extremists come, they say, they're not with us.
But we're not going to stop him either. Yeah. Now, Elon Musk, we covered this yesterday. Let me pull up this tweet here. Elon Musk accused prominent billionaires of funding protests against them. And we have this tweet from Reid Hoffman that I'm going to pull up. So let me just stress before we dive into the much more serious stories. That is, if you're a Tesla owner and your vehicle was shot, how do you feel about owning a Tesla now?
In a more, I don't know, I guess like humorous part of the story, Donald Trump has come out saying Elon's taken one for the team. He's fighting for his country. So I'm going to go buy a Tesla. Trying to get everybody to go buy Teslas. I got three. I like Tesla vehicles. They're fantastic. And I'm a big fan of Elon. Certainly not a perfect guy. I always say that. But I'm a fan. I think it is great work. We've been nervous. Tesla owner speaks out after car damaged by gunfire.
And this was one of the questions that came up yesterday when we were talking about escalation of war or violence. Are they just attacking dealerships or are they actually attacking the owners of Tesla vehicles? Now, these vehicles were parked at a Tesla dealership and they were shot up. So it's not like it was a random Tesla driving down the street. They targeted a dealership.
However, there have been numerous stories of Tesla vehicles being lightly vandalized. And I say lightly because we just talked about arson. No, people getting windows smashed and the cars keyed and things like that. So we will get into this. But I want to show you this tweet from Reid Hoffman. Elon Musk says, let me pull up Elon's tweet first. Sorry. An investigation has found five ActBlue funded groups responsible for Tesla protests.
Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise and Resist, Indivisible Project and the Democratic Socialists of America. ActBlue funders include Soros, Reid Hoffman, Herbert Sandler, Patricia Bowman and Leah Hunt Hendricks. ActBlue is currently under investigation for allowing foreign and illegal donations in criminal violation of campaign finance regulations. This week, seven ActBlue senior officials resigned, including the Associate General Counsel.
If you know anything about this, please post in the replies. Reid Hoffman, major Democrat donor, has replied, saying just one more of Elon's false claims about me. I never funded anyone for Tesla protests. Bang right there. I could tell he's lying. No, no, hold on. Hold on.
Elon did not say that Reid Hoffman paid protests, paid people to protest. He said this guy has provided money to ActBlue and money from ActBlue has gone to these protests. You see what Elon is saying is the origin of these funds comes from prominent billionaires and then funnels down to these various protest movements, these nonprofits. Reid Hoffman says I never funded anyone for Tesla protests. Oh, OK, OK.
Are you saying you did fund some of these nonprofits, which then paid people to protest? He says, I don't condone violence, but it's clear Americans are angry at him. It's easier to explain away the anger than to accept the action that actions have consequences. Let's take a look at these community notes. Read often as a major funder of the indivisible of indivisible, the group organizing and financing Tesla protests. Is that true? Well, we got this tweet from Canico with a great, which is a fact check, it says.
Kenneco the Great says Reid Hoffman denies funding the Tesla protests. It is a major funder of Indivisible, a group actively funding and organizing anti-Musk demonstrations at Tesla showrooms, factories and dealerships, events that have led to widespread vandalism. I'm going to pause right there, buddy. At this point, terrorism, firebombing and shooting up buildings ain't not vandalism, my friends.
Indivisible explicitly offers reimbursements of up to $200 for groups staging protests against Musk at Tesla locations. Their Musk or Us campaign urges activists to take the fight to Elon and Tesla showrooms, factories, and dealerships providing detailed protest kits with printable signs and stickers. These materials label Musk a Muskrat, authoritarian, king, and traitor, even depicting a Tesla Cybertruck engulfed in flames. I wonder why people would be engaged in burning up
Tesla vehicles shooting them up. Could it be Reid Hoffman and these other big Democrat donors are a part of the oh, won't someone rid me of this priest camp? Now, I don't know if Reid Hoffman knows anything about this, but it certainly appears based on what we're seeing. Here's a guy who says, here's a bunch of money NGO. Oh, won't someone rid me of this meddlesome electric car space mogul?
For those who aren't familiar, it's the famous story of the king. What's his face? It's been a long time. But he's like, oh, won't someone rid me of this priest? And then the two knights go out and they murder the priest and everyone gets mad. Was it? No, it wasn't a king. I don't think so. It was a lord or something. And they were like, you did this. And he was like, I did not tell them to do this. And they were like, you may as well have. They go on to say one sign features Musk and Trump on a king of spades card. Their faces scratched out and read the slogan. No kings.
Hoffman's organization, Investing in U.S., has been widely reported, including by The New York Times, as a key financial supporter of Indivisible. So how can Hoffman claim he never funded the Tesla protests? Because it is, how do you say, only technically the truth. And of course, technically true is the best kind of true.
Indivisible says Elon Musk is using his wealth to seize government power for personal gain. This goes beyond politics. It's billionaire driven authoritarianism and corporate overreach. We're fighting back and protesting at Tesla locations nationwide. Demand accountability. Well, there's Indivisible. The Tesla town hall take the fight to Elon. Why Elon Musk? To fight back, we have to meet Musk where he operates across the country at Tesla showrooms, factories and dealerships. No, he doesn't. You think it goes to dealerships?
Indivisible project can reimburse groups for eligible expenses up to $200 per group directly paying protesters. It's right there in front of your eyes, ladies and gentlemen. Don't you ignore it. Indivisible says Musk or us congressional recess from the Indivisible digital asset management. And you've got a picture of a of a Cybertruck and it's on fire. You've also got no kings, Musk or us and GTFO Elon. Which side are you on? Musk or us?
Sounds like a very light threat. No kings with their faces scratched out. Similar. It's all very light. But a cyber truck on fire. That's awfully specific. Here's a story I just mentioned a moment ago. Tesla owners having bullets lodged into their vehicles. Now, here's a scary thing. You know, in the movies, you ever see the last action hero with Arnold Schwarzenegger?
And it's about a kid who gets a magic ticket that when you rip it, you can go into the movie. How fun is that? And he goes into this film where Arnold is a cop. Arnold is a cop. And he brings him out into the real world.
There's this famous scene. It's really funny where the bad guy gets in the cabin is driving away. And then Arnold's character, I don't know the guy's name. He's like, I'll take care of it. He points the gun and he shoots the back. Today, we spoke to a man who wishes to remain anonymous, but says his Tesla was among those damaged at the. I'll let that play in a second. I hate I hate these local affiliate websites because they autoplay all the time. But anyway, my point was he shoots the taxi and then nothing happens. And
And he thought it was going to explode. People think vehicles blow up because movies show someone shooting the car and the car explodes. Lithium ion batteries, on the other hand, those blow up. They don't blow up in the same way like a concussive explosion.
If you've ever seen a punctured lithium ion battery, it sprays fire through rapid oxidization and then bursts into flames. But anyway, let's actually play this video. And I want to take this opportunity to say I cannot stand local affiliate websites. I rarely use them because they autoplay randomly everything.
Like they just did. And that being said, here's the clip. Today we spoke to a man who wishes to remain anonymous but says his Tesla was among those damaged at the Tigard store this past week. He says he took his vehicle in to get the windshield replaced only to have that replacement damaged by gunfire. Wow. He says he's been following the vandalism at Tesla stores and was worried something like this might happen.
We've been nervous driving the car and uncomfortable even having it parked out in front of our house. We have taken the steps of covering the car at night. Seemed like at the time when we got the car, it was more of a left-wing or left-leaning person's car.
The group behind today's demonstration into visible greater Vancouver said they do not condone acts of vandalism or of violence. Adding these actions aren't conducive to the kind of change they're pushing for. Lies. Sorry, man. You can't put up pictures of flaming cyber trucks and then be surprised that when you go out and say Elon Musk is evil and it's him or us.
You're then surprised that in your area where you are protesting, somebody shot up a bunch of vehicles.

Your friend and jeweler. Now, the funny thing is, he said when he bought the vehicle, it seemed like something a left wing person might have. Ladies and gentlemen, we're at the point where the far left is now setting fire to electric vehicles. Oh, man. How about that? Here we go. A Tesla owner who wished to remain anonymous said his car was among those damaged by gunfire at a Tiger dealership last week, leaving him concerned about owning an electric vehicle. We've been nervous driving the car, uncomfortable even having it parked out in front of our house. We have taken the steps of covering the car at night.
Jeez, man. Did they just auto-play again? We begin this afternoon on KGW News at 4 with a live look tomorrow. We're going to just close that website because they keep doing that. But yeah, my friends, this is the reality. And unfortunately, it seems like it's escalating. And the worst part is those annoying local news websites, even after I turned the video off, had a different player that played another auto video. And then I'm like, where's the sound coming from? Close. But it's not just the vehicles.
Elon Musk under attack. Full list of alleged threats against the tech mogul. This is from a couple weeks ago, two weeks ago. Yeah, this has been going on for some time now. So I don't think it's a coincidence that people are setting fire to cyber trucks, shooting up Teslas. Here's some regular guy who bought an electric car and they put a bullet in it. Fortunately, nobody was inside. But is this any different from the weather underground?
Now, some people have made those connections. The Weather Underground largely engaged in shock and awe campaigns. There was the incident where I was at. They're robbing a bank and they killed the guy. But largely the attacks they'd engage in were at night when people weren't around because they were trying to engage in serious disruption. We're there. We are there. My friends, this is it.
We don't know who's doing it. We may like we have a general idea of who's associated with it. We may get the information some point in the future. For the time being, Tesla dealerships are having bombs placed at them. They are being shot up. They are being generally vandalized. Elon Musk is being threatened. Let's grab this story from Newsweek. But before we do, my friends, smash that like button. Smash it.
Share the show with everyone you know. And one thing you can get me for my birthday, which was just two days ago, is share this show. Like I said, share with everyone you know. From Newsweek. They say, recently, revealed texts show that Elon Musk, who's leading the Doge, is deeply worried about assassination attempts. There have been a number of alleged threats against Musk's life and property recently because of his close association with Trump. There have been a number of alleged threats to Musk's life, including...
Indiana State Police said in a statement this month that a 28 year old David Allen June Cherry is facing one felony count of intimidation. Cherry owns an online store called Red Pond Dynamics, which sells communist, anarchist and political themed merchandise. I just like to pause and say anarchism and communism are like antithetical to each other. You know, it's kind of hilarious. These people have no idea what they're talking about.
He allegedly made threats over several months in posts that were replies to Musk's social media comments. According to prosecutors, Cherry is alleged to have commented on X. I'm going to not read what he said, okay? Because I don't, yeah, yeah. Basically, outright saying he's going to harm Elon Musk. So, yeah.
He has a GoFundMe setup, which raised $4,000 for his legal defense. Look at that. The GoFundMe page states that Sherry was arrested on bogus allegations. He did nothing more than voice an opinion on social media. Sure, he did. Alleged threats to a data center, exploding Tesla truck, and of course, everything else that we've seen. So yeah.
