Deep Dive

Key Insights

Why did Donald Trump call for Gavin Newsom's resignation over the LA wildfires?

Donald Trump called for Gavin Newsom's resignation due to what he described as a 'failed response' to the LA wildfires, which he claimed were exacerbated by mismanagement and dereliction of duty. Trump criticized Newsom for not ensuring adequate water supply for firefighters and for leaving for a vacation despite advanced warnings about the potential for fires.

What evidence suggests that some of the LA wildfires may have been caused by arson?

A video surfaced showing a fire being intentionally started in a parking lot, and Andrew Huberman tweeted about witnessing people lighting fires in non-burning urban areas of LA. Additionally, there have been reports of homeless individuals starting fires, which has led to speculation about arson or eco-terrorism being a factor in the wildfires.

What criticisms were raised about the LA Fire Department's response to the wildfires?

Critics, including former L.A. mayoral candidate Rick Caruso, pointed out that the city failed to clear brush from hillsides, which contributed to the rapid spread of fires. Additionally, there were reports of firefighters running out of water due to reservoirs not being refilled in time, highlighting a failure in basic infrastructure and leadership.

What role did diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies play in the LA Fire Department's staffing issues?

DEI policies were criticized for prioritizing diversity over merit, leading to a shortage of qualified firefighters. Adam Carolla shared his experience of being rejected from the L.A. Fire Department because he was a white male, and reports indicated that the department's demographics did not match the city's population, with underrepresented groups and women making up a small fraction of the workforce.

What is the 'Dead Internet Theory' and how does it relate to AI-generated content?

The 'Dead Internet Theory' suggests that a significant portion of online content, including social media posts and comments, is generated by AI bots rather than real humans. This theory is supported by Meta's plans to create AI-generated users on platforms like Instagram and Facebook, raising concerns about the authenticity of online interactions and the potential for manipulation.

What is the significance of the video showing a fire being intentionally started in LA?

The video, which shows a fire being intentionally started in a parking lot, is significant because it provides visual evidence of arson, suggesting that some of the wildfires may have been deliberately set. This has fueled concerns about eco-terrorism or homeless individuals starting fires, adding complexity to the causes of the disaster.

What is the connection between California's water management and the wildfires?

California's water management was criticized for failing to refill reservoirs in time, which left firefighters without adequate water to combat the wildfires. This failure was seen as a result of poor planning and leadership, as the state had advanced warnings about the potential for fires but did not take sufficient preventative measures.

What is the 'diversity of tactics' strategy used by leftist groups during protests?

The 'diversity of tactics' strategy allows leftist groups to unite and support each other's diverse methods of protest, ranging from peaceful marches to violent actions. This strategy creates cover for extremists to engage in violence while maintaining the appearance of a peaceful protest, as seen in events like the J20 protests during Trump's inauguration.

Donald Trump has now called for the resignation of California Governor Gavin Newsom. The L.A. wildfires has been an unmitigated disaster. Only around 10% of the fire is currently contained. New fires are emerging, and it's actually extremely horrifying. In one video, it appears that you can see the charred remains of an individual. The Weather Channel was filming, and we don't know for sure, but as they're filming through the debris and the rubble, it looks like there is a charred skeleton.

amidst the rubble. So it's terrifying. It's sad. And, you know, my heart goes out to everybody whose lives were destroyed by this. The Pacific Palisades, Santa Monica, Altadena, Pasadena, all of these areas, they're beautiful. And it's a shame that through dereliction of duty, mismanagement and these failed policies, we are seeing

What is, I think, obviously an avoidable disaster. There's so much to go through here. I mean, there was an advanced warning about the potential for fires with the Santa Ana winds coming in. This is like a regular thing. People know it. And the mayor left for a vacation off to Africa anyway.

They knew they were warned and they should have been here. But it's more than that. And we can talk all about the water problems in California. But what we can clearly see here is an absolute failure on the part of the corrupt politicians who run the state. There's a big difference between Donald Trump and Gavin Newsom. There's a reason why Donald Trump was elected president twice. Gavin Newsom.

He's on a video. Anderson Cooper is talking to him about what's going on. Why do firefighters have no water? And what does the man say? Locals will figure that are trying to figure that one out. You're the governor. You are the leader of this state. And this generated tons of outrage, massive outrage. The buck stops with you.

And that's the difference we see between real leadership and a failed leadership. I don't expect Gavin Newsom to resign. He won't take any responsibility for this, though he should. But a good leader says it is my fault. A lesson I learned when I was a kid, you know, I was going to school and a train came by and the train took like 45 minutes. You know, you get the train tracks in the street. I couldn't do anything about it. So I was late for school. I got a tardy and my dad told me,

You know the train tracks are there. It's your fault. That's an important lesson. You have to plan for these things. The buck stops with you. You can't sit down and just say, well, the universe dictates. No, chance favors the prepared. And in this instance, Gavin Newsom, Karen Bass, these people who are supposed to be leading this city, this state, completely failed. They know the fires happen. They know what the weather patterns are like. They know the warnings are here.

They didn't refill their reservoirs. They didn't hire enough firefighters because they didn't want white men. I mean, this is absolutely insane. Now, there's a big concern that these fires may actually be either eco-terrorism, people intentionally starting fires to burn things down, or just homeless people starting fires. And of course, the left.

Well, what are they saying? They're saying it's climate change. It's not because wildfires happen all the time. But this is how they pass the buck. Their their policies have failed. Los Angeles, they call it the homeless capital of the developed world, the largest homeless population in the country. We know and I can pull up all the sources. I've done it for you.

where homeless people start fires and they still try to say, no, no climate change. Well, I got something for you. California is like the most progressive state, right? No one's done more for climate change mitigation, right? Then why is it affecting your state? Why isn't it happening in other places? And they're going to pass the buck and they're going to say, we are suffering because of you.

And this is the problem with communists. And I'm saying that somewhat tongue in cheek. Literally not everybody's a communist, but that's the ethos of I have no responsibility for any of this. It's your fault. Instead of recognizing they cut the budget on their fire department. Gavin Newsom has no plan. The locals will figure it out. They say climate change. But let's break through this news, my friends. Before we get started, head over to cast brew dot com and pick up cast brew coffee. How about some delicious Ian's graphene dream? This stuff sounds like holy crap.

I don't know what Ian's doing, okay? But if you guys know Ian from Timcast IRL, he sold 5,350 bags of this coffee. I think it's our top-selling coffee now. Ian's graphene dream is low acidity. He's already sold 320 bags in a week.

People really love this coffee. I don't know what to say. But the bag's hilarious. And if you want to bask in Ian's graphene dreams, the man knows it's coffee, I guess. It's low acidity. So it's meant to be easier on the stomach when you're drinking. And well, okay. We are sold out of Stand Your Grounds. We got Appalachian Nights. And of course, don't forget, we got two weeks till Christmas, Phil Labonte dressed like Santa Claus. So head over to Casper and check that out. Here's the story from the post-millennial. On Wednesday night,

President-elect Donald Trump called on California's Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom to resign following the failed response to the deadly L.A. wildfires. Trump posted on Truth Social, one of the best and most beautiful parts of the United States of America is burning down to the ground. Man, it's ashes. And Gavin Newsom should resign. This is all his fault.

Well, don't take my word for it. Let me play the video clip for you from CNN. What is the situation with the water? Obviously, in Palisades ran out last night in the hydrants. I was trying to firefighter on this block. They left because there was no water in the hydrant here. The local folks are trying to figure that out. I mean, just when you have a system that's not dissimilar to what we've seen in other extraordinarily large scale fires, whether it be pipe electricity or whether it just be the locals are going to figure it out. You're the governor.

The buck stops with you, but don't worry. The locals are going to figure it out. Wow. He may as well have just said you're on your own. The state will do nothing. My dude, how about you start sending in tankers full of water? Do anything? No. You're literally going to stand there while the locals figure it out. It's absolutely remarkable. Now, I've got this this clip.

