The Tudor Dixon podcast, you can catch it every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on the iHeartRadio app. We talk about everything, politics, all the things that the guys are covering here. But today, we are excited because we are coming to you live from the Wood Radio Studios here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We've got a great show coming up for you. We are talking one-on-one with the U.S. Secretary of Education, Linda McClendon.
Kyle Olson
he's actually probably the reason that I'm here so I had him join me today I'm new to politics I got into this in about 2017 when Kyle pulled me out of the manufacturing sector but he's been doing this for a very long time so he's kind of my political sensei so he's here with me today Kyle say hello thank you and thanks for having me it's
What an honor it is to be with you today and for including me. To me, this time is hallowed ground. Noon to three was learning time when I was growing up. I remember watching Rush Limbaugh late at night on Fox News. I was in high school in the mid-1990s, and my youth pastor, Wally Kutz, who is now a pastor in Allegan, Michigan, would take me out to lunch sometimes, and for that eight-minute drive, he'd have Rush Limbaugh on the radio.
And at that time, it was like water in the desert. And, of course, that was a time when there was no Internet archive. There were no clips on social media. And so if you didn't hear it between noon and three, you missed it. But he impacted our generation and, I believe, paved the way for two terms of President Donald Trump. So...
It's a thrill for me to be here, and thank you to Clay and Buck for giving both of us this opportunity. Yeah, and honestly, that is what Kyle's upbringing is what brought me here. And we think every day, what would Rush Limbaugh think about what is happening right now? And I say that because...
We're watching the Democrat Party in total chaos. They have this Mondami situation in New York. They're trying to figure out exactly where they stand on it. You've had a lot of people who have come out and said they don't want to endorse him, but they're kind of they're shy about it. They're shy about it because they don't know where the Democrat Party is heading. I think what's interesting in what we're seeing with this new campaign,
Mandani, who is he is now the anointed mayor. Maybe he's been he made it through the primary. Generally, a Democrat who makes it through the primary in New York becomes the mayor. But this is very unique. He's a socialist. He's come out and said he is a socialist. Proudly. Yeah, proudly a socialist.
The New York Times, I think this is funny because this is very telling. The New York Times a few years ago came out and said they're not going to endorse in local elections anymore. They just want to be regular news. They're not going to do it. They're not regular news. They're Democrats. They endorsed against him.
Yeah, it's fascinating to watch because you have the element of the media, which you just described, but then you also have the party. And you have the situation where now a socialist is the Democrat nominee for the mayor of New York. He's got, I think, a very good chance of winning. We'll see how Eric Adams does as an independent candidate.
Can he mount the coalition that he did in 2021 to get reelected as an independent? That's going to be interesting to see. But you've got this situation where I don't know if quote-unquote mainstream Democrats actually exist anymore, but you have sort of the establishment Democrats who don't want to embrace Mamdani because they know he may be able to win in a place like New York City,
But can he win in marginal districts? Can he win in communities where socialism is not embraced? Well, not yet. Not yet. And they're not ready yet to go there. But the others, the leaders of their parties, are embracing this. They're cheering this on. And I think they have been for a long time. But the story of Mamdani, or whatever his name is, I think is...
something we have to kind of dig into because this is a kid who, as you aptly pointed out earlier, he's been groomed for this. He came here. He came to this country. He...
is a rich kid. He's a rich kid. Like, people need to understand. He grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. This is not a kid that's brought himself out of nothing. I mean, Eric Adams is really the guy who's brought himself up from nothing. But he wants to... He's like moderately rich, you know, in the millions. And I say that because he says he hates billionaires. And he's not
And when you can conveniently land in that spot, if your parents have millions of dollars, you can conveniently land in the spot where you are not going to be affected by all of the policies that you put into place. And you can try to attack the billionaire class, but you ultimately are creating this communist society. And the reason that this is, is because this is a kid who came into the United States. He went to college in
Maine. He graduated in 2014. He's also a kid. I keep saying that because he's young. He graduated in 2014 with a degree in African Studies. So I'm sure that's going to help him as mayor, you know, having that hardcore degree in economics. Oh, no, it's African Studies. And he also think about this. So he graduated in 2014. So it must have been like 2011, 2012. He graduated
he co-founds the school's chapter for Students for Justice in Palestine. I think a lot of people would be shocked to hear that because I think a lot of people would assume that that's something new that they're just hearing about. So think about this. More than 10 years ago,
this kid was already forming chapters of the organization who I will say I guarantee you that organization funded him this idea that he has a grassroots campaign in New York this charmer has gone around and just gotten all these people to come out of the woodwork there is massive money behind him sure and that's what happens is you've got
He's involved with the Democratic Socialists for America. He's very, he embraces them, you know, in a lot of ways that other socialists sort of, you know, they pretend like they're socialists, but he is, he is, he's embracing it in a very full-throated way. Yeah, let's listen to his own words. We've got cut one here. This is him saying this. The struggle for Palestinian liberation was at the core of my politics and continues to be.
So this is the core. He's saying it. So what does that mean? What does Palestinian liberation mean? It means it ends the quote-unquote occupation. I would argue that they don't want Israel to even be a state. No, it's from the river to the sea. It's to eliminate Israel. And so when he said, and this was 2023 he said this, at the Democratic Socialists of America convention,
when he said the struggle for Palestinian liberation was at the core of my politics and continues to be. That's his worldview. That's how he is going to view every decision that he is making, if he's in that position, in New York City. So Jewish voters... Is that pre or post-Jewish?