Elon was talking about this on Joe Rogan, and he said, the amount of death threats you get is proportional to the amount of times people say your name. And he's very famous. Now, aside from the physical stuff, yesterday we saw that X was down and Rumble, they were both under cyber attacks. And the corporate press is running cover for the extremists. Now, what we know is that
Elon Musk said they faced a massive cyber attack, which was much more sophisticated than some ragtag group could have pulled off. So he assumed that it was a special interest group or country. And the IP addresses pointed to Ukraine. That doesn't mean Ukraine did it. But one by one, the corporate press ran out and started claiming that it was a low level activist action against X, which shut it down.
B.S. 100 percent B.S. I tell you this now, my friends. No way. Not true. X doesn't just go down because of a run of the mill D.D.O.S. attack. That's distributed denial of service attack, which is rudimentary at best and largely can't affect a site like Twitter X, which has 350 million users and needs to handle billions of requests per second, probably.
I mean, people are tweeting left and right at each other, sending DMs. And you've got viewers who aren't even users. Here's one from the BBC. Quote.
We're not sure exactly what happened, but there was a massive cyber attack to try and bring down the X system with IP addresses originating in the Ukraine area. Now, that quote isn't Elon saying Ukraine did it. He's just telling you the facts. However, Ciaran Martin, am I pronouncing that right? Professor at Oxford University's Blavatnik School of Government told BBC the explanation was wholly unconvincing and pretty much garbage. I'm going to pause real quick and just I want you all to ask this question. Why is a professor...
At the School of Government, an expert on this, they say, Professor Martin, former head of the UK's National Cyber Security Center, says it looks as if X was targeted by what's known as a distributed denial of service attack, where hackers flood a server with internet traffic to prevent users from connecting to a website. He's lying. This man is lying to you. I'm going to say it again. He is a liar. He is lying to you. That's what they've been doing. Because I can break it down for you, and I can give you some logic. Let's try.
He says, it's not that sophisticated. It's a very old technique. I can't think of a company of the size and standing internationally of X that's fallen over to a DDoS attack for a very long time. He said the incident at X doesn't reflect well on their cybersecurity. Let me pause for a second. Homie can't think of a company of this size and standing that's fallen to a DDoS attack in a long time. Then why would the assumption be that X fell to a DDoS attack? Now,
stands to reason that Elon is correct. Let me tell you this. For those that don't know, and I think most of you do, but forgive me if you already know what it means because I talked about it last night. Distributed denial of service is when a denial of service attack is when a computer makes as many requests as possible. Requests. It literally says it rings your doorbell. So it's hitting an IP address with your computer's telephone number effectively.
And his phone's ringing off the hook so much, nobody can call you and you can't answer it. That's denial of service. Distributed denial of service is when you get 10 of your buddies to all start spamming a phone number at the same time, so it's even harder to answer the phone. Nothing gets through.
Typically, DDoS attacks are done through botnets. These are a large group of computers that are infected with a virus so they can be remotely controlled by a central computer or server and give them a command and they all will fire away. Imagine you had 100 phones at your desk and you clicked one button. Every phone called one phone number. Ain't nobody's going to be able to talk to that person on that phone. X has, I believe the estimate is 350 million users. Let me get the hard number for you guys.
How many X users? I think it's 350. Could be more. Could be less. I don't know. Let's see. Our asking our friend ChetchyPT and their assessment is 429 million. Wow. Holy crap. Some estimates put it at 540 million. However, active daily users. These are people who every day are posting at least once 245 million. Okay. Let's entertain this.
This means that X can handle more than, I don't know what, 10 billion queries per second. Think about think about the amount of doorbells this place is going to need. You got 245 million people who are posting at least once a day. Most people are posting more than that. Or actually, it's around 20 percent. It's about 40, 50 million are posting more than they post several times a day.
This means with people opening their apps, reading posts, you are at least getting, I mean, with 245 million active users, 245 million queries in a single day, double that, triple that, et cetera. How many posts per second? And I got to clarify, a single post, not a query. Every time you open a tweet, every time you open a DM, every time you refresh your feed, every time the app auto refreshes and loads new posts.
This app must handle 10 billion queries, maybe 10 million, 10 billion per day. So to what degree of DDoS do you need to shut it down? That's sophisticated. And then, of course, the corporate press trots out and says this hasn't happened to a large company in a very long time, but now it is happening. And X is bad at security. Wouldn't that logic, good sir, be indicative of a state level actor?
How is this guy going to come out and say, no, no, it's not a state level actor, but boy, regular old DDSs have not hit companies like this in a real long time. You see the game they're playing. They're lying. Rumble also said that they were hit by a DDoS attack just the other day. We are live on Rumble right now. Unsurprising. They're not going to back down and they're not going to let Rumble win. But Rumble has to win, my friends. Rumble has to because YouTube plays dirty games.
The front page of YouTube is typically loaded with garbage that doesn't keep people informed, and that's the intention. And then you've got the stock, Elon Musk's very bad day, the dramatic escalations, the constitutional crisis. I want to briefly go over this before we jump into what Ray Dalio has to say about civil war and what we're currently looking at.
Are we headed for a constitutional crisis? Kennedy School scholars on the Trump administration and the rule of law. Experts see an unprecedented challenge to the rule of law and to constitutional norms and ponder the courts and other institutions will respond. Here's the story for you. I got a larger segment for you all on Mahmoud Khalil coming up at noon.
This is a, for those who don't know, this guy was one of the organizers of the anti-Israel protests at universities across the country. This man has been, he's a green card holder, permanent resident, and he was arrested and is facing deportation. The left said that he was disappeared in the middle of the night. He wasn't. He was arrested.
But does it matter? Again, I've got a segment on this. It's much longer. Let me just say this. The left is saying Trump is threatening to deport and disappear people who speak out against him and Israel. And while the right is largely divided on this, many on the right are saying this guy has no right to be in this country and protest illegally and literally like you can't obstruct and take over buildings. Taking over a building is a serious crime. So he should be deported.
The issue at play right now is not to debate that issue, because again, another segment coming up. It's to point out the divide exists. And the view is that Trump is acting like a fascist dictator. And that's where we're currently at. We have this from Democracy Now. Mahmoud Khalil was, quote, abducted before his wife's very eyes and disappeared. OK, he got arrested and he's in jail. He wasn't disappeared. They're saying that because these people are psychotic. I just they're nuts.
But that's what they do. Disappeared. Trump is a fascist dictator. They arrested the guy. Calm down. I can't stand these people, dude. They're insane. But I want to go to this story as we round out this morning show. The Coming Great Conflict by Ray Dalio. He wrote this in June of 24th.
Dalio is an investor and the founder of Bridgewater Associates. He is the author of Principles, Life and Work, Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order, and Principles for Navigating Big Debt Crises. The views expressed below are his own, not Bridgewater's. He writes...
As you know, based on my study of history, I believe there are now and have been always been five big interrelated forces that drive how domestic and world orders change. They are one big debt and credit money cycles, the big internal order and disorder cycle, the big external order and disorder cycle, acts of nature, droughts, floods, pandemics, and five human innovation that leads to advances in technology,
Today, I am focused on why I believe we are approaching the point in the internal order disorder cycle when you will have to choose between picking a side and fighting for it, keeping your head down or fleeing. Oh, yeah. This conversation's been had quite a bit, my friends, but certainly I believe it is fair to say sooner or later you're going to have to pick a side, keep your head down and flee. Now, I'll give you this before I read a little bit. Keeping your head down, you're basically saying I'm going to sit here until tomorrow.
Until you lose your life. Keeping your head down isn't an option. It's what cowards do. They hide, they refuse to speak up, and they believe that if I just don't say anything, I will survive. Okay. Well, to be fair, many of you may, depending on what happens.
It's not like literally every German citizen was wiped out with the rise of Nazis or with the advance of the Allied forces and the crushing of the German government. That being said, those that were on East Germany on that side certainly did not live very well after the fact. They kept their heads down. Those that fled and fled to the United States or to other countries didn't have to deal with that. That being said, those that fled to Argentina also didn't have to deal with it. But that's a whole other story. Easy enough, though. I mean, yeah, fleeing. Maybe that's you.
He writes, I believe we now have to face the fact that fighting for democracy as we know it with thoughtful disagreement and compromises governed by rule of law is unlikely to work. People like me who had a long shot hope for the emergence of a strong middle that fights against the extremists to bring the country together and makes major reforms to improve the system must recognize the differences are becoming too irreconcilable for this to happen. I'm going to pause, Ray. I'm going to pause. We are the middle. We are the middle. This is what I can't stand.
The middle chose a side and chose rationality. The left has gone insane. They have no cause. They have no logic. They have no internal moral structure or principles on the right, which has disaffected and post liberals, libertarians, Trump supporters, neocons. And boy, do we fight with those guys. Don't forget, a lot of neocons fled to the Democratic Party because they love war. I'm loving the Bill Kristol pro trans arc. That's hilarious.
But on the right side, you have disagreement and debate. There is principle. There is logic. We are arguing with each other all the time. On the left, there is blind zealotry that makes literally no sense. Spaceman bad. Orange man bad. That's it. They say the right is a cult because they like Trump. People rag on Trump all the time.
Right now, the left can't seem to understand why we're all posting memes making fun of J.D. Vance. We're ribbing on the guy. It's funny. It makes you laugh. And J.D. Vance is in on it. Nobody hates him. It's just funny. Pick your side, I suppose.
Ray keeps saying, I was hoping there'd be a middle. There's not going to be a middle ground when you go to a leftist and say, hey, look, man, I just don't think this graphic book should be given to kids. And they say it should. And you're like, what is wrong with you? Bro, I'm not talking about mass deportations right now. I'm not talking about abolishing the government. I'm not talking about abolishing the FBI. I'm literally saying just don't give these gross books to kids. And the left says no.
We're like, OK, we got ourselves a disagreement because policy wise, you want to talk about taxes? We can all get along. The Democrats come out and say tax more and we go tax less. And then every few years it goes back and forth. And we can live with that because the rate of taxes is irksome, but not apocalyptic.
But now we are facing a cultural existential crisis where the left is outright saying men should be in women's sports. And when you had a video of a male volleyball player bashing a teenage girl in the face, a prominent liberal podcaster posted the video saying, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
This is irreconcilable, but they are not the middle. They're a fringe cult that believes psychotic things that are based not in logic, but in whatever the cult says. On the right, you have Donald Trump right now today saying we should primary Thomas Massey. And then you've got many people coming out and being like, no, Trump, you're wrong. Thomas Massey rocks.
The left is largely cultish. It's to varying degrees. But let's just say this. On the right, you've got 30% culty people. They'll agree with Trump no matter what. On the left, you have 30% slightly not culty, but they're too scared to speak up because the cult will take their jobs away. Dalio says.
Based on the lessons I learned from studying history about how things typically transpire under similar circumstances, I believe that what we're seeing now is the parties increasingly moving to greater extremism and a fight to win at all cost mode. This is threatening the rule of law as we know it and is bringing us closer to some form of civil war. As I will explain below, this is not necessarily a violent conflict that's possible.