Take a look at this. Now, you heard from Anderson Cooper, who outright just said they're running out of water. Listen to this. Former L.A. mayoral candidate and real estate developer Rick Caruso criticizing the city's response to the windstorm and fires. He says officials should have been more prepared. Real issue to me is twofold. We've had decades to go remove the brush in these hills that spread so quickly.

I'll pause real quick. Rick Caruso ran for mayor and lost. And the second is you've got to have water. And my understanding is the reservoir was not refilled in time and in a timely manner to keep the hydrants going. So that's a failure, whether on DWP's part or another city agency. But this is basic stuff. This isn't high science here. It's all about leadership and management that we're seeing a failure of.

And all of these residents are paying the ultimate price for that. Despite what you have heard from Caruso, no firefighters have told us that they are running out of water. Well, you heard it from the anchor over on Fox Local. No firefighters have told us they're running out of water. Didn't you just hear Anderson Cooper say it? We'll get this right after this anchor says it. And let's go out to Gigi Graciette. She is live in Pacific Palisades. I know your signal's not the best, but Gigi, what can you tell us?

Well, firefighters have told me they have no water on this block and you may be able to make out the ember storm that we're in the middle of right now. This house is going to be a total loss. They have no water to put on this fire. They are standing by. I'm...

I'm just so angry. I'm so sick of these people. I am so sick to my stomach of these people who lie and lie and lie because they won't take responsibility. Dude, I have no problem saying something was my fault. Do you?

You know, if I'm trying to move a piece of equipment or whatever and it breaks, I'll be like, that was on me, dude. We got to fix it. I'm sorry, guys. What do you do but move on? You get something wrong, you say, we were wrong about this. We got to move on. But Gavin Newsom, these anchors, these Democrat politicians refuse every step of the way to admit they were wrong. And now people are suffering and people are dying. And this is the story we hear every single day. Enough.

Now, I get I don't got to be mad because Donald Trump won. OK, the party of responsibility won. They called Jordan Peterson far right. Jordan Peterson was a guy who was when asked about civil rights law. He goes, oh, maybe I was wrong about that. It's that simple. It's that simple. Maybe I was wrong. You know, I'm trying my best. But these people will lie to your face. Firefighters haven't told us that. Well, bless the heart of that reporter's like, yeah, they did.

And, and, and as in Cooper accurately reported that I'll take it, but Newsom's like, well, locals will have to figure that one out. Like all major problem. What? You're the governor, dude. You're supposed to know you're supposed to coordinate and say, here's what we have at the state level. What can we do at the local level? Nah, they'll figure it out. Okay. I'm sick of it.

And now it's getting worse, man. L.A. wildfires, death toll rises. One hundred thirty thousand residents ordered to leave as the blaze spreads. So we've got this map from air now dot gov. And this isn't so much about tracking fires, it's tracking air quality. But you can see we've got three major fires. Now, this one isn't covering what's called now the sunset fire. But you can see the air quality going down because there is a a fire going

In the Hollywood Hills. Now, fortunately, they've my understanding is they've gained control of that. I don't know if I have the here we go. L.A. Times firefighters make big gains battling the Sunset Fire, which forced evacuations in Hollywood. This one scared me the most. Now, look, I'm terrified of the Palisades fire. And I know that people like James Woods were deeply affected. And we love James Woods. And I hope they're all OK. But I'm going to be honest with you. I have friends who live in the Hollywood Hills. And so that affects me personally.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't empathize with people who are affected by this unless you know them personally. I'm just saying it really does hit you different when you're wondering if your friend is alive and you hear that there's a fire in the Hollywood Hills. And I'm sending messages being like, did you guys get out? Because they're not coming to save you. And, you know, look, we can make it political, whatever. This is the failure of the governor. And you know what? I got to be honest with you. The liberals, they comment. They're like, don't do the nobody liberal friend, dude.

I have lived a long life. Some of my best friends I've known my whole life are very liberal because we're not insane. We get along just fine. You know, we go to we go to holidays with family and there's the liberal aunt and all that stuff. And we don't yell at each other because we're sane. It's crazy how insane people get. But I got to tell you, like my friends, they voted for Newsom. They voted for Biden.

These are not people I hang out with on a regular basis, but I've known for years. And they're not bad people. OK, we just disagree. And I don't want anything bad. These are people that I would I would you know, I said if someone was trying to attack, I might stand in front. I protect them. They're my friends. And it is terrifying when they announce the sunset fire. I'm like, dude, I know like five people. They're not super political people. That's why they're they vote for these terrible policies. And I wish they'd pay attention to these videos. I wish they trusted me more.

But maybe we go skateboarding. We laugh, we smile, we hang out, we get cheeseburgers. And then I hear that a mile from their home is a raging wildfire and they're evacuating. And I'm like, dude, come hang out. Come hang out. That stuff really freaks me out. So I hope everybody's OK, man. This is what gets me very angry. You know, part of it is I try and I try and I tell people, guys, you can't you can't keep voting for these policies, man.

You know, what do you get? Eric Abinante, epic Adam Carolla rant from a hotel after he was forced to evacuate. Check out this clip. I'll play just a little bit of it. The guys who lost their $20 million homes on the ocean side of PCH are

will be knee-deep in the permit process. So that's the Pacific Coast Highway. Actually, let me show you guys, for those that don't know, right down here. Man, I've driven this road so many times. This right here, you see this Route 1? This is the Pacific Coast Highway. It is beautiful. And you have all of these homes, some of the most beautiful. They're small, some of them are big, and they're on the ocean side, and that's what Carolla's talking about. But let's play more. Trying to pull permits.

when the guys in the Winnebago's will have been back for months, months before those guys ever get a permit. As a matter of fact, good fucking luck because here's the deal. Alan Hamill and Suzanne Summers moved because they could not get a permit to rebuild their home of 40 years on the ocean on PCH, right? So here's what's going to happen. Let me just give you guys a little primer of what's going to happen.

You know how Bill Maher seems real conservative now when he's like arguing with Jane Fonda about regulations, too many regulations, like strangling everything? Because remember, when Bill Maher tried to put solar in his house in Beverly Hills, that's when he turned against the government because he saw what the government and the overreach of government and overregulation does. He got strangled. It took him three years to build a solar shack.

Wow. He had a whole countdown on his show, you know, day 1,000 since I've got my permit for my show. He turned. Okay. The people who live in Malibu, who live in Santa Monica, who live in the Palisades, those are some of the most progressive blue voters in the world or in the United States. They are a bastion of blue.

So what those guys did is all the people in the Palisades, I checked it out. It's about 80% blue, 80% progressive, 80% Democrat. Now, these pussies are all sitting around crying about Karen Bass, water pressure. How come the forest wasn't cleared of all the brush? What's happening with the infrastructure?

You guys all voted for Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles. You all voted for Gavin Newsom. And now you fucking get what you get. Oh, now that your house is on fire. Well, now you're thinking about something else. Now you want to know what's going on. What's going on around here? You didn't give a shit about what was going on when other people's houses were on fire. But now you care. So here's what's going to happen.

So he goes on to make this point. Epic, epic rant, Adam Carolla. I've been an Adam Carolla fan basically my whole life. The dude gets it. This is amazing. He's basically saying all these people, they're now going to realize what's going on. They're going to convert. I'm telling you, these are the bluest people on the planet, and they're going to effing rip when the Coastal Commission tells them to eff off.

We're going to have to restructure the whole thing because we can't have nine angry lesbians controlling everything that goes on in Malibu, the Palisades and Santa Monica. I think so. There's a question about how is this happening? Well, let me let me show you the story. The Daily Beast says MAGA blames homeless in deranged California fires theory. These people are evil. Listen.

My liberal friends that live in these places, they're not evil people. They're just ignorant. They don't pay attention. They don't care. That's the problem. I can call them, I don't know, indifferent and I can call them lazy. They bear some responsibility. It's the banality of evil. But these are the kind of people that.