When I wrote my book, Principles for Dealing with the Changing World Order, which I looked at the rises and declines of domestic and world orders over the last 500 years, I chronicled the six stages of the big internal order to cycle. Their symptoms and the cause affect relationships that drive them. Just like life cycles, these stages are logical and everyone goes through them, typically about once in a lifetime. Toward the end of the cycle, which is where all the signs and symptoms show us to be today, people typically face a choice between fighting for one side or another, keeping their heads down or fleeing.
When I wrote the book in 2020, I saw the writing on the wall, but I'd hoped for the possibility that we would not cross the brink into some type of into a type of civil war. So I estimated the chance was about one in three. At the time, this was considered a crazy high estimate. This is before the 2020 election being contested and January 6th. Now, I think the risk is uncomfortably more than 50 percent. And I am confident that the next year we will know the answer to whether we cross the brink. Well, good, sir. It's been almost a year since you wrote this.
It has been nine months, I believe. And what we're looking at now is they are shooting up and torching Tesla dealerships and cars, threatening to murder people across social media. Support for Luigi Mangione is skyrocketing. Do we have this story pulled up right here? Luigi pro Luigi Mangione content is filling up social media platforms, and it's a challenge to moderate. Here's the issue I take. You know, we should see if we can get Ray Dalio on the culture war. And I have a sit down with him and let him just explain a lot of the stuff. And then I'll give him my views.
If your job at a healthcare facility includes disinfecting against viruses, you know prevention is the best medicine. And maintaining healthy spaces starts with a healthy cleaning routine. Granger, for the ones who get it done. When he says both sides are engaged in extremism, let me tell you this. Was it Donald Trump in 2016 who started trying to arrest Democrats? It wasn't. Was it Donald Trump in, and I should say in 20s after the 2016 election. So when Donald Trump won in 2016, became president for that term, did he try to arrest Democrats? Did he create concentration camps? No.
Did he round up protesters? No. Did he invoke the Insurrection Act and go and arrest a bunch of these far leftists who are firebombing buildings? No.
Let's try this during Trump's term. Was the far left that was firebombing buildings? Yes. Did they ransack D.C. on May 29th? And did they ransack large small towns all across the country, resulting in 30 plus deaths for political reasons? Yeah, that yeah, that was that was the left largely. Did they firebomb a federal building for over 100 days?
literally lobbing explosives and fighting with cops. Yeah, that was the left. Did the mayor join them? Yeah, he did. Huh? Uh-huh. Did they create autonomous zones where people were brutally murdered? Yep. Yeah, they did that. Did a far left extremist put two bullets in the chest of a Trump supporter walking down the street in Portland? Yeah, that happened. Man. Wow.
Where were the Trump supporters going around doing any of this stuff? Oh, that's right. Jussie Smollett, when the two guys in MAGA hats in Chicago in a non-residential area, walked up to a guy at two in the morning in freezing temperatures and said, this MAGA country and splashed him with bleach from a Tabasco bottle and put a string from a hardware store in the shape of a noose around his neck. And then when Jussie Smollett called the police, he was still wearing it. He was wearing it.
And then he got arrested and it was largely proven. I say largely because I don't actually know he was convicted, wasn't he? Yeah. A hoax as it were. So I got to say, when Ray Dalio says it's getting more and more extreme, it's it's not. You still have the same old people like me saying, chill the F out.
And you have the left escalating calls for violence and engaging in violence. The right is not getting more extreme at all. Now you can say, what do you mean, Tim? Trump and Doge are going and gutting the government and doing these things. This is not them getting more extreme. This is Donald Trump's administration reacting to the left being extreme.
When they are trying to imprison Donald Trump, when they have arrested his lawyers for simply representing him, and they did, I stress Jenna Ellis, despite the fact that she's a coward, that's fine. All she did was represent Trump as a lawyer, and they criminally charged her under RICO and forced her to confess. And like the coward she is, she did. She shouldn't have.
So, Ray, you say both sides are getting more extreme, but it's just not the case. There's no roving bands of right wingers torching buildings. It's not real. The left will point to fringe extremist groups and say that proves it. But on the left, you have the overt defense. So when Patriot Front grows out, all the conservatives are like, screw that, they're feds. On January 6th, the people who are calling for storming the Capitol building, everyone screamed they were feds.
Don't get me wrong. A lot of regular people on the right were involved in J6 in the riot portion, and they should go to jail. Who on the right is saying none of them should have been criminally charged for attacking cops? All of the sentiment was basically like if you attack cops, you go to jail. You see, the right has been reasonable the whole time, and the Democrats in the far left have been completely unreasonable and unhinged the whole time. And Ray, you say that it's becoming more extreme on both sides. It's not.
He goes on to say domestically in the U.S., there are two political sides, which are also each divided into two. The right, right Republican team divided into the hard right and the moderate right and the left, the blue Democratic team, which divided into the hard left and the moderate left. Wrong.
But sure, throughout history, in the later stages of the cycle of eternal order and disorder, both sides become increasingly hard, extreme for logical reasons. This is the part of the cycle we are in. Classically, at this stage, wealth and values gaps are large. People have lost faith. The system will get them what they want. And the hard right and the hard left become increasingly committed to winning for their constituents at all costs.
which eventually means abandoning the rules of the game. First, the left has been doing this for a long time, not the right. And the right is only responding with some kind of calls for accountability. So if you want to say that the right is escalating its tactics against the left, I accept that. If you want to say both sides are becoming more extreme, I say you are completely wrong. Donald Trump is not doing anything more extreme. He's simply responding to the left.
In Trump's first term, did he build a 30 foot concrete wall? No, he said it. But they ended up putting up a select bollard fencing and securing certain areas. Guess what? Democratic politicians 10 years prior had called for the exact same thing, including Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. Certainly not the right becoming more extreme. Every graph tracking political ideology has shown the left shootings to the left and the right staying basically where it is or even moving a little to the left. He was going to say.
You have to choose to keep your head down or flee to make this decision only a bit more extreme than it currently is. I'm looking at these two sides. If you had to choose between a fascist government, a communist government, who would you choose? The only issue is there's no fascist government. Where is it? Donald Trump in his first term would not even invoke the Insurrection Act, which is not fascist. It is within his executive branch authority to do. And he didn't do it. And they say he's a fascist. He's extreme.
If you are not knowledgeable about what fascism is, a dictatorship of the hard right, and what communism is, a dictatorship of the hard left, I urge you to get schooled because if you had to make choices, it's really important to understand them. Oh, boy. I'd love to have a conversation with Ray. I'll see if we can book him for culture war.
Fascism is typically described as an ultra nationalistic authoritarian system rooted in hard moral tradition, whereas communism is an economic left system. Both are to varying degrees command economies, meaning central authorities control the economies. Communism typically revolves around the state controlling all resources, deciding how they get divvied up. Fascism does not.
But I'll explain. Communism is associated with the destruction and the purge of moral traditions and progressivism. So if you take a look at the conflicts in World War Two, the fascists are authoritarian, moralistic, moral traditionalists.
And they're not overtly seizing control of the economy. But through these hard pressures, they do enforce this and people get arrested without charge or trial and due process. It's a dictatorship. We are not seeing that under Donald Trump at all. Now, maybe you fear that may happen.
Under the Democrats, we have seen the other side of things. There's no logic to what they're doing. They say climate change. So they give hundreds of billions of dollars to their cronies and their allies in Loudoun County, Virginia, and the surrounding areas of Maryland, various counties. They're they're torching and burning up electric vehicles while claiming climate change is coming.
The left does seem to be communistic in many of the activists like the Democratic Socialists of America are calling for it. There is no Republican fascists of America organizing body trying to implement fascism. It does not exist. You have simply people saying, hey, the left has gone too far.
That's it. Guess what? Republicans still at about 48 percent support gay marriage. How about that for fascists? So how about when the entire unified Republican Party is anti-gay and anti-trans to the point of zero support? You could argue they've become more extreme. He was going to make several points, but I'll just come to his conclusion. And oh, boy, take a look at this. We don't need to see that class warfare, the loss of truth in the public domain.
Run rule following fades and raw fighting begins late in stage five, increasing numbers of protests that become increasingly violent because there's not always a clear line between healthy protests and beginnings of revolution. Leaders in power often struggle over how to allow protests without giving the perceived freedom to revolt against the system. Indeed, we're not quite there yet, but we may be getting there soon, especially when people are shooting up Tesla dealerships when there are civil wars.
Civil wars inevitably happen. So rather than assuming it won't happen here, which most people in countries assume after an extended period of not having them, it is better to be wary of them and look for the markers. While in the last section, we looked at nonviolent revolutions that took place within the order. In this section, we'll look at the markers and the patterns of civil wars and revolutions that were almost always violent and toppled the old order and placed it with a new one. Take a look at this. This really is an excellent article. And based on what we've seen so far, I recommend you guys check it out and read the full thing.
I'd love to have a conversation with Ray if we can get him booked, but they say it's adapted from Principles for Dealing with and Changing World Order by Ray Dalio, 2021. Interesting. But if we can get people to be active participants and paying attention to the world around them and fighting for what they believe in, even if it is just having a conversation, then we are going to win 2026, 2028. We don't want to lose momentum. We don't want people to forget why they voted in 2024.
We want everyone to stay active in this battle. And I mean, politically, right? Vote so that we don't let this fall into the worst stages, the worst vices, etc. Now, you may be saying, but what can I contribute?
You know, honestly, man, the point of communication and connection is because you may not realize that you have an idea that no one's considered. You come into our Discord server chat room. Someone says something and you post a couple sentences where you say, I feel like no one's considering X, Y and Z. And instantly people start arguing it. And then they start saying, you know what? You're right. We never actually considered that could be a factor here. And maybe that's the only contribute contribution you ever have. But from there,
You influence people who influence people who influence people. And that tiny drop in a puddle becomes a tsunami on the other side of the world. Smash that like button, my friends. Share the show. We got more segments coming up. So stick around. Thanks for hanging out. And we will see you all at noon. And we'll be talking about that Mahmoud Khalil guy. Again, thanks for hanging out. We'll see you all then.
Mahmoud Khalil, one of the organizers of the anti-Israel protest across universities last year, has been arrested and is facing deportation. The Israel Critical Right says this is a violation of 1A. The Constitution protects even immigrants.
The reason why they're saying this, this guy is a permanent resident and green card holder. He is not some temporary tourist visa individual or illegal immigrant. This man lives in this country, was protesting Israel and now faces deportation. The big news, of course, is that a judge has temporarily blocked the effort to deport the Palestinian activist who helped lead the Columbia student protests.
Now, the right is divided into two camps. You've got one side saying immigrants, green card, legal, whatever, do not get to obstruct, to protest, to break the law in an effort to influence our country and our foreign policy. Now, this is not an instance of a guy holding a meeting at a university. These were protests that were deemed to be illegal. And I can already hear the left and I can already hear the Israel critical right saying protests aren't illegal. Yes, they are.
You're allowed protest, but there are certain protests that are not considered to be peaceably peaceable assembly, as it were. Now, I'm not trying to I'm just doing the intro, guys. Calm down. I'm not arguing for guys. I'm saying outright that if you are peaceably in a peaceable assemble with a with a permit or not a permit, you don't need a permit to gather. That's the Constitution is a permit. And let's say you're standing in the grass somewhere in a public place.
They'll try and play games and they'll say, oh, it's illegal. No, that's BS. You're allowed to do it. However, if you bar yourself in a building, if you fight with cops, if you block a street, that becomes unlawful assembly as it is not considered peaceable. You are actually breaking the law. The founding father's intention for the right to peaceably assemble was gathering places to speak that the king couldn't arrest you for. In this instance, the protests we saw across universities were
Were, I would say, to varying degrees, very illegal. Right. You had people barricading themselves in buildings, chaining and occupying and shutting spaces down. I mean, it was rather serious. So this is not some dude who just stood in the grass holding a sign. That being said, it's a permanent resident.
Do we have a right to say, even with what is... Let's be real. It's not the worst crime in the world to protest a university, even if they are barricading themselves in schools. It's not like he went and beat people or anything like that. However...
At these protests, people were attacked. Jewish students were attacked. Now, are we going to deport this guy for leading that protest because of the actions of others? This is where everything gets very contentious. And Democrats find themselves aligned with the Israel critical right. Now, on the other side of the right wing side, they're basically saying, don't know, don't care. Immigrants don't get no special favors.
So let's break this story down because it actually is a particularly interesting argument as to what we are seeing with this activist. The question at play is, was he pro Hamas or was he simply anti-Israel? Because there's this difference. If this man was providing material support to Hamas, which is actually a U.S. designated terrorist organization, then there are questions around whether or not he can be deported that are much more serious because we've talked about it.
Last year, we said a lot of these people in New York and in D.C. and these other protest locations that were explicitly pro Hamas were providing. Well, to a certain degree, we're providing some kind of support to a designated terrorist organization. But I think there's a lot of people in the Israel critical right that do not care at all.
So this is where it gets really interesting. I'll tell you right off the bat, as we get started, my view outside of this, we had this discussion a couple... Actually, this is really interesting because last week we had this debate. I do not believe...
Non-citizens should have a right to try and influence our government in our country. There's questions around why 1A would apply to non-citizens, and that is because if the government has the pretext to stop anyone engaged in free speech activities, like literally you're holding a sign on the sidewalk, which is legal.
They could just go, we don't know if you're a citizen or not, so we're detaining you and shutting you down until we can figure things out. I don't like that idea. The police shouldn't be able to just obstruct the citizens, you know, holding of a sign or peaceably assembling. That being said, cops are allowed to detain people who are suspected of a crime. If you can suspect someone of a crime because you think they may not be a citizen, it's going to affect literally everyone and it's going to punch a hole in the Fourth Amendment.
So this is where it gets weird. But let's break this story down. Before I get started, my friends, head over to castbrew.com, of course. I don't think I ever pulled it up. Well, we got the Green Room show. You can go to rumble.com slash timcast IRL. Check out the Green Room podcast. Yesterday was really interesting. You really got to check out Ben Davidson, Green Room yesterday, because we were talking about the magnetic pole shift and the end of the sun and how by 2040 it could be the end of days.
It could be not literally, but there will be a dramatic pole shift. The earth will shift. And this is what Ben Davidson was talking about, that Antarctica and Greenland are going to find themselves at the equator. He said the North Hemisphere, Northern Hemisphere becomes Southern Hemisphere.
Very interesting. Definitely check it out. Rumble.com slash Timcast IRL. And of course, Cast Brew. You got to get Cast Brew coffee. It's delicious. Everybody agrees. Ian's Graphene Dream, unfortunately, sold out because you guys weren't fast enough or you were too fast, whichever. But you can get Appalachian Nights, which is still our principally all-time bestseller, despite the fact Ian has been taking it up by storm.
Let's jump back to this story. And what do we have right here from CNN? Judge temporarily blocks effort to deport Palestinian activists who helped lead Columbia student protests. A federal judge in New York has blocked any efforts by President Donald Trump's administration to deport Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian activist at Columbia University, who was arrested Saturday night until a conference Wednesday, according to court documents. It's unclear whether he will appear in court on Wednesday. Quote.
To preserve the court's jurisdiction pending a ruling on the petition, petitioners shall not be removed from the U.S. unless and until the court orders otherwise. Khalil, who helped lead Colombia's student protest movement demanding a ceasefire in Gaza, was arrested Saturday night by federal immigration authorities who said they were acting on a State Department order to revoke his green card.
His arrest is the latest escalation by Trump and what he calls the first arrest of many to come. I'm going to pause and just say without calling out directly some of these liberals, because I got to be honest, some of my friends are posting this stuff, but they're look, I say it all the time. These liberals lie. But I have a lot of friends who are liberals. They're in Hollywood. They're in music, movies or whatever.
We don't hang out all the time, but they're saying I'm seeing their posts on Facebook and they're like, Mahmoud Khalil was disappeared. He was disappeared. He was arrested. Shut up. And they're like, we don't even know where he is. Yes, we do. He's in an ice holding facility. The court has shut up. Calm down. Disappeared. He wasn't black bagged. He got arrested anyway.
Jeez. His arrest is the latest escalation by Trump and what he calls the first arrest of many to come to crack down on pro-Palestinian demonstrations on college campuses and comes days after he vowed to deport foreign students and imprison agitators involved in illegal protests. Now, first, I will stress because all the people are going to come on and say protests aren't illegal. We have the First Amendment. OK, if you're like, I'm going to protest and then you block doors to a federal building, that's illegal. That's that's obstructing an entryway. It's trespass, et cetera. So you can have a legal protest.
Now, Donald Trump on the other side, the administration is saying anybody who provides support to Hamas and we had to be careful here. You can be in favor of the Palestinian people and not be supporting Hamas. And a lot of people are. You can be critical of Israel without supporting Palestine or Hamas. It seems like their move here is to say Homi was pro Hamas.
And that's why he's being deported. On Monday evening, hundreds carried signs as they marched through lower Manhattan and called for Khalil's release. Khalil, who completed his work on his master's degree in December, was at the forefront of the student-led anti-war movement at Columbia University last year. He was among those under investigation by a new university committee that brought disciplinary charges against dozens of students for their pro-Palestinian activism, according to the AP.
ISIS arrested detention of Mahmoud follows the U.S. government's open repression of student activism and political speech, specifically targeting students at Columbia University for criticism of Israel, Israel's assault on Gaza. Khalil's attorney, Amy Greer, said the U.S. government has made clear that they will use immigration enforcement as a tool to suppress the speech. I'm going to say this first and foremost and right away.
Remove Israel from the from the equation. And you tell me that a non-citizen, non-citizen is attempting to organize Americans in protest of American governance. And I say deport him. Look, man.
There's a lot of questions here. It's very difficult and I don't have all the answers. All I can say is simply on the surface until convinced. Otherwise, my view is if you are not a citizen of this country, I do not see why you should be able to use obstructive methods to try and force us to change our country. You are not a citizen here. OK.
You don't get to vote. You don't get to apply obstructive pressures on our system to force us to bend to a foreign individual's will. Not OK. If you're a citizen, if you're naturalized. OK, now you got to say here's an analogy I'll use. I own a house and I rent a room, rent the room to some guy.
And then one day he duct tapes the kitchen door shut. And I'm like, bro, what are you doing? Let me in my kitchen. He goes, no, I'm not taking this tape down and letting you in until you agree to stop buying beef. You know, I'm vegan and you shouldn't eat meat. It's like, bro, you don't live here. You can't tell me what to do. You're renting. Can I evict this person? Hell yeah, I can evict them. Now, let's say they bought part of the house and they live there. You can't evict them.
But you got yourself a problem, don't you? And just like in the United States, if an American citizen is breaking the law, you can't deport them. But you can arrest them for doing illegal things. You get what I'm saying here? We got this tweet from Homeland Security.
On March 9th, 2025, in support of President Trump's executive orders prohibiting anti-Semitism and in coordination with the Department of State, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Mahmoud Khalil, a former Columbia University graduate student. Khalil led activities aligned to Hamas, a designated terrorist organization. Eyes in the Department of State are committed to enforcing President Trump's executive orders and to protecting U.S. national security.
I'm a pause you right there. Department of Homeland Security. I am playing that game aligned to Hamas. Yo, if I came out and said we should not be funding Israel, Israel's problems are their own. That's technically aligned to Hamas. So help me don't play that. That's B.S. You want to argue the dude was actually acting as an agent of or in support of Hamas. Show me evidence.
Simply using that excuse that he aligned with it has weakened your position. If Homeland Security came out and said that the that non-citizens do not have a guaranteed right to a visa or green card, that it can be revoked at any time. And this person engaged in illegal activities. I'd say that's tough. That's tough. But I don't see this completely wrong. I'll say it again.
If someone is here on any kind of visa, they are not a citizen, meaning they have allegiance and jurisdiction within another country. OK, and they engage in any kind of actually regardless of crime. Do we as a nation have a right to revoke visas?
Of anyone at any time, I think the answer is yes. Bro, if I invite you to crash at my place for a few months, I can kick you out whenever I want. And don't get me wrong. There are laws. If someone's lived there for longer than 30 days, they have tenants rights and all of that stuff. Sure. And so does this guy. He still has a lot of rights, but we can try to kick him out.
I don't like the dirty game of he was aligned with Hamas. You're allowed to criticize Israel. But I also think it's silly how many people are coming and defending the rights of non-citizens to protest.
With obstruction, like going beyond, like it's one thing. If you've got a guy sitting on a street corner waving a sign, we had the older millennial on, and we had this argument. I said, I don't like the idea of any immigrant, any, who's not a citizen. Like, because you can be an immigrant and become a citizen. You're a green card holder, and you are trying to force a change in our government through protest. If you're holding up a sign saying,
I roll my eyes and say, I don't like that you're doing it, but I don't know how much we want to escalate that. But if you're blocking roads, taking over buildings, organizing massive occupations. Now I'm kind of like, bro, we've seen what happens with these occupations, autonomous zones or otherwise. There were Jewish students being attacked. That's a fact.
They got they got chased out. It was there was violence. OK, and if you're organizing and coordinating this stuff, you're going beyond just free speech. I do not believe we as a country should tolerate noncitizens organizing such action. Now, again, I'll call out them saying aligned to Hamas. Spare me your your your BS. But here we go. Here come the Israel critical right instantly in defense of noncitizens protesting.
I wonder if they would feel the same way if there's a guy in Tijuana who is a green card holder protesting that we should be allowed to bring in illegal immigrants and actually blocking the roads and shutting down buildings. I think most of these people, to be honest, would be like, you can't do that. But, you know, I don't mean to impugn the honor of these individuals. Many of them I know and they've all been on the show.