You know, if if if your car broke down, they drive out to pick you up, help you get your car towed. If you had an emergency, they'd lend you the money to say to help you out. But when it comes to the bigger picture, they don't pay attention. And I think they deserve some blame for that. But these are people that I think helped us win this election. It is people like this that came to their senses and ended up voting for Donald Trump.

And voting for the Republicans because they realized. So I leave the door open for those that don't pay attention and don't care to wake up and come do the right thing. This right here, these people, they know they're lying. MAGA blames homeless. It's not a deranged theory at all. It's a fact. Now, the question about whether or not these fires were started by homeless people, we don't know for sure. But the reason why the theory is floated is because homeless people start fires.

They say, well, California is a homeless population of around 187,000. There are other important factors that contribute to its penchant for wildfires or just climate change. These people are deranged cultists who will lie. What do we know? They don't do forest floor management. They didn't hire enough firefighters because they didn't want more white men. They cut the fire department budget by 17 million dollars. They didn't refill their reservoirs. And today, Gavin Newsom says, well, the locals will figure it out.

And you want to tell me climate change? They are burning their own city to the ground and then blaming some nebulous concept they can't prove. Come on. One of them all dives going to go underwater. When's Miami going to go underwater? What about Martha's Vineyard? They've been screaming this stuff for 50 years. Well, 40 years.

Now, by all means, climate changes. I think it's fair to say that scientists are looking at evidence of climate change. I'm not saying that's not the case. I'm saying there's no way to prove that what they see climate change wise causes wildfires. Famously, AOC was in D.C. when storm sirens went off because there was a tornado warning. And she goes, this is climate change. And it's like, dude, AOC, have you stopped to consider why it is that D.C. has storm sirens? Maybe it's because for generations, storms have existed in D.C.,

It would be weird if a tornado hit an area where there were no storm sirens. But these people don't get it or they don't care. Now take a look at this. Liz Churchill posts, unbelievable. This is arson. It's a video where you can clearly see a fire started in a parking lot. It's an intentional fire that was started by somebody. They say, Andrew Huberman.

He's the one who actually tweeted this out. He said, people are lighting fires in otherwise non-burning urban areas of L.A. Saw this happen firsthand at 302 Pico in Santa Monica. Called it in and fire department and police responded. Stay safe and call in any activity ASAP. We don't need any more flames out here. So, yeah, they're doing it. We then have this. We covered this the day the fires broke out.

2024 sees rise in fires in Bakersfield suspected to be started by homeless people. Oh, is that an unhinged conspiracy theory? How about not that page? This one homeless campfire raises concerns during freezing weather from Austin. How about this one? Back to back fires at homeless camps. Minneapolis firefighters concerned city could see more. How about this one? Muskogee sees rise in fires as cold weather drives homeless into vacant buildings. How about this one?

Huntington mayor speaks out about the drug and homelessness issue after abandoned building catches fire overnight. Need I say more? And then we get this. These people are evil. They are deranged evil. This guy tweets, I am watching the Hollywood Hills burn not far from my home, and I am overcome with rage and contempt that our president elect is berating our mayor and governor rather than showing some solidarity with the citizens of this country he claims to love. Let me make it clear for you.

Trump calling for the resignation of the man responsible for this problem is the appropriate maneuver. Donald Trump saying these people have destroyed your home and they must be removed from power is the appropriate response. But there are going to be people who say it's climate change. Maybe if we tax people more, it'll stop the wildfires. That is the epitome of cognitive incapability. I remember having a debate on X yesterday.

This was during like 2020. And we were talking about supply chain. And I love I had a debate with the Great Britain Socialist Party, too. But this guy, I said, I was like, there's a supply chain at play here. Like, where do you think your food comes from? And he goes, he responds with the store.

And I said, what do you mean the store? The food comes from somewhere. He's like, what are you talking about? The milk is at the store. And I said, yes, but the milk is delivered to the store on a truck that comes from a processing plant that buys the dairy and vats from the farms. And he goes, what are you talking about? The milk is at the store. And I went, oh, my God, these people vote. I got an argument with the Great British Socialist, Great Britain Socialist Party. It's funny. I was like.

What happens if after you implement socialism, you like want to build a car for like a vanity project? They're like, you'd go to the auto parts store and they would just give you one for free. And I'm like, oh, yeah, for free, huh? Yeah, these people are insane. One of my favorite memes. They said, what are you going to do once communism succeeds? And then someone responded with, I will teach art classes on my farm. And the response was your farm. These people are insane. They don't get it.

Life is an endless struggle against the forces of nature that would destroy us. We are entities designed to fight chaos and build order. That's what we do. You can't just sit back and be like, well, nature dictates. You need to look around and be like, maybe you can do things to organize and control. It's fascinating. The party of science can't take 10 minutes to be like, we can't.

control our surroundings. Dude, beavers can build dams. Y'all can rake the forest floors. Well, I think Newsom should resign. I think Trump is right. But we'll stay. We'll stay on the story. Stay. Stick around. More to come. Smash the like button. Share the show with everyone, you know, become a member at Timcast dot com. Thanks for hanging out. And we'll see you all in the next segment coming up at noon. Welcome to the nightmare, my friends. I mean, this stuff really freaks me out.

My heart aches over what's going on in California. It's one thing to see a disaster when you don't know anybody. And it's sad because, you know, we have empathy.

This really funny tweet that, you know, Phil Labonte brought up on Timcast IRL last night where research finds that conservatives tend to care about people, friends, family. And I kid you not, it said liberals tend to care about inert things. They're more likely to care about rocks than people. I'm like, that sounds shockingly offensive. Like, come on, really? But anyway, I digress.

I see these stories, you know, about a hurricane in some far off land. I don't really I know. I know some people in North Carolina, but nobody really affected. I'm still saddened by it. Still worried about it with the L.A. wildfires. Man, I lived in California for a couple of years. I've played music. I've skateboarded. I have friends who work in music and acting. And for all the disasters that have come out, this one actually hits at friends that I've known for my whole life.

And so I'm not trying to come off as callous or anything like this, but there is a reality in that it hits you really hard when these disasters target your friends. Right. I'm not. Let's be honest. You know, we lament the tragedy that humans face. But when you see a loved one staring down the barrel of a major national natural disaster, it hits you that much harder. So I see this story.

Pictures of the Hollywood sign on fire, sparking fears that it was at risk. It's an A.I. hoax. And everybody's sharing this stuff. I lived in Los Angeles only for a couple of years. But man, do I have amazing memories. And this is what really pisses me off about how the Democrats operate. And I know, I know. Here we go. Political. But no, I'm going to say it, man. I mean, this is reality.

I used to go with my friends and we'd hike up to the Griffith Observatory. If you could call it a hike, you're climbing a mountain. Often we just drive up there. The Griffith Observatory is incredible. And for everybody who lives in the L.A. area who's ever visited and you've been there, you know just how amazing it is. And I think it's in a bunch of movies. It's an iconic location. And the Hollywood sign is not too far away.

So we'd always see it up on the hill as we're coming up to Griffith. And I had friends that would sneak up there and people would hang out and they'd drink. I think I was, what, like 23 when I lived in L.A. Was I 23? I barely remember, man. It's been so long. But there's a lot of people that I deeply care about and a lot of memories I have for going to these iconic locations. And to hear the Hollywood sign was on fire, like, it's like getting punched in the chest. Like, no way, man. Look.

There's bad people. There's evil people. There's child abuse. It's been going on for a long time. Let me tell you, my friends, we want to take our institutions back. We don't want them to burn. And this one really freaked me out. But people, this is the AI apocalypse. I mean, I'm being somewhat facetious, but let me let me show you some of this and then we'll read the story and we'll talk about where we're at. This dude posted the Hollywood sign is on fire.

I mean, this one looks very fake, to be completely honest. And it only got 5,000 views. But hey, there's more. This person found posted a different one with 142,000 views. The Hollywood sign is on fire. This one looks a bit more real. Still kind of fake, though. Then we have this.