Elijah Schaefer says, I hope the Supreme Court overturns this anti-constitutional order from Trump. I don't stand with Hamas, but visiting the First Amendment to protect a foreign people. How is that any different from the left ignoring laws to protect trans people? I'd say it's very different. Non-citizens should not be influencing our government. Don't know who you are or care. You're not a citizen. You should not be using any amount of force, be it the lowest tier of obstruction or otherwise, to manipulate our government.
Dr. Michael Rechtenwald says prohibiting anti-Semitism is both a violation of the First Amendment and a virtual impossibility, especially impossible in the Jewish state regularly and brazenly commits mass. Ah, here we go. You know, this is what makes me want to just bash my face on the table.
It's not about the question of immigration, immigrants and free speech. The issue is Israel. That's it. OK, Myron Gaines is a former DHS special agent. I'm ashamed the agency violated the First Amendment to the Constitution. We took an oath to uphold doing it on behalf of a foreign. Oh, there it is. OK, let's see what else is there. Let's see. Aaron Estor says let activities align to mass. How is that legally defined? I agree with that. You can't say that. That's the one I challenge.
But, you know, all right. I'm not going to read any more of these tweets. You get the point. The issue is clearly not that it's an immigrant who is protesting. The issue for all people involved, Democrats or otherwise, of course, is Israel.
So we have a couple of really funny tweets. This one's from the Senate Judiciary Democrats who tweeted free Mahmoud Khalil. And Stephen Miller says these are the same Democrats who wouldn't stand to honor the memory of Lake and Riley or Jocelyn Nungari. Right. I completely agree. I just you know, I can't stand the Democrats, man.
And you're allowed to criticize Israel. But guys, I am not buying it for two seconds that all of a sudden you're like immigrants deserve the right to engage in. Do we remember what they were doing at these protests? They took over buildings. They barricaded the doors. They shut down the universities. Hey, I'm actually not too upset about that, to be honest. But I'm going to argue on principle. Do
Do we allow people who are not citizens of this country to use obstructive force, taking over buildings, creating occupations across all these universities for the purpose of influencing the U.S. government and foreign policy? I say no, no. And I'm also in the camp of we shouldn't be funding Israel. But don't don't worry. The Jew and non people are going to call me Jewish anyway, despite the fact I've repeatedly maintained the position we should not be funding Israel nor Ukraine nor any other country for that matter.
We should be keeping our business to ourselves. So I think hopefully we get, let's just say, more influence in government to start winding down our support for foreign wars, though I really doubt it. Donald Trump can come out and say, we don't want to fund Ukraine. We're going to suspend their aid and arms. And then Netanyahu shows up and he writes a blank check. I'm speaking figuratively, of course, but I do not believe the people arguing this are doing so for any reason other than for the most part, Israel.
That's just my views. My friend Ben Shapiro had a funny post where he said Democrat, the Dow Jones industrial average has dropped significantly. I think I have this story. Is this? Oh, no, that's a different. Where's the where's the Dow Jones story? Is it? Here it is. Dow tumbles nearly 900 points. Nasdaq suffers worst days in 2022 as recession fears erupt.
You got breaking literally right now. Stocks slip as selling pressure continues. Yo, Democrats, you could be dancing around singing songs about this. And the American people are upset. We had a new poll from Emerson that just came out. I don't single poll, but I'll just say it anyway. I like to do aggregate polling. But this one says Trump's handling of the economy minus 11. And that's funny. His first term people loved his economic work. But his overall approval rating is still positive, which is fascinating.
Democrats could decide to say, hey, this is our chance. The market's tumbling. It's Trump's fault. Let's roll, baby. Instead, they were like, let's do the Israel thing. And so I'm going to say this to the Israel critical right and to the Democrats. You're not going to win this fight. You're not going to win ground if this is the strategy you take. And I mean it. And I'll say this to my friends who are deeply critical of Israel, because, again, you're allowed to be.
You know, I have told so many people this. I've told so many. I was like, you guys got to be like Dave Smith. OK, you know, Dave Smith. He's a funny guy. One of the funniest to stand up comedian, political commentator. He's critical of Israel. And he does so in a way that regular people can understand. And so I tell people, bro, if you walk down the street and you walk up to a random person.
And you start talking about all this like Israel conspiracy stuff and the Jews and calling people Jews. And I'm like that, I think, is an op to discredit those who are truly America first and oppose supporting foreign governments. Because I can tell you we shouldn't be funding Sudan. We shouldn't be funding Afghanistan. We shouldn't be funding Vietnam. We shouldn't be funding insert country, insert Ukraine, Israel. We get it.
But there are people who are so psychotically and boy, do I mean it, obsessed with just Israel that instead of actually pushing a true America first message, they're only pushing an anti-Israel. And often many of these people just outright screaming at Jews and call people Jews. I'll tell you this. I genuinely believe this. They're calling it Jew and non-Jewish.
where these people are going on X, everything is Jews, everything's about Jews. And I'm like, yeah, those people are doing that to discredit and stop you from actually being able to advance an America First agenda. 100%. I'm going to say it again. And I hope they hear me. I hope they want to say it. Because if you go to a regular person, right? So I've explained this to people. I said, guys, just be like Dave Smith. Okay, stop being crazy. Dave Smith is going to be like,
Why should your tax dollars be going to this foreign country, which is getting us involved in Middle Eastern foreign wars? Shouldn't we be securing our borders and fixing our own country? And it's like, yeah. Why are you paying taxes to see money be spent on weapons for a country that you've never been to? Yeah, good point. Why should we get entangled in a Middle Eastern conflict between Iran and Israel? Yeah, I can understand it. A regular person can understand that. And then these people come out and they go, the Jews, right?
And as soon as they do, that regular person, imagine this. I want you to imagine this because you'll get it. Imagine there's some like little old lady and she's like, I don't know much about Israel, but they're an ally of ours. And then Dave Smith says, ma'am, let me tell you a story. And he's funny. He's charismatic. And he has the lady thinking, you know, maybe you're right. Maybe we shouldn't be sending all this money to Israel. And then all of a sudden, the Jew and non people show up right next to Dave and start screaming. Yeah, you tell him, Dave, the Jews, the Jews, the Jews, right?
This old lady is going to be like, I don't know what you're on about. I don't have anything to do with that. That's crazy. The crazy everything is the Jews stuff discredits the America First stop funding foreign conflict movement. 100%. You know what, man? But I don't care.
I got to be honest, I'm foreign policy is huge for me, and I'm largely in the we shouldn't be funding any foreign nation. And the funny thing is, whenever I say I go on X and I'm like, we shouldn't fund any country. They go, oh, yeah. What about Israel? And I'm like, are you stupid? Did I say accept Israel? But these people are psychotic. They have Israel derangement syndrome. I would like to see a reality where the U.S. stops spending all of our money on wars and USAID grants.
But I do believe psychological operations are never so straightforward. And you're likely seeing bot attacks that are trying to turn the issue of America first into anti-Jew because they know it sours the minds of regular Americans who could be easily convinced we should not be funding Israel's, let's just call it problems in the Middle East. But it's much more complicated than that. And I don't want to get into the whole Israel-Palestine thing outside of this. The question is,
Do non-citizens have a right to engage in obstructive protest, illegal protest? And I'm going to clarify once again, taking over buildings, blocking roadways, etc. OK, that is not just peaceable assembly. It is not an issue of 1A. If you're an American citizen and you do that, you get arrested for it. It is a crime. OK, so.
There's the question. Have fun, everybody. Stay tuned. We got more news stories coming up throughout the day. Follow me on XN Instagram at Timcast, and we will see you all in the next segment.
Donald Trump has announced he will be declaring a national emergency in affected areas after the premier of Ontario said he would not hesitate to cut off electricity to these American citizens. Trump, of course, is outraged, saying, why are American citizens requiring Canadian energy electricity to survive?
In response to the increased tariff on electricity to Americans, Donald Trump is retaliating against Canada with further tariffs. Oh, boy. Now, there's a conversation around the market tanking. Democrats could be attacking this. Instead, they're much more concerned about an activist who was staging protests against Israel. I am not making a comment on that. I'm saying that's where their focus is. Calm down.
Curiously, I'm wondering what you guys think about all of this. The trade war is escalating and the market is hit. Some are suggesting this was always going to be the case because we've been in a recession for some time. And I want to play a video for you guys from yesterday.
Mikey Taylor, who is one of the best pro skateboarders ever, retired now, but a financial expert working in real estate who's breaking down his view of what we're currently looking at. I saw this video from him. It was interesting because I felt this, too. We've been in a recession for a long time, but they've been lying. We talked about it last year. Now that Trump is president, we are seeing a massive correction. Is this Trump's fault? It's easy.
It's easy to blame Trump with what with the tariffs and the trade war. But it could be that no matter what Trump did, this is going to happen. And mind you, many warned about it. They said last year the numbers were being flubbed. And I'm talking about prominent conservative influencers, personalities, people on our show, me. We were like, look,
How do you have all of these big box stores shutting down? How do you have sales failures, bankruptcies, layoffs? And they're saying the economy is better than ever. It was a huge talking point. The American people felt it. Now what we're seeing is the massive correction.
So first, let me show you this news. And I want to play you this video from Mikey Taylor's podcast where he basically lays out why he thinks we've been in a recession for a long time. But again, I digress. Maybe you feel differently. So comments and you tell me, is this Donald Trump's fault? Some are saying, so what if it is? We need to do this because Trump is going after the bureaucratic state. Breaking news, Trump declares a national emergency on electricity and says Canada will become the cherished 51st state.
No, Canada is what, like 13 provinces or something? I don't know. I don't know nothing about Canada, but maybe we'll take Alberta. President Trump declared a national emergency on electricity in the United States and doubled the tariffs on aluminum and steel from Canada after retaliatory tariffs from America's neighbor to the north. The president, in a lengthy post on Truth Social account on Tuesday, also threatened to permanently shut down the Canadian auto sector. I love it!
I am just so sick of weak leadership. And Donald Trump saying, you can't go to war with me, baby, is amazing. Yo, Ontario thinks they're going to play games. The United States, they're in for a rude awakening.
The president in a lengthy post said this. The only thing to make his tariffs stop is for Canada to become the 51st state he noted as he ramps up his trade war. He is going to eviscerate the Canadian economy. Well, let's jump to his lengthy text post. Oh, boy. Take a look at this.
Based on Ontario, Canada placing a 25% tariff on electricity coming to the United States, I have instructed my Secretary of Commerce to add an additional 25% tariff to 50% on all steel and aluminum coming into the United States from Canada, one of the highest tariffing nations anywhere in the world.
This will go into effect tomorrow morning, March 12th. Also, Canada must immediately drop their anti-American farmer tariff of 250% to 390% on various U.S. dairy products, which has long been considered outrageous. I will shortly be declaring a national emergency on electricity within the threatened area. This will allow the U.S. to quickly do what has to be done to alleviate this abusive threat from Canada.
If other egregious longtime tariffs are not likewise dropped by Canada, I will substantially increase on April 2nd the tariffs on cars coming into the U.S., which will essentially permanently shut down the automobile manufacturing business in Canada. Those cars can easily be made in the U.S.A.,
Also, Canada pays very little for national security, relying on the United States for military protection. We are subsidizing Canada to the tune of more than $200 billion a year. Why? This cannot continue. The only thing that makes sense is for Canada to become our cherished 51st state.
This would make all tariffs and everything else totally disappear. Canadians' taxes will be very substantially reduced. It will be more secure militarily and otherwise than ever before. There would no longer be a northern border problem. And the greatest and most powerful nation in the world will be bigger, better, and stronger than ever.
And Canada will be a big part of that. The artificial line of separation drawn many years ago will finally disappear and we will have the safest and most beautiful nation anywhere in the world. And your brilliant anthem, O Canada, will continue to play, but now representing great and powerful state within the greatest nation the world has ever seen. I really do not see that as a reality, my friend, my friends. But I digress. Trump has also made another post.
Stating on Truth Social, why would our country allow another country to supply us with electricity, even for a small area? Who made these decisions and why? And can you imagine Canada stooping so low as to use electricity that so affects the life of innocent people as a bargaining chip and threat? They will pay a financial price for this so big that it will be read about in the history books for many years to come. Well, my friends, here's the video. Ontario threatening to cut off American electricity. Let me be clear.
I will not hesitate to increase this charge. If necessary, if the United States escalates, I will not hesitate to shut the electricity off completely. Believe me when I say I do not want to do this. I feel terrible for the American people because it's not the American people who started this trade war. It's one person who's responsible. That's President Trump.
I'd rather be working together. I want to sell the U.S. more energy, more electricity, more critical minerals. I want to make Canada and the United States the richest, most successful, safest, most secure two countries on the planet.
But as premier, my number one job is to protect the people of Ontario and in hand protect the people of Canada. I will do whatever it takes. I will fight like I've never fought before to protect Ontario. Yeah, sure. I'll give you that. And Donald Trump's job is to protect Americans and not Canadians. So when Donald Trump says you are taking advantage of us and for the betterment of the American working class,
and manufacturing base, we're going to issue tariffs. All you can do is really cry about it. Now, the market is taking a big hit. And, you know, let me pull up the current numbers because it was selling off earlier. Dow slides another 400 points. We've got this from the Wall Street Journal. Trade threats send Dow down 300 points. U.S. dollar weakens further. Airline stocks in focus after outlook cuts. Oh, boy.
So we can take a look at Dow and Nasdaq taking a big hit, a big hit going on. You know, look, the big the big fear I have right now is one. I said this before. Donald Trump better get a handle on this. Even if it's a correction, whatever you call it, it's bad and it's bad for regular people. The Democrats and liberals like to scream to the high heavens. The market is meaningless. What matters is wages. And maybe that's why they're avoiding talking about it now.
But this matters for retirees and people with 401ks, people who are living off investments in their in their old age or whatever. And they're seeing their money go down. And of course, the market taking a hit was going to have a big impact on everybody. Now, the good news is egg prices are down lower now than when Donald Trump took office.
Perhaps that has something to do with Joe Biden killing a bunch of birds. But I do have this post from Mikey Taylor, which I saw this morning. You should follow this guy. He's fantastic. And let me play this clip for you. And are we heading into a recession? My wife asked me this last night as we were riding bikes with the family and we passed a couple homes that had for sale signs. She said, seems like a lot of houses just hit the market. So what I said back without even really thinking about it is I think we've been in a recession for probably about a year now.
Now, I know if we look at the numbers, there's been GDP growth, but from a feeling standpoint, and I know you can't always trust your feelings, it's felt like we've been in a recession. And here's why I say it. One, you've been seeing a lot of layoffs in the private sector. In February, there were 172,000 job cuts. That's the highest since the pandemic. Now, the data on the labor market looked good, but the Bureau of Labor Statistics has quietly revised their numbers, which means there's
hundreds of thousands of fewer jobs than reported. In the real estate market, yeah, construction has basically been halted due to interest rates. But something that we've been saying on the assets that we currently own, when looking at our lease up numbers and occupancy numbers, we've been saying for probably 12 months, this feels like a recession. These numbers are what a typical correction look like. Now, since then, they've actually, the numbers have been
looking better. Now that's my specific portfolio. We'll see what the national numbers look like. And here's what I want to leave everyone with. Now, if we enter a recession, like the media actually promotes it, don't panic. If your job is secure, one of the best things you could do is look for investments at discount. This could be stocks, crypto, real estate. The last time I did this in 2008, I'm not saying it wasn't scary, but oh my gosh, I made some of my best investments during that point. Let me know what you think. Have we been
Been in a recession? Are we are we heading into? I think the answer is we have been. And again, it's not new. It's not based on Trump's presidency. This goes back last year when we were saying stores are closing down. Department stores are closing down. Malls are closing down. People are getting laid off. They're not being honest about the economy. And the numbers, for some reason, that were being reported made it look like everything was great.
Well, what we saw, and some progressives were honest about this, is that the wealthy were making more money. The working class were making less. So the average looked pretty dang good. Overall, wealth was going up, but only among those who didn't need it to. And for those that are working class, that's why they voted for Trump, because they were feeling it the whole time. Now the market's facing a correction. And I'll say maybe.
Regular working class people have already been feeling the heat. So the market taking a hit doesn't have as big of an impact as it would have because they've been covering it up the whole time. Trump's trade war may actually be the only thing that actually starts to reverse this, which means it's going to get dark. It's going to get bad. So what can you do? Well, as Mikey was saying, if you can find investments at a discount.
Not super easy for the average person. A lot of people are losing money on this one. I don't want to give you any advice because I ain't a financial guy. The only thing I can say is don't panic. Try and find someone who can give you some good advice. For me, what I would do is I'd never sell during a panic sell-off. People are dumping crypto. You're seeing the price of Bitcoin go way down to like $76,000. Me, I'm not going to sell. Me, I'm going to buy the dip if you can. And that's why I said if your job is secure.
But again, I'm glad Trump is strong and pushing back on Canada. They have no right to play this game with us. A lot of people don't realize this, but Canada has had massive tariffs on tons of goods forever. Trump is saying you want to play ball, we'll play ball. Why do they have this trade imbalance, this trade deficit with us that we can't sell to them, but they can sell to us? No way. So Trump says, bring it on.
I hope he gets a handle on this. We want the economy to improve. It's very early. Let's see if he can pull it off. Smash the like button, share the show, follow me on X and Instagram, and we'll see you all in the next segment.
There are more important things than the state's corporate franchise fees. Let me give you the simple version, my friends. The latest news that Dropbox has officially left Delaware. They filed. They're gone. A wave of corporations are leaving Delaware. For those that aren't familiar, the story starts with Elon Musk, who was entitled to a multi-billion, $55 to $70 million pay package for Tesla. The company, of course, was incorporated in Delaware.
Elon hit certain milestones. He was supposed to get paid out. It got blocked. A judge said, you know what? I've decided your pay package. No good. You can't have it. So Tesla said, let's ask the shareholders once again. Should Elon get his pay package? And now enters little old me. So I get notification that I need to vote on this because I am a Tesla shareholder and itty bitty one, not the biggest shareholder.
And they said, do you think Elon should get paid? And I said, of course he should. He's leading this company to success. He should make the money off of it. I know Tesla stock is down, but I'm still way up because I bought Tesla when I was like 100 and something. And then it skyrocketed. Now we're seeing a major correction. Whatever. The point is, Elon as the CEO has built a successful company and I want to make sure he gets paid. So he continues to do this.
When Delaware blocked him, they put my money at risk. This scumbag judge. So Elon says, we're out. We're going to reincorporate in Texas. All of a sudden, tons of companies panicked. One progressive Democrat judge denying Elon Musk for stupid, psychotic reasons twice. And major companies said, we can't be here. If one little old judge can destroy our company with the flick of a pen,
We are screwed. They started jumping ship. Now the state is in free fall and they're in sheer panic. And the reporting is Democrats are trying to jump in to restore his pay. But it is too late. The breaking news, of course, Dropbox has completed its reincorporation from Delaware to Nevada.
And we are seeing now Walmart is preparing to leave Delaware. Oh, it feels so good to watch these people get some comeuppance. We're winning. Now, what are they resorting to? I don't know. They're setting fire to Tesla vehicles, shooting at them with guns and threatening the life of Elon. When I look at all this stuff, you know, it makes me worried because Trump, Elon, all of us were winning at the administrative level.
So these far leftists are resorting to violence. I believe as we get more stories like this, they're going to continue. Let's grab the story. But before we do, my friends, head over to castbrew.com. Take a search. Grab yourself some Misty Mountains. Look at that. $12.99 a bag. Costa Rican blend. We do have a bunch of others, of course. Appalachian Nights is everybody's favorite. They say for over a century now, Delaware has been the home of most large American corporations. The state government set up an incredibly corporate friendly regulatory tax and legal regime. And so big companies locate their official headquarters there. Many trusts and on paper shell corporations are Delaware based as well for the same reason.
It's a classic race to the bottom dynamic where because the federal government does not set a consistent baseline, states competed as to who could pander the hardest to big business. And Delaware hit bottom first. Most Fortune 500 companies locate there. And in return, the state gets about a third of its budget from corporate franchise fees and taxes. But Delaware's incorporation laws also provide some rights to shareholders. While shareholders have extremely limited ability to sue over the business judgment of corporate managers,
Corporations must prioritize them and treat them fairly. Due to these precedents, Elon Musk has been losing repeatedly in Delaware Chancery Court over a proposed pay package for himself worth an estimated $55 billion. Musk responded by moving Tesla's headquarters. Let's talk about what actually happened that they're covering up. It was apparently like one dude with a handful of shares, literally like 10 shares, who sued and a judge cited in this guy's favor, blocking the pay package.
So in response, Tesla held another vote and said, you, the shareholders, what do you think? And overwhelmingly, they said, give the man his money twice now. And then the judge came in again and said, no. Now, hold on there a minute. If the shareholders vote to give Elon his money, how could the judge block it twice? And why don't they point that out? They're trying to make it seem like Elon's like the shareholders of Tesla were mad at Elon and didn't want him to do this. No, it's one crackpot judge.
They say as a result, legislators from both parties in short panicked as CNBC reported Musk's own lawyers drew up a sweeping reform to state law that would weaken protections and powers for small investors.
Delaware state government, which is fully controlled by Democrat Democrats, fears the prospect of Trump leading a stampede of businesses out of the state and is reportedly supporting the bill. A ruling earlier this month in a case involving trip advisors moved to Nevada would make it easier for companies to leave Delaware and added fuel to the possibility. Clearly, Democrats want to head off a massive hole developing in the state budget and so are poised to give corporate America whatever they want. But should this pass?
It'll be an astounding betrayal, not just of the U.S., but of Delaware itself. Cry more about it. Cry more. If a company is based in Delaware and they say, bye bye, we out. You can't do anything about it. So cry more. This is what it's supposed to be. We got all these different states and they can operate how they want. This is why I've been ragging on West Virginia over their Uber laws. West Virginia.