Kim Katie USA even follows me, appears to have gotten hoaxed by this video. I don't know if they made it themselves, but they uploaded this video originally. And it says Hollywood Hills landmark sign nearly on fire as fires rage. This is fake. The community note says, well, the video does indeed go hard in the context of an ongoing news story. It should be noted this particular footage is AI generated. The Hollywood sign itself does not have fire around it.

The Hollywood sign, for those that don't know, here's another video uploaded. Once again, it's like the same video. And it says the view of Hollywood sign is wicked. It's just not real, man. It's not okay. It is nightmarish where we are headed right now with how people just, they don't care. Man, let me tell you guys, we humans have a sickness. And I'm sorry, but it's true. There are some people that are motivated by...

I don't know. I don't know how you describe it. Me, I'm motivated by, you know, I got to be honest. I don't know. Like I press record on the camera to talk because I want to do it.

I will say this, youtube.com slash Timcast, my first YouTube channel, we are relaunching the 4 p.m. video essays. I saw one comment. They said, boy, this sounds scripted. I'm like, there's a big difference between my morning show off the cuff, unscripted. I talk about whatever I feel like talking about and the essay, which is meant to be hard informational with sources and a little bit of opinion flair sometimes. But yeah, much more scripted. The Timcast videos are half and half, right? This video is just...

It's off the cuff, right? And so I guess my point is this. There are people who are motivated by desperately wanting attention. And I don't get it. I really don't. How do I get to a place like this? And how do these people get to the place where they're posting these hoaxes and causing distress to people? And for what reason? Honestly, I have no idea. Some people just want to post fake images or they're tricked by them and then repost them because they don't pay attention. Me?

You know, I try to avoid this every step. Like, I get it. Sometimes people make mistakes. But I think a lot of these people are posting it intentionally because they want views. They want to feel important. When I was younger, I remember being a teenager and I learned how to do a 360 flip on my skateboard. Who cares if you know what the trick is or not?

But to me, I felt like the king of kings. I was just like, I landed that and I was like, yeah, I'm the best. Meanwhile, there's like 5 million people substantially better than me at skateboarding. For me, the motivation was always internal. I just cared about being me and improving myself. So for videos like this and the content that I make, it is always just about me thinking something and wanting to talk about it.

For the 4 p.m. videos, the reason I draw a distinction is because the motivation there is to create something a bit more informative with a team that strikes much better at the heart of these issues. Where I think we're going with this AI stuff is that more and more people are going to fabricate fake news for attention. And we're not always going to be able to catch it. This brings us to a dark place.

Take a look at this story from CNN. Meta scrambles to delete its own AI accounts after backlash intensifies. Dude, Meta outright said they're going to make fake accounts. They're going to make fake accounts.

Absolutely bonkers, man. Look at this. Meta promptly deleted several of its own AI-generated accounts after human users began engaging with them and posting about the bots' sloppy imagery and tendency to go off the rails and even lie in chats with humans. Now, I'll pause real quick. This is about their AI chatbots. But let me make sure I can pull this one up. Meta AI users. Let me see if I can find it. There's a bunch of these. Look at this, man. Let me pull this up. Insanity.

What is this? I'm not going to be an insider. Oh, I can't even look at the article anymore. Okay, let's get out of there. Here's the headline. Meta's dream of AI generator users isn't going anywhere. They're actually discussing creating users on Facebook and Instagram. They're telling you outright they're not going to be real people. The dead internet theory come to life. If you're not familiar with dead internet theory, let me see if I can pull up this tweet.

Dead internet theory is just a fact. Now take a look. This is a tweet that went viral a while ago. Culture Crave saying, Meta confirms they plan to add tons of AI generated users to Instagram and Facebook. They will have bios, profile pics, and can share content. Financial Times, Meta envisages social media filled with AI generated users. We're going to be living in fake reality.

And so the future that we're looking at now, this is rudimentary, my friends. The Hollywood sign is fine. I hope it remains that way because seeing this devastation is saddening. Not that I think Hollywood is, you know, innocent or anything. It's just we don't we don't want to see that stuff. You know what I mean? But here's where we're going to be in a few years, whether you like it or not. And we may already be here now. I've talked about bot attacks and bot farms and how they operate.

One easy way to know if you're under a bot attack or there's bot farms, it's harder if you have a smaller account because they don't engage with you. But for me, I've got 2.3 million followers on X. So if I make a post and I say, I like pancakes, the bot farms will say waffles are better. If I then respond with, I was talking about how I liked pancakes, but you know what? I've been convinced waffles are better. The bot farms will still attack you as though you said pancakes were better.

because they're rudimentary. Dead internet theory was the idea that around 2016, bot accounts overtook real humans on the internet. And we're largely talking to nobody. That is to say, maybe I'm staring at a camera right now talking to what I think is people, but it's really just fake numbers YouTube puts there.

Well, there's only one way I can tell that's not not the case in that whenever I go literally anywhere, people are like, I watch your show. And I'm like, well, at least that keeps me sane. Unless I don't know. It's like a Truman show thing. And everybody's just spying on me all the time. Don't check my browser history. I'm kidding. My browser history is boring. It's all news.

You know, and I will say this, too, for all the conspiracy theorists that are like they think weird, weird stuff's going on here at Timcast, like foreign influence. Dude, it is so boring. It's like the most exciting stuff we have going on here is the skateboarding and like special Mike jumping off buildings. I come to the computer. I Google search stuff and then I press record. Like, that's it. Where we're going to be. Dead Internet theory is taking over. That's where we're currently at.

I think it is true that the news and the users and everything you see, it's dominated by fake users. This is why Elon Musk was so desperate to get people to verify their accounts. I mean, for one, it helps sustain X. You're paying the bills. But more importantly, robot accounts weren't paying for it.

Elon had this funny post where he was like, if bots want to use this platform and manipulate people, they're going to pay me a lot of money to do it. Talk about brilliant. With all these foreign intel agencies trying to manipulate public opinion, he says, I can monetize that. And he did because the bots haven't stopped and many of them have purchased verification. But hey, props to Elon for stripping the funds away from making it a lot harder to do. Where do we go from here?

It's going to be fake all the way down. You know, if you thought it was going to be bad because an individual was posting fake photos or fake videos and trying to generate content, there's already a ton of fake women on OnlyFans and Instagram. And these guys who run a thousand profiles of fake women make bank. Well, why would Meta or any other platform allow some random person to do it when they can just do it? So where do we end up? There will come a day if that day is not already today.

Where you go on Instagram and you see you get suggested a video from some woman and it's her in Venice, Italy, and you like it. And then you follow her account because it's good travel. You like you think she's attractive. You send her a message, start talking to her. And it's just an AI generated bot that Facebook made to keep you entertained and attached so they can serve advertisements. Worse still,

The bot account might say something like, you know, I really like this suit. You should totally get one and send me a pic. And then you're like, oh, okay. And then you buy a suit for a couple hundred bucks or whatever, put it on and take a picture. And the bot's like, amazing. And it was an advertisement, a manipulation. That's where we're going, man. I think we may already be there. You know, posting this Hollywood sign is one thing, to be honest. But dead internet is here.

So I don't know how we navigate it because I got to be honest, my friends, I can't compete. You may say like, Tim, you got something special. You can press record and talk for 50 years. And I like listening to it. Thank you so much for listening to these shows. But I can't compete with an AI supercomputer, massive network that knows exactly what you want to see and can auto generate entertaining content. Can't do it.

Sooner or later, some company is going to come to me and they're going to say, Mr. Poole, we have so many hours of you talking. We can recreate your entire persona and then AI generate topics and content based on news that'll sound just like you. Yeah, I would never do that. Me, I'd rather live in a van down by the river. But you will live in the pod. You will eat the bugs. You will own nothing. You will be happy. Blah, blah, blah. You know, I met some people.

who have already told me that they are working on a program to do exactly this. I'm not going to call this person out. If they start doing it's discernible, maybe I will. But there's an individual and they're prominent. And they said, a company has come to them and said that based on scanning all of your YouTube videos, we can create an AI that will auto generate videos. You can just like GPT. It knows your persona. You can go to chat. I'm pretty sure you can do this right now. Here we go. I go to chat GPT.