Tell is telling us right now that our freelance reporter, we have no idea when he works. We have no idea where he's going to be. He can sell to us when he feels like it. He's not on a retainer. They said he's a full time employee. I said you will not get one penny from me. You scumbags. I've talked to people in government and I said I paint it. It's not going to happen. Let's play because I will shut this company down before you take one penny from
trying to steal from me. You want to play ball, but you know what's messed up? Regular small business, like small businesses in general, they can't handle this. The state comes at them and say, pay up or else they say we can't afford it. It's probably going to cost us more money to fight this than to just pay it. And the state is hoping they can rip us off and steal that money from us, claiming that a freelance reporter who 1099 is a full time employee. So I say I can go to any state I want. I don't need to operate here.
You want to play ball? We'll play ball. You want to take one penny from me? I will shut this down and I will operate out of a van in Texas before I pay you off from trying to steal from me. I digress. In Delaware, they're seeing this mass exodus.
We have this Elad blog. I don't think it's it's not related in any way to a lot as a different guy, but he mentioned several companies, Trade Desk, Activision, Moellus, TripAdvisor. He says there are different. There are more examples beyond Tesla. He writes examples of problems in Delaware causing companies to leave part of the concern in Delaware. It's a Wall Street Journal opinion piece recently put it the likelihood of expensive, meritless or value destroying litigation leads public companies in Delaware to avoid deals they would otherwise make.
The other part is a few more extreme Delaware activist judges who apply creative writing to interpreting the law. The most famous example is the court invalidating Elon Musk's board and subsequently a shareholder approved compensation package. The ruling was viewed as political activism by many versus following many,
Following any form of legal framework, Tesla subsequently reincorporated to Texas with 84 percent non-controller shareholder support. Let me stress, the board said pay Elon. The judge said no. The shareholders then voted and said pay the man. And the judge said no.
Trade desk Delaware court required special committee approval for controller transactions that were fully disclosed at IPO and had operated without challenge for years. Activision Delaware court invalidated merger approval process on technical grounds, despite 98 percent shareholder approval and no evidence of harm. Moellusen Company Delaware court invalidated longstanding stockholder agreements between the company and its founder that were disclosed in IPO required legislative to fix.
requiring a legislative fix. And for TripAdvisor, Delaware court ruled that merely reincorporating to Nevada required special committee approval and minority shareholder vote because reducing litigation exposure was deemed non-rattable benefit to the controller. So here's what's next. Walmart is mulling a Delaware exit. Oh boy.
A small group of corporate attorneys last month told Delaware legislators that blue chip companies, including Walmart, were considering moving their corporate legal residencies out of the state. Some before reported the news is said to have Delaware's political and business leaders reeling.
The small state of Delaware with just over one million people derives more than one third of its state budget from corporate legal fees. Not to mention the far greater impact corporation business has on the economy. But now many businesses are fleeing the state due to its woke policies, left leaning judges and anti-business environment. In late January, Meta confirmed it was in talks with Texas about reincorporating in that state and pulling out of Delaware. Let me tell you how it works, my friends. Let me tell you how it works.
Right now, this is important. West Virginia's legislature has passed a ban on artificial food dyes. Huge, massive success. But big food producers at the national level are threatening West Virginia, saying we'll leave. If you don't want us to sell our food here, we'll leave. That's going to be a challenge for the governor because he could still veto this. We need support. We need people to say we are going to make sure the state can still sell food and make money.
I think it should be done. I think food dyes, artificial food dyes should be banned. Use carrots, use blueberries, whatever, beta carotene. Stop using this garbage. Clean food. I think it'll be a tremendous benefit to West Virginia. But that's the risk right now. Big business says they're going to leave. For Delaware, what people need to understand is this is not just about business. They have crazy trust laws. They want all wealthy people to set up their
I had a lawyer advise me. He said, Tim, you got to set up a trust in Delaware because the way it works is you put all of your investments into the trust. And I don't know how it works. We didn't do it. I think it's scummy. And I'm glad we did because now look what's going on. The way it works is when a trust makes money, there's no taxes to be paid because it's not it's not a legal person entity. So I could be wrong about this. But I think the general idea was you put a bunch of money in the trust, the
The trust then invests in various stocks or whatever. The value goes up. There's no taxes to be paid because there's no income gained by anybody and no capital gains. Then when you pull money out of the trust, you pay tax on it. So in the long run, no taxes are being paid and you can make money. It's $5,000 a year or whatever for the special trust system. And Delaware does it to shield wealthy people from having to pay taxes through normal operations. Delaware is a scumbag state, and that's just the way it is. But I tell you this.
Competition is the name of the game. And that's the way it should be. When they decided to play this game, this is the repercussions is what you're going to get. So I say this. In West Virginia, what people need to understand about business, when they're saying Facebook is negotiating with Texas, I've got people from governments begging me not to leave. I shouldn't be talking to me. Many of them are saying, hey, Tim, we'll figure this out. Please don't leave. I shouldn't be so crass. What are we worth to West Virginia? Well,
Not a lot revenue wise, but PR wise, it can be way worse. When I tweeted that we were mulling leaving West Virginia over their Uber laws, and we still are, I was slammed in every direction from every politician, not every, but many politicians in the state. Even the governor, excuse me, was tweeting about it. They were saying, give us a chance to fix all of these things. We just got in. It's been a it's been a Democrat state for so long. We're going to fix this.
Well, the state then still followed through with enforcement action against us, which I believe is criminal harassment. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but it's harassment. Claiming that a dude who lives in New York, who periodically pitches to us video he has that we can buy, is a full-time employee and we owe back taxes and interest, is them just trying to steal money from us. So if you want to play that game, we will move this company out. Now, the risk to the state is the PR damage.
If I make that move, and even by complaining about it now, there's going to be big companies that are like, I don't know if we should operate in West Virginia because look what's going on with Timcast. Now, we don't generate nearly as much money as a large food producer, but we generate probably the largest amount of attention. I mean, I got to be honest.
We might generate the most amount of national attention for the state. It's kind of weird. I mean, obviously, you've got politicians. I mean, like as a media entity, how many other big podcasts in the country? How many other top 30 podcasts are headquartered in West Virginia? Maybe there's a few. I don't know. But we're one of the biggest. So when I say the state's screwing us over and trying to steal from us, people say I'm not going to go there.
And a lot of people had moved to the state because we saw opportunity here. Now, I trust and respect the governor. I've met him personally before he was governor. So hopefully they do the right thing. I don't want any special treatment. But understand this about Delaware, about West Virginia. When you're a big company, you are talking directly with the state. You are talking directly with the leadership. Why? For the county that we are in, we do generate a lot of money.
And we're probably one of the biggest taxpayers, not the biggest because we're not that big, but we're big. And so the county loves that we're here. The state does love that we're here. But let's be real. We're not we make a lot of money, but we're not like the biggest company in West Virginia or anything like that. The PR issue is massive and they don't want people ditching the state or freaking out over these laws.
So what ends up happening is politicians contact me and say, what can we do? And my response to all of them is I don't want favors and I don't want special treatment. You fix the law. Otherwise, we're finding somewhere else to go. Now, we do love the artificial dye ban in foods, and that is good reason to stay. We can fight through these laws. We can challenge the state over falsely coming after us for back taxes. And that is scumbaggery to the highest extent. But maybe we leave. Maybe we leave.
The Democrats in Delaware are feeling that pain. The only reason I feel bad in West Virginia is the Democrats have been defeated. It's now a supermajority state. But a lot of these Republicans are still acting like Democrats. The artificial food ban, artificial food die ban is huge and shows the state's moving in the right direction. So maybe what we need is for the state to fix this law and stop harassing us and trying to get us to pay money we don't owe.
I get these union people, all these scumbags messaging me being like, you just don't want to pay benefits to people who deserve it. Screw off. I'm going to spare the profanity. These people, these union gangsters want to force you to be an employee so they are guaranteed union fees in states where you don't have a choice and you're forced to work for the union. Screw that.
A dude who does not live in this state, who films whatever protests he wants, whenever he wants, is not an employee. But if you want to play that game, okay, we'll stop paying for any of his content and he'll have no job. It's insane. The dude sells to whoever he wants. He lied. He goes and covers whatever he wants. We don't want to buy that. We do want to buy that. They call him a full-time employee. We got two IT guys out of state on retainer.
They work randomly. We have retainers because we want to make sure we have the time allotted. Full-time employee. One guy's full-time, one guy's not. We said, how come you're saying that guy isn't, that guy isn't? And they went, no. And I'm like, okay, you're lying. Is it because one guy got paid more in the year? Our IT guys are not employees. We're not an IT company. They don't work on a schedule. They don't have to be anywhere. They can work wherever they want, whenever they want. They can outsource to wherever they want. It is an IT company.
And the state of West Virginia said, don't know, don't care. Pay up or else. And I said, or else. Or else! Let's go, baby! You want to go to war? We'll go to war. Screw you. Back to Delaware. Their game, the game they're playing, is way bigger. Who am I? Some guy in West Virginia, whatever. Delaware. You had all the big corporations, and they're going to jump ship.
Good for them. I'm on their side. The state is a bunch of scumbag activists and they want to burn down small business. They want to burn down big business. They want to gut people's bank accounts, whatever it is they're doing. Then people will leave. Don't go to Delaware where the activist judges are going to screw you over. Because I'll tell you this. When I was first setting up the incorporation for Timcast, we were in New Jersey.
And I got told by my accountant, do Delaware. They say, register in Delaware, pay for a registered agent. You're going to save so much money. And I said, that sounds like scumbaggery. And they said, it's totally normal. You operate nationally. You're a podcast. People all over the country are customers. You don't need to be in New Jersey. You're only there for your studio. So the company should be in Delaware. You'll pay less taxes. And I said, I'm not going to do that. I live in New Jersey. I pay taxes where I live.
We left New Jersey, scumbag state, for a lot of reasons. We went to Maryland. We said we're going to operate in Maryland. Maryland actually wasn't bad to us. Seriously, their gun laws are garbage, but Maryland wasn't bad to us. We only relocated to West Virginia because we wanted larger property to lower cost. And it turned out the taxes were worse. We tolerate it because the gun laws are better. Security is better. And we believe in the new administration and the moves they're making.
But now you want to come at me like this after everything good I said about this place. You have the nerve to put a knife in my back. So I take this stuff personally and I gloat when these people cope and see the big corporations ditching Delaware. It feels good. I'll tell you how I feel. We could have stayed in Maryland. I don't like the state.
But they were good to us. They didn't bother us. The taxes weren't so bad. We were 10 minutes from Virginia and West Virginia, not even like literally a minute down on the border. And so we could go wherever we wanted. But the gun laws were really bad and the property is more expensive. So we were like, we can get a much bigger property and build a bigger space if we leave. Granted, we got like 11 acres or so in Maryland. It's just the property is on a mountain.
Seriously. So I know it's an East Coast mountain, so calm down, West Coasters. So we were like, it's better just to move and relocate and make a different business here. We go to West Virginia. We tell everybody to move here. We invest in property in Martinsburg. We try building things out. And what happens? The state comes to us and says, we're going to take from you high five figures that they have no right to. They're going to lie and enforce a fake law against us. And they keep pushing and they keep pushing. So West Virginia, man.
I want to give the new administration a chance, but man, am I just so sick of this. Good luck, Elon, and screw you, Delaware. We'll work out our problems in West Virginia, but in the meantime, I hope Elon wins. I hope Delaware cries more about it. Later. Stick around. We got more shows coming up. We'll see you all at TimCast IRL. Follow me on X and Instagram at TimCast. Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac were cuddling, and it's not gay. BuzzFeed wants you to know it is not gay.
And this has actually been a talking point for some time because Vox.com ran this story 10 years ago where they were like, men cuddle all the time. OK, I just I got to say it, my friends. It is not normal for men to cuddle. Now, I must say, I must say this again. I am not telling you you're not allowed to do it. I am not disrespecting you, men who cuddle.
I am just telling you, you are rare. It is very atypical. Men don't hug. They don't cuddle like I'm sorry. OK, now hold on. Hold on. OK, men hug sometimes. Right. You know, maybe you'll do the fist grab. Come in for the one arm pat on the back. And men may hug their children or their dads.
But strangers, guys typically don't hug. I guess you can call it like, you know, like I said, you know, typically we have some people come by the show, handshake usually. Sometimes if it's a good friend, it's a handshake and a, you know, pat on the back once or twice. Now with women, men hug. You know what I mean? Because it is normal. And women cuddle. But we have this story and we're going to talk about it because it's funny.
Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac are being praised for displaying non-toxic masculinity after Pedro shared an intimate photo of them cuddling. Quote, I'm so over toxic masculinity. These two give me hope for the future, one person said of the intimate snap. Another day, another example of Pedro Pascal making the internet a slightly nicer place to be. This time it's with the help of longtime bestie Oscar Isaac.
With the stars being praised for representing non-toxic masculinity. No! It's femininity. It's fine that it's femininity. There's a viral post from a while ago.
where a poll was asked, if two men cuddle, is it gay? And 70% said yes. And they said, if two women cuddle, is it gay? And 70% said no. Why? It's simple. And all these people are like, well, it's because men are told to repress their emotions. No, it's because one is feminine, one is masculine. So two dudes cuddling are engaging in a feminine behavior. That's it. Men cuddle with women. That's fine. But women cuddle with whoever.
Men don't cuddle with men. You see, they keep trying to play this gender mixing thing. But the reality is, guys, OK, the reason why guys don't cuddle, they don't want to. There is. And I love this because I know most people watching are guys. There is no like hidden desire deep within straight men to be like, I just wish I could cuddle with a man. And then you can't.
Here's a story. For reference, the two men first met when they started alongside one another on the off-Broadway show in 2005. They became fast friends. It's gotten better, but at that point, it was easy to be pigeonholed in very specific roles because we're Latinos. It's like, how many gang member roles am I going to be sent?
The dream was to be able to pay rent, Oscar said of him and Pedro during the early days of their friendship. There wasn't a strategy. We were just struggling. It was talking about how to do this thing that we both love that seems kind of insurmountable. And so here, friends, see arm around your body for a photo. No problem. Right. And here's a lady with one arm. No problem. All right. And here's is this the photo? They blur it out. No, no, no. I don't know what that is. Where's that? Oh, here it is. Let's zoom out so you can see it.
They're cuddling. They're cuddling. And I don't care. That's fine, guys. You're allowed to cuddle. OK, but I'm going to tell you, it is effeminate. It's it's it's you know, when people say, is it gay? I don't think these two dudes are like hooking up with each other. I mean, maybe they are. I don't know. But it is probably more likely than not. They've been friends for a long time. They cuddle and hug. Sounds like they're in a relationship. And you know what? I have no problem. Just stop trying to pretend that men should cuddle.
In the photo, the two men are enjoying an intimate cuddle in front of a beautifully scenic backdrop. Oscar is cradling Pedro and smiling while resting his head on his friends. Oscar's hand is also visible on Pedro's shoulder. And Pedro has channeled his inner Ariana Grande by reaching up to clasp onto Oscar's thumb. Dude, I don't care if you're gay. I really don't. Look at this from Vox. Study straight men cuddle with other men a lot. No, they don't.
Okay, this is a lie. This one's from 2014. Society is more accepting of same-sex marriages. Well, actually, 10 years on, it's not. But where were we? British researchers hypothesized that, yes, gender boundaries are expanding. To prove it, they talked to 40 straight male athletes aged 18 and 19, which the study labels the typical arbiters of masculinity to see if they ever cuddled or spooned with another man before.
The researchers figured that if gender norms are changing, more straight men will say they're okay with cuddling and spooning another man. The men said they were okay with men on mad cuddling or spooning. So they found 40 people and that's their study. Look, let me tell you, as a man, men don't cuddle. Now, I'll tell you what could be happening. T levels are dropping substantially and men are becoming substantially more effeminate, in which case I don't know if you can call them masculine men. What the researchers found was a bit surprising.
The men said they were okay with man on mad cuddling and spooning and nearly 93% claimed to have done it before. Turns out some straight men really like cuddling with each other. The study looked at three main topics, bed sharing, cuddling, and spooning. We have a bromance where we are very, very comfortable around each other. Of the 40 men interviewed, 39 said they've shared a bed with another man at least once since attending university. I'm going to pause you right there. Spare me that stupidity, bro.
As a person who skates and has traveled the country or anybody's ever been in a band, just because you shared the bed doesn't mean you cuddled or are gay. OK, sometimes you're just poor. OK, and poor does not equal gay. So if I'm traveling on the country.
And, you know, we used to travel around for news and stuff. You just, you just, you know, flip over or whatever, you know, feet to face. It's like, look, there's one bed. I'll take the right side. You take the left. It's like, I'm not going to sleep on the floor and the bed's big enough for two people, but don't touch me. I'll be on top of the cover as you're below it. Sometimes no one even really cares, but ain't nobody cuddling. Silly.
The one remaining student said he didn't remember if he had before. I might have been pissed drunk, but all 40 athletes explained there was no stigma to sharing a bed with another man, even if the other man wasn't a particularly close friend. Yeah, that's like, hey, if you could only if you've got seven dudes who are going on a tour and you sneak into one hotel room, is it a big deal if two guys are on the same bed? Yet nobody's pretending like they're sleeping with each other or cuddling.
I feel comfortable with Connor. We spent a lot of time together. I happily rest my head on Connor's shoulder when we're lying on the couch or or hold him in bed. But he's not the only one. The way I see it is that we're all very close mates. We have a bromance where we're very comfortable on each other. So they found a group of effeminate guys who are probably gay and just don't want to admit it and then go on to say a study shows it. A study shows men cuddle. Indeed.
Look at some from Men's Health. How going to a gay cuddle club helped me heal. I found hugging complete strangers to be surprisingly therapeutic and learn there's a lot more to physical intimacy than just sex. OK, I want to say this to all of you man cuddlers, to all you men out there who cuddle men. It's OK to be gay. I got no beef. You live your life. You do your thing. If there is a guy and you want to cuddle with him, probably gay. But that's fine. That's the weirdest thing about it.
Is it like the narrative is actually that it's actually quite homophobic? You know, I'm going to say it. BuzzFeed, very homophobic. Vox, homophobic. Why? Why are they insisting on saying gay men are not gay? These are clearly guys who want to snuggle with other men. That's gay. Like, and that's OK. Right. I got to tell you, men don't cuddle.
But I'm not surprised to see Hollywood celebrities like Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac because Hollywood is like that anyway. The funny thing about how these women in media keep framing it, I'm not going to fault the ladies because they cuddle with each other. That's what women do. And they don't have a sexual attraction. But men don't have that. Men don't have that. If they do, they're gay. And that's fine. I'll say it again. But you know what? We talked about this the other night with the J.D. Vance memes.
Women, I think, and effeminate men do not understand testosterone. OK, and so what you end up with, let me tell you, my friends, if you know, if I insult a guy and we're friends and I call him choice words and he knows he's we're ribbing on him. OK, we make fun of each other all the time.
You know, we had a friend growing up who would call us all by our racial slurs and everybody knew he was joking. It's like it's based off George Carlin's bit from the early 90s. So these women in media can't understand that. And so they go on the Internet and they see a guy insult another guy. And they're like, why is he being so mean? So they're like, we have to ban him because he's mean. And it's like, lady, he's not really being mean. One of my favorite moments, we had a guy on Timcast IRL.
He said that he called his roommate gay. Who was it? Was it Richie McGinnis? It might have been Richie. I don't know. Richie, was it you? But somebody was like, I was tweeting at, back on Twitter, I was tweeting at one of my roommates and they post something. And I said something like, I didn't realize you were gay and I got suspended for it. And I was like, bro, that's my roommate. We're joking. Nope. Because women are running these platforms and they can't understand this.
That's like in the Rick and Morty episode where they go to that planet of all women and the women keep saying, I'm here if you need to talk. I'm here if you need to talk. Guys, don't do that. Guys will like will will take a wet towel and then whip you with it. And it hurts because they're screwing around. You know, a friend of mine was like I still technically is a female famous pro skater.
Maybe was. I don't know if she skates. But she had this article where she talked about why skating is different for women. And she said men have fun punching each other in the face. Women don't. And I'm like, yep. Yeah, like some women do like UFC, but it's substantially less. There's way more dudes that want to fight each other or engage in physical activities that get wrecked than women. So let me tell you what guys do.
Guys will run full speed and jump off a building and break their ankles just to say that. I'm not kidding. I watched a video where a guy ran full speed off of the top of a one story building. And then he jumped probably, what is it like 16 feet, kicked off an I-beam and backflipped and then landed on his feet. Everyone cheered for him and he broke his ankle doing it. And everyone's clapping and cheering. And I'm just like, this is the extent of masculinity and where it's going.
We've already seen the limits of action sports where people are like, I'll only get a little bit injured if I do this, but then I can say I did. And so you've got in not just pro skateboarding, but parkour, people are doing tricks where they're jumping off buildings, breaking and injuring themselves. But they're like, but I did it. And I'm like, my attitude is kind of, I think if you get injured doing it, it doesn't count. But how do you know you're injured? If you land on your feet, you did.
So I guess let me tell you what non-toxic masculinity is. OK, first of all, toxic masculinity is when insecure guys are trying to act tough. Regular old masculinity is guys ripping on each other, insulting them, getting hurt, playing sports. This this what we're looking at with dudes cuddling is femininity. And it's OK if these guys want to be gay. I got no beef.
Anyway, I'm not going to rant on this. I'm going to leave it there. Smash the like button. Share the show with everyone you know. Follow me on Instagram at TimCast. And if you want to cuddle a dude, go for it.