Let's see. Write a short... Let's do this. Write a short explanation of dead internet theory in the style of Tim Pool. Here we go. Let's pull this one over. Look what it's writing. It says... Alright, so here's the deal. Dead internet theory. It's this idea floating around that most of the internet isn't real anymore, okay? That's really not in the style of Tim Pool because I wouldn't talk like that, but...

Like what you're seeing online, the tweets, the posts, the articles is not coming from actual people. It's AI bots, scripted interactions, corporate narratives, and all kinds of synthetic garbage flooding the web. The theory suggests that somewhere along the line, you know, it stopped being this open organic space for human interaction and turned into a controlled fake environment designed to manipulate opinions, boost certain agendas and keep you distracted. Real human voices drowned out. And honestly, when you look at how much AI generated content is already out there, it kind of makes you wonder how

How much of what we see is real? This is what some people are questioning. And honestly, I think it's worth talking about. I alter a little bit to make it more sound like me. But here's the point. I pull up JetGPT and tell it to do this. And it does. Let's try this. Now do it in the style of Alex Jones. Let's see what it says. Let me tell you something, folks. Dead internet theory is real. And it's a symptom of a larger, more sinister plan.

Shout out to Alex Jones, by the way. Let's try this. Let's try it as Ben Shapiro. I'm having fun. You can tell, right?

All right, folks, I can't do it. I've got like a virus. All right, folks, let's break it down logically because that inner theory is fascinating, but let's look at the facts. The theory posits that a significant portion of what we interact with on the internet, social media posts, comments, articles, isn't actually created by humans, but by bots, AI systems. I can't do a good Ben right now. Sorry, Ben, I can't. I've got like laryngitis or something. Here's my point. They already have scanned all of our videos. They already have scanned our social media posts and they replicate it.

They can already make AI videos. So there's this dude who was telling me that this company came to him and was like, we can take all your YouTube videos and we can automatically generate a video for you. You don't even have to make videos anymore. And the AI knows what people click on better than you do. So let me get this straight. I record a video. I think of a title. I talk. And because I'm slightly better at it than other people, I get more views. I make more money.

There's no way to compete with an AI that is like a gigantic tentacle monster that knows all and can target you better than anyone. And so that's where we're going, man. I wouldn't be surprised if within the next year, you don't even notice that your favorite podcast is completely AI generated. And people like me, not me, but people like me are sitting back sipping pina coladas and

skateboarding or playing football or Frisbee golf, whatever you call it. Meanwhile, the AI is automatically rendering perfect full podcast. We made the joke that Tim cast IRL is all AI generated. We do that all the time because there are people who are like, no way this is live. It's like, it's weird that people just don't believe we're live when we are, but we are, but no, I think we're a couple of years away. I think we're a couple of years away from you being able to open up a program and say, okay,

Hey, AI, make me a movie about Spider-Man in the 1800s fighting in the War of 1812 or something. And it'll do it. And it'll be indistinguishable from other movies. And it'll take like a couple hours to render. You'll come back and you'll be like, hey, look at this really funny movie. Already, you can go to suno.com and make music. Yo, we were skating.

And I went to Suno.com and I said, make me a song about Richie Jackson being the greatest skateboarder ever. And then Richie walks down, I press play, and it plays this rockabilly song where it's like, Richie Jackson is the greatest skater. And Richie was like, what's happening? Like, how is there a song about me right now? Who wrote this? Because the assumption is it takes a lot of time to go to a studio to plan it out. Not anymore. You snap your fingers. Now, if they're already doing AI video, if they're already doing AI music, if they're

What is the next massive library of content? Dude, I've got, let me pull the numbers real quick. Jumping over to our podcast here. I've got 1,838 episodes of TimCast Daily News. 1,300 episodes of TimCast IRL. Now I'll pause.

We actually have 1179 episodes. The reason why on the audio side is because we do a bonus Sunday uncensored episode. So check that out if you listen to Apple, Spotify. We've got 85 culture wars. All of that is me talking. And you know, the AI has already downloaded all of that stuff. There's lawsuits about it. Then we've got 716 episodes of pop culture crisis. Mary Brett, they're going to AI clone you. And what do you do?

People are going to start making AI clones of me saying things I never said. And then who believes what? This apocalypse is upon us, my friends. Dead internet theory is a nightmare scenario. I don't have the answers for you. I can only tell you they're doing it. So have fun, man. I don't mean to be so down, but it's going to get creepy and it's going to get weird.

The best we can do, community notes, I think is great. When it came to these fake photos out of Hollywood sign, you can see that they're basically calling it out. It's not real and they've got facts and evidence. So I'm glad that Elon launched this. I'm glad that Facebook is doing something similar. But man, we are soon to be ruled by AI overlords. A new podcast will emerge called like the Jack Johnson podcast or something. And people are going to be like, this is really good. And it's going to be fake.

It's going to be an AI generated automatic upload from a major corporation where they take the top trending news. It aggregates X posts and then a fake AI host you think is a real person talks about the news and they're going to source things faster than anybody else because they're plugged in. It is the machine. You know what? You can fight it all day and night, but maybe this is the way things go.

Smash that like button. Share the show with everyone you know. Become a member over at TimCast.com. Thank you all so much for hanging out. We'll see you all in the next segment. Derek Chauvin should be freed. Let's start with the most important statement of this. Derek Chauvin, for those that don't know, I assume most of you do, he is the officer that was charged in the killing of George Floyd. And at the time, many people, even prominent conservatives, were saying that, you know, this Derek Chauvin guy, he's got his knee on this dude's neck and he's got to be responsible for that.

And then we all watched the trial. We all saw the riots. And since then, more and more information has come out. Derek Chauvin should not be in prison. Now, if you want to argue, there's some charges there, perhaps maybe civil liability. But right now, we've got two massive breaking stories. The first of which is that over a dozen current and former officers say they believe MPD's Katie Blackwell perjured herself.

During Derek Chauvin trial, quote, every MPD officer knows that restraint was trained and every MPD officer knows it was trained as part of the MRT process. Current and former MPD officers said in a sworn in sworn declarations. Now, this story dropped a couple of days ago and there's been some viral videos. It appears that this individual may have perjured herself, but there's so much more. I mean, when you watched the trial, you knew something was wrong.

When the body cam footage got leaked because they didn't want to release it, something was wrong. Evil people have control of our institutions and we are pushing back. I hope that Donald Trump pardons Derek Chauvin at the federal level and then launches a conspiracy against rights charge against those in the state to try and seek this man's freedom. Now,

There's another major story. This one, fascinating. As of today, NPR News, judge indefinitely delays hearing over Chauvin's request to examine Floyd's heart tissue. Talk about a guy having his life destroyed and being railroaded over doing nothing wrong. I have no problem saying it, and I hope you all hear it, and I hope every liberal shares it. Derek Chauvin did nothing wrong. I'm sorry. That's a fact statement.

Let me break it down for you in the trial. Well, let's start from the beginning. Actually, George Floyd died. It's a tragedy. We we wish it didn't happen. I don't I don't like people dying. I mean, come on. They tried to put the blame on somebody because this is what the leftists do. This is what the commies, the Democrats, whatever you want to call them. It's what they do. They won't take responsibility. I'm sure they'll chop this video up because they don't want to admit what is true.

The body camera footage showed first that Derek Chauvin wasn't even there. He eventually was there, but hold on. So George Floyd is sitting behind the wheel of a car chewing on a speedball, which is meth and fentanyl and other drugs behind the wheel of a vehicle. I mean, it's dangerous, right? Okay, but he wasn't driving. But still, DUI is a DUI. They found the speedball.

So Chauvin gets pulled out and he gets detained. They decide they're going to arrest him. Someone called the cops because I think Chauvin or somebody had. I'm sorry, Chauvin. Floyd had tried. He's a counterfeit bill. So did I say Chauvin? OK, let's start again. Floyd was behind the wheel of a car chewing on a speedball. Chauvin was not there. The officers brought him over to an SUV where he started saying that he couldn't breathe well before he was placed on the ground.

What could have happened? Well, the leading theory among people who are critical of this whole process is that Floyd was overdosing. He was chewing on a speedball. And so, yeah, he couldn't breathe when they tried putting him in the SUV. He said, take me out, put me on the ground several times. And they did. And Derek Chauvin still was not on scene. They placed him on the ground because George Floyd asked to be placed on the ground and

Now, Derek Chauvin eventually shows up, takes control of the situation and does place his knee on the upper back and neck portion. I'm saying it's both because it was both of George Floyd. Now, the medical examiner said that Floyd died from, you know, this restraint. Now, here's why I'll say here's why I will say Chauvin did nothing wrong. You know, they criminally charged every officer involved. Even the feds did. Why?

There was one cop who was simply holding back a crowd and they criminally charged him too. What did he do? Now you may be saying, this is ridiculous, Tim. He put his knee on that man's neck. Uh-huh. And he was told to do it. Therein lies this story. The question about his training.

In the trial, they brought up that the restraint Chauvin used is what he was told to use. How can we exist as a society when our police department says this is the practice, you do it, and then they put you in prison? Not to mention Chauvin got stabbed multiple times. It's insane. So here is a guy showing up late to the scene using a restraint he's told to use. And now he is the man in question that they're trying to destroy. At one point in the trial,

They talked about the continuum of the use of force and the the prosecutors even acknowledged. Oh, I should say when the prosecutors were asking witnesses based on the use of force protocol, the city has Derek Chauvin would have been entitled under Minneapolis police training to escalate the use of force. And he chose not to. I mean, that's exculpatory.

You claim he wanted to kill George Floyd. He intentionally used less force than he was entitled to. He was entitled to tase the man and he did not do it. After learning this, as well as the potential heart tissue issue, as well as an officer potentially perjuring herself, you have to wonder if Derek Chauvin should not even be in prison. Right? Me.

Well, I kind of have my conclusion. Why? Because it's beyond a because it's not beyond a reasonable doubt. There is doubt that Derek Chauvin is responsible for this man's death. And any amount of doubt means we shouldn't be locking him up. Here's the story from Alpha News. Fourteen current and former police officers with the Minneapolis Police Department have signed sworn declarations, which they say they which say they believe MPD assistant chief Katie Blackwell perjured herself when testifying in former officer Derek Chauvin's murder trial.

Specifically, the group of former officers say they believe Blackwell perjured herself when she testified in court that the restraint method Chauvin used to subdue George Floyd in May 2020 was not part of MPD officer training. In that trial, Chauvin was found guilty. We know. However, many say the neon neck restraint Chauvin employed was trained under the maximal restraint technique, a restraint that MPD taught and allowed until 2023. Those 14 statements.

We're among dozens of declarations submitted by lawyers representing Alpha News in a defamation lawsuit brought by Blackwell last October against Alpha News. This week, lawyers for Alpha News filed a 113 page motion with 592 footnotes to have the case dismissed with prejudice. Quote.

With this motion, 33 former MPD officers who served with Blackwell and one who currently serves with her have sworn that MPD trained this restraint as part of the maximal restraint technique. And otherwise, indeed, 14 of these officers have sworn under oath their belief that Blackwell perjured herself. Hey, take a look at this. Photos from MPD officers that depict MPD training of knee on neck restraints. So what does that mean?

Chauvin approached the situation with limited information, used the training he was given, and for this, they have destroyed his life and the lives of the other officers involved. I'll say it again. Death is a tragedy. I wish George Floyd did not die. But there has to be some accountability to a man who is chewing on meth and fentanyl, a speedball, they call it, behind the wheel of a car committing a crime, and they tried to detain him.

You do not get to be a criminal and then blame those seeking to bring about order. Death is a tragedy. I believe perhaps there's some kind of civil penalty, maybe. I think the solution here is probably that MPD should not employ such tactics, if that be the case. Instead, instead of accepting responsibility for their policies, their procedures, they have destroyed the life of this man, Derek Chauvin.

Blackwell market remarkably claims that Colin and Chai defamed her when they opined. It seemed like Blackwell lied. In reality, this opinion was far more generous than necessary. It is a fact, says the motion. The heartfelt support that numerous Minneapolis police officers, current and former, have shown our clients has deeply moved and humbled us. It is emblematic of the courage they have shown us every day. It's really incredible.

You can see here Sergeant Katie Blackwell making an arrest at the U of M hockey riots. And here she is. It looks like she may be employing that neon neck technique. I don't know for sure. It appears that Katie Blackwell was employing the knee to neck upper shoulder restraint that I described in the declaration in the picture I included in paragraph five above. Fascinating. Now on to the big story here.

December 16th, Minnesota Star Tribune reported Derek Chauvin allowed to examine George Floyd's heart tissue in challenge to federal conviction. And what did we get?

That's it. A federal judge has indefinitely delayed a hearing over Minneapolis officer Derek Chauvin's efforts to examine George Floyd's heart tissue. The Minneapolis Police Department this week welcomed the largest, most racially diverse incoming class of new hires to its department in more than five years. And North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley says Fargo police officers were justified during an officer involved fatal shooting, blah, blah, blah. I hope.

Met Harmeet, Pam Bondi, Cash, unleash the gates of hell on these evil people. I am not happy that George Floyd died. Derek Chauvin operating in a machine that they built is not personally responsible for what he's instructed to do as an officer attempting to maintain order. If Chauvin acted with reckless disregard and malice, then you charge him. If a cop breaks the law, lock him up.

But if we ask police officers to engage in these actions and use force and we give them guidelines and they follow it and then you lock them up, the system will crumble. And that's their intention. So I say I hope that Trump, his administration, unleash the gates of hell on these evil, evil people. There's so many people who need pardons. And I hope Trump does it right away. Chauvin was charged federally and at the state level.

They should pardon him federally. Trump should do it. Launch a conspiracy against rights investigation into Minneapolis, into Minnesota. And I believe the Supreme Court should overturn this conviction completely. However it gets done, I don't know. But I'll wrap it up there. It's a horrible story, man. Horrible. We got more segments coming up, so stick around. You can follow me on X and Instagram at Timcast. Become a member at Timcast.com. Thanks for hanging out. We'll see you all in the next segment. On January 20th,

This month, Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the president. And oh boy, there are a lot of events. We personally got invited to a bunch of podcasting events and award ceremonies and parties. And someone reached out to me about going to the inauguration. And I'm like, I don't think that's for me. I'm not a suit kind of guy standing out there in zero degree weather. So...

But I mean, maybe I should. I don't know. We'll see. Well, Ben and Jerry's has a plan. Leftists have been talking about storming D.C. to stop Trump from becoming president. And you may be saying, Tim, I don't care about an ice cream company. They're owned by Unilever. And this is all fake outrage. But let me tell you why this matters. In this post, Ben and Jerry's newsletter says, join us at the People's March, January 18th, Washington, D.C. and everywhere.

They basically say that they're gonna have a big rally and they're gonna challenge Trump and do all of that stuff. But it is much more nefarious than just this. The reason why I often say that the left is more violent than the right. Let's break it down. First, the left has something called diversity of tactics. I bring it up quite a bit. I hope you've heard it. This means that among leftist groups of disparate ideologies, they unite and allow each other and support each other's diverse tactics.

So does that manifest? Ben and Jerry's says we're going to peaceful march. It's peaceful, you know, a peaceful march. And then the far left extremists show up with bricks and water bottles and hammers and whatnot. And when they do, the organizers for events like Ben and Jerry's, I don't know about their specifically, but organizers show up and say, respect the diversity of tactic. So if you show up and say, hey, get those guys out of here, they're violent. They say, whoa, whoa, whoa.

Not everybody agrees on how to change the world. Respect the diversity of tactics. The right doesn't do that. First of all, the right barely protests as it is. And there is no unified right. It's a disparate collection of various ideologies that only united around Trump this one time. I mean, in 2016, Hillary just sucked and people didn't want to show up. 2024, massive. Trump wins bigly.

Andy knows got the tweet. He says leftist ice cream corporation Ben and Jerry's, which is owned by Unilever. I'm going to fact check that right now just because Ben and Jerry's because I'm pretty sure they're owned by Unilever, which is important. Yeah, it's parent company is Unilever. OK, they're helping to organize a direct action against fascism on January 18th to oppose the inauguration of Trump.

Ben and Jerry's company politics is notoriously radical. They gave food to rioters, the violent Chaz, in Seattle 2020, and released propaganda demanding the defunding of law enforcement. They also advocate for the transitioning of children. This is Unilever. Yo, that's really weird. Unilever, British multinational fast-moving consumer goods company. Excuse me, founded in 1929.

Following the merger of British soap maker Lever Brothers and Dutch margarine producer Margarine Uni to make Uni Lever. Isn't that funny? It's a soap company who merged with a margarine company. Disgusting, by the way. And they do it all. Certainly they do it all. Well, here we go. We got some posts here from Andy Ngo. Ben and Jerry's posted this defund the police scooping ice cream.

We stand with Georgia's trans youth and those who love them. This is corporate evil, if you were to ask me. They've got this post on Ben and Jerry's. Dear President-elect Trump, they say. Whoa, does your new title sound as weird to you as it does to us? No. Well, we'll all get used to it quickly. No, you won't, because he'll be president in a couple weeks, in a week and a half.

They say on Tuesday, blah, blah, blah. We disagree, but we understand you defied the political pundits in the polls and racked up a big win by tapping into something political. It was a rough campaign. There are those that claim the country is deeply polarized, but we know. And here's another thing we can definitely agree on. There's far more that unites us than divides us. You had it right in your speech to all Republicans and Democrats and independents. I say it's time for us to come together. So then why are you organizing this massive protest? Hypocrisy. It's a marketing stunt.

Now, I'll tell you why this stuff matters. I want to show you this comic, which is really, really funny. And then we'll talk about how the left views the world. It's called How It's Going to Happen. And in the first panel, let me let me zoom in a little bit for you. There's a rabbit talking to what I guess is another rabbit. And he says, and on top of all that, he's literally Hitler. November 2024. And the other rabbit says, I'm still not going to vote by March 2025.

The nonchalant rabbit goes, he's imprisoning his political opponents. And the other guy says, yep, told you so. By June of 2025, he goes, he shot protesters and that late night comic. And the other guy goes, told you so. By August 2025, he goes, Ukraine and Taiwan are just gone. Told you so. And now the funny thing is the told you so rabbit is like injured. It's like his arm is broken.

Here's the best part. By December of 2025, he goes, he's running for a third term unopposed. Bro, he's not going to announce he's running for a third term, not even one year into his first year. And then now the funny part is the other rabbit's ears have been like lopped off and his arm has been amputated. I told you so.

January 2026, while deporting 10 million immigrants, 5 million have died. He's literally Hitler and is creating a Holocaust. Do something. And then it's the nonchalant rabbit looking at a tombstone. And he's like, well, you got to do something. What good are you? OK, let me just these these people are psychotic. OK, when they view the world in this way and then you get Ben and Jerry's organizing this rally. This is the M.O.,

Ben and Jerry's. It's just an ice cream company. It's a peaceful protest. Tim, you are paranoid. No, I've covered these things on the ground for over a decade. I know the game they play. They are unified somewhat. They say Antifa is not an organization. Sure, they fly the same flag, have the same ideology, but different branding in different cities. And they lie and say Antifa

It's a bunch of autonomous cells. They don't operate together. Well, yeah, unless they have to, which is what they do most of the time. So if there's a protest in Chicago, then South Bend Antifa and Milwaukee Antifa and Dubuque Antifa all show up in Chicago flying the same flags unified. And they say it's not an organization. Technically correct. So why are we concerned about the Ben and Jerry's protest? Here's the game.

Liberals will organize a peaceful protest using a large and prominent vehicle that reaches as many people as possible. They'll say it's our First Amendment right to be peaceful. When tens of thousands of people show up, a small element of far left extremists show up masked, wearing hoodies and carrying weapons. If any of the run of the mill Ben and Jerry's fans complain, there are going to be organizers who say, hey, hey, respect the diversity of tactics. OK, they're going to protest how they want.

The large, peaceful protest they call the Green Zone. Then you have the aggressive people who sit in, block cars. That's the Yellow Zone. And then you have the far left Antifa, the Red Zone. They organize this intentionally behind the scenes. Now, for Ben and Jerry's, they may not know or be involved or anything like that. But when they allow and refuse to denounce far left extremism, they are creating cover in order for Antifa to get violent. Excuse me.

They need cover. So on Trump's first inauguration in 2017, they call it J20. There were hundreds of far leftist smashing cars, starting fires, smashing windows. How are they able to do it? Because large groups of people show up to protest, creating cover for them. The right doesn't do this. The right barely protests. This is the deranged worldview of these people who are vapid and disconnected,

And these ignorant people who show up with smiles on their faces for free ice cream create a mass of bodies that the extremists hide within. And here's where it gets dirty. The larger strategy of these protesters is that when the likes of Ben and Jerry stumble into this peaceful march, the yellow zone and the red zone extremists intentionally try to get the Ben and Jerry's people arrested. OK, I'm using Ben and Jerry's people as like a general statement.

When a college kid who's never protested before shows up and they're holding up a little sign and they're walking peacefully, they are shocked to find they're being arrested. And why? Well, when they respect the diversity of tactics and the far left bashes a cop in the face, the cops start arresting people. This run of the mill college kid who has no idea what's going on finds himself kettled, they call it, wrapped up and loaded into a police vehicle. They're now scared. What's going on? Why am I here? I didn't do anything. They're then put in jail, which is horrifying.

And as they're sitting there in jail, terrified, confused, the extremist goes, see, the police are evil. You did nothing wrong. But the far left is to intentionally attack cops to provoke a response. And then they sing songs in jail. The activists will say, let's sing a song in solidarity. Who knows Bohemian Rhapsody? And then everyone, they all sing together and they say, dude,

This is why you got to join us. We're having a meeting next week. You should show up. It's how they create more radicals. Now, I'm not blaming Ben and Jerry's for anything. I'm only explaining how the far left manipulates these things in order to expand. That's how you have these psychotic leftist factions, because they organize this way. The right doesn't do it. So, my friends, here's what I think is going to happen.

I'm going to be down there in D.C., as are many other people. And I was down there during the deplorable in 2017, and we were physically attacked. Bricks and rocks were being thrown at the press club while the party was happening. They're going to do something similar. The far left will show up. They will attack people. They will target people and there will be violence. And on the 18th, don't be surprised if you see mass riots and Ben and Jerry's going, oh, gee, oh, golly, we had no idea.

much more straightforward news segmenty type things. And we're getting there. We're getting there. We're working on it. We're bringing it back. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the off the cuff. I record how I feel like it, right? But the original videos I used to make were much more planned out and partially scripted. Thanks for hanging out. We'll see you all at four at youtube.com slash Tim cast as the wildfires rage on in California. Polly market has a prediction. Will the fires be put out by tomorrow? 2%. Yeah, no, they're saying no.

There's a lot of questions about why. Well, over at YouTube.com slash Timcast, we put up our 4 p.m. video. So check it out. Breaking down how this is a failure of leadership. But diversity, equity, inclusion plays a big role. Well, my friends, you don't need to take it from me. I got the proof. We got a video depicting a fire department talking about how diversity will make us better at fighting fires. But we got this lead story.

Adam Carolla says he was rejected from L.A. Fire Department because of his race. Duh. This is crazy to me because I've known about this my whole life. My dad was a firefighter for 20 some odd years in Chicago. Everybody knows this. If you're a white man and you apply to be a firefighter, get out. Not interested because they are racists and they are evil people. There's no real reason for doing these things. They're just racist, evil people. Sorry. That's simple.

Now, they're going to try and claim, oh, it's about having a diverse group and different worldviews. But race doesn't determine this. Adam Carolla has this really epic takedown of Gavin Newsom.

Where Newsom says that black and Latino people largely don't have access to bank accounts. And he goes, why is that? And he's like, I don't know. And he's like, is it because of their genetics? And Newsom's like, no, of course not. And he's like, so it's only black and Latino. Why is this happening to them? And he's like, well, it happens to white people too. And Crowley goes, oh, so everybody has this problem. Do Asians have it? He goes, yes. Why is that? He's like, I don't know. He's like, we put Asians in concentration camps. He goes, yes, maybe that's it. We didn't do it to black and Latino people.

Epic takedown of the psychotic racist ideology that makes no sense. But I got two videos for you. I have three videos for you. I want to show you what Adam Carolla had to say. But more importantly, I want to play for you this video from Fire Rescue on YouTube. How DEI can create a stronger fire department. You ready for this one?

Diversity, equity and inclusion, or DEI, are more than just words. They represent a framework for creating fair and equitable environments in the fire service where everyone has a seat at the table. But what do these concepts truly mean, and how do they work together to build stronger fire departments?

Okay, I'll accept that. We want a wide range of views. What does that have to do with race, and why are they then showing a black man?

because black people's brains are working differently than white people's, so they have different ideas. That's racist, and I reject that outright. But diversity alone isn't enough. Equity ensures that all members of the team have equal access to opportunities, resources, and support. Unlike equality, where everyone gets the same thing, equity recognizes that people have different needs and works to provide what they require to succeed. In practice,

Equity means addressing systemic barriers and providing personalized tools and resources to help each individual thrive. So when Adam Carolla applies and you say no white men allowed, that's equity?

What happened to your diversity? Well, to enforce diversity, which is only skin deep apparently, you have to have equity, which means white people need not apply. Whether it's hiring practices or access to training and development, equity creates an environment where everyone can grow and achieve success. Inclusion, the ultimate goal, is about creating a culture where every team member feels valued, respected, and supported.

It's not just about being part of the team. It's about belonging. Inclusion ensures that diverse voices are heard, respected, and considered in decision-making. It fosters an environment where individuals can be their authentic selves without fear of exclusion or discrimination. Together, diversity, equity, and inclusion form the pillars of a stronger, more effective fire department. It doesn't. It doesn't at all. What they're saying in this is largely redundant.

They're basically saying the same thing over and over again. We want diversity, different ideas that reflect the community so we can do things better. Yeah. So when someone comes and says, I am a doctor and the way we treat a bullet wound is that or how about this? I'm a doctor. And the way we treat a headache is aspirin or ibuprofen. They're called NSAIDs, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, inflammatory drugs.

And then we go, whoa, whoa, hold on. We need diversity over here. Let's bring in someone of a diverse background to hear their perspective. This person comes in and says, bloodletting. We have to drain the blood from the skull to make the pain go away. Get a nail, crack open their skull and drain the blood. No, we don't respect that at all. I don't care about your cultural diversity. Some things work and some things don't. Merit is what we want. And I'll tell you this.

Merit knows no race. I don't care if you're black or Latino or Asian or from the moon. If you can do the job, come do the job. Now, actually, I suppose if you lived on the moon, you'd have very weak bones and probably could not be a firefighter. So perhaps we'll have to consider that. But I guess if you have the merit to do the job, regardless of where you're from, well, then sure, why not? There's a question about alien immigration there, but you get the point. You see that video and they're basically like,

We want diversity because ideas matter. Also, here's a black man. I'm sorry. What is the implication of that? If you are black, your ideas will be inherently different. That's an absurdity. There are there's a great video from Jubilee where they bring in like 12 black dudes and one white guy and they're all blindfolded. And the game is figure out who's white. And the white guys like Dan can figure it out. So they keep asking.

Do you want to keep playing? And then they vote on who should be removed, who's white. And then they say, you have not removed the white person. They're like, what? And then they ask again, do you want to keep playing? And the white dude raises his hand and they're like, why do you want to keep playing? You've won. There's only four people left. And he's like, they ain't going to figure it out. He's like, I grew up in Compton, man. And so when when they finally realized this white guy sounded black, they were like, damn.

He sounded just like my cousin. He sounded just like me and my friends. And it's like, hey, maybe the race thing doesn't matter. But that's what they do. Here's Adam Carolla.

Geez, I want to talk about my white privilege so badly. I graduated North Hollywood High with a 1.7 GPA. I could not find a job. I walked to a fire station in North Hollywood. I was 19. I was living in the garage of my family home. My mom was on welfare and food stamps. And I said, can I get a job as a fireman? And they said, no, because you're not black, Hispanic, or a woman.

We'll see in about seven years. And I went to a construction site and dug ditches and picked up garbage for the next seven years. I got a letter in the mail sent to my father's house saying, your time has come to do the written exam for the L.A. Fire Department. I took it and I was standing in line and I had a young woman of color standing behind me in line. And I said, just out of curiosity, when did you sign up to become a fireman? Because I did it or a person.

seven years ago and she said Wednesday. That is an example of my white privilege. There you go, buddy. That's your white privilege, Adam Carolla. And they have a shortage of firefighters right now. So this is where we're at as a country. Here's a video for you. A new report shows the demographics of the Los Angeles Fire Department do not match those of the city, despite a pledge to diversify made by Mayor Garcetti last year.

Red may be the color most associated with the fire department, but in Los Angeles, it may as well be white. The vice president of the Board of Fire Commissioners says that is a problem. We all hear about the need for diversity in hiring, and it's time for everyone to step up. New data found that nearly every race besides Caucasian was underrepresented in the fire department when compared to the demographics of the city. One union representative says diversity does make a difference.

We absolutely should strive to have a diverse workforce. Having said that, the number one priority is that we have highly qualified, highly competent firefighters. But the disparity between the force and the population runs deeper than race. Of the 3,191 people employed, just 89 are women. Do I want to have women come behind me when I retire? Yes. No. Sorry, I ain't playing this game. I don't think women should be firefighters.

I'm only I'm only saying it to be offensive. In reality, I think women can be firefighters if they pass the test. Let me let me ask you this. You're in a burning building and I brought this up many, many times and you're choking out in the smoke and the door bursts open and there is a five foot tall woman saying, I'm sorry, I can't pick you up, but I'm a diversity hire. OK, I'd be very upset what I want to see. OK, when I'm in a burning building.

is the door burst open and there be a six foot three glistening, chiseled, ripped man with flowing, beautiful hair looking down shirt. You know, just he's got the white T-shirt and suspenders tucked into his pants for some reason. He's not wearing proper fire gear. I don't care. And he says, buddy, I'm getting you out of here. And he grabs me with one hand and he and he and he runs out of the burning building, saving my life. OK, so.

I want the most qualified, capable person to do it. And that can be a woman. See, I was being offensive. If the woman can carry the weight and do the job. But this idea of a woman for the sake of being a woman is insane. But let me give you another one. They say that the fire department doesn't reflect the community. California brings in illegal immigrants every day to the tunes of tens of thousands to millions. OK, and so when they have trained firefighters, they're

And then a year later, they've brought in 10,000 illegal immigrants. They go, whoa, how come we got so many white firefighters, but there's so many non-white people living here? It's like, well, you just imported all those people. You can't just assume you can snap their fingers and they're going to be firefighters. Many of these people were farmers or worked in factories. And that's where we're at. You cannot have mass migration. And at the same time, this requirement that the workforce reflect the demographic when you are intentionally changing the demographic every single day. Wow.

The problems that we see, man, it's unfortunate. But the problems that we see in California, man-made. I'll wrap it up there. Smash that like button. Share the show with everyone you know.