October 7th. I think that was pre, but I don't know the answer to that. Either one is scary. But Post, just two weeks after that, he is out there and he's screaming at Senator Gillibrand. Listen to this. This is cut to. The last thing I say is one more chance. Senator Gillibrand. We will. Not stop. Not stop. Until. Until. You come.
This is an activist. This is not. Yes, exactly. And so think about the situation that New York City voters are in. Here you have this guy. He literally says the last thing I have to say is one more chant.
It's not how do we create jobs, how do we make sure people can afford rent and groceries, all of those sorts of things. It's the last thing I have to say is one more chant, and then he's demanding a ceasefire. Now, don't forget, as you said, two weeks after October 7th, he is in the street with a bullhorn screaming so loud that his voice is cracking.
demanding a ceasefire. But it's the people behind him that make me nervous because that is not, I will say again, this is not an organic movement. This is a movement that is well-funded. I mean, people have said you go one day they've got Palestinian flags, the next day they've got Iranian flags. They didn't go out and buy those flags.
Someone is providing this. This is a well-funded organization. He has been groomed for this for years from this group of free Palestine, the river to the sea, these chants, which are death to Israel, death to America. You cannot tell me that's not what this means. And two weeks after women were murdered, women were raped.
rape. Children were dragged out of their homes. Their grandparents were killed in front of them. This is what this guy says in the most Jewish city in America. And people and Democrats will not condemn this. And let's be let's be honest. He also said has this statement out there, globalize the intifada. And he's been asked multiple times. He was asked three times just the other night. Do you condemn that kind of language?
And he won't answer the question. He says he doesn't condemn speech. So we're going to take a quick break here. But before we take this break, I just want to remind you guys that you can call into the show. We're going to take calls at the end of each hour. We want to hear... This is like...

Right now, I am excited because I'm coming to you live from the Wood Radio Studios in
In Grand Rapids, Michigan, I think you've heard Clay talk about Michigan because he's been in Michigan for a few weeks now, I think, and he's in northern Michigan. I saw him post something about how Michigan is a total gem, and he's exactly right. It is a total gem. I have Kyle Olson with me from The Midwesterner, and he's a lifelong Michigander, so you can speak to that. Yeah, it's a beautiful state, and I think it's been harmed by our leadership, which we're trying to change, but
But it's a great place to be. And you'll hear people talking about us being a border state. We are a northern border state. We border Canada. And there have been people that have been coming across Canada. So we actually, a few weeks ago, we had the Secretary of Homeland Security, Christine Ohm, in the state of Michigan. And she was talking about the importance of reducing border crossings and all this. And Trump...
Let's face it. President Trump has had an incredible week. He's got border crossings down to like nothing. He just got the big beautiful bill signed through the Senate. Egg prices are down. Gas prices are down. Things are going amazingly. But yesterday, Kristi Noem was interviewed and she said something that was terrifying.
Totally horrifying to me. She said that they had deported somebody who was a cannibal and she got a call while they were getting him out of the country that on the way out of the country, he started trying to eat himself and had to immediately be taken for medical attention. Right.
Right. And so this narrative that we see in the mainstream media is look at this person who, you know, look at this child that was arrested. Look at the families, you know, being separated and all of that. They're trying to isolate those those specific stories. But what the Trump administration is doing is is is rounding up these, you know, killers, murderers.
Rapist, murderers. Terrible people. And getting them out of the country. That has been their focus, is the violent...
etc., the people who should not be in the country. So you talk about these people and you all need to understand what the undercurrent is from the Democrats, from the socialists. They wanted these people here. And this wasn't a mistake. You have to understand it wasn't a mistake that Biden and Harris had the border open for four years. Now they're mad because they don't want these people to be pushed out of the country. These are their socialist voters. These in the
funny thing is the amount of times that I've heard these people go, who's going to clean my house? Who's going to nanny my kids? I'm like, really? That's your argument. These people, I own these people. How can you send them away? I mean, they have no shame in treating people like they're not humans, but they say that's what's happening when we take
Truly dangerous people out of the country. But I bring this up because there is this new app out there and CNN. I want to play cut seven because CNN talked about this new app and they talk about it like this is some fantastic piece of equipment here. Here's what they had to say about this new app.
One tech developer is pushing back with an app designed to track ice activity in real time. It's called IceBlock, and it's controversial to say the least. Senator Claire Duffy is with us now. How does this work, Claire, and what are the legal implications?
Yeah, John, I talked with Joshua Aaron, who is the longtime tech worker who developed this platform, and he said he really wants it to be an early warning system for people about the location of Immigrations and Customs Enforcement officers. So he says he does not want people interfering with those officers' activity, but he does want people to be able to avoid them altogether if they want. So you open the app. It looks like a map, and users can tap the map to report an ICE sighting in their area and then
Everybody who uses the platform within five miles of that sighting will get a push alert. This is a free iPhone app. It is anonymous. This is insane to me. And she's out there on CNN pushing this like she's selling it. I mean, she sounded like a salesperson for this app. Yeah.
You've heard people criticizing ICE for having these masks on. Remember, these people who are going out and busting these guys, they live in these communities. They're being doxxed. Now you've got an app to say this is where they are. Go after them. And she says she goes on to say in that interview, well, he doesn't want them to go interfere. He's just this is just a warning system. Baloney. Right.
Yeah, what they want is a confrontation. They want confusion. They want chaos, which, of course, creates very dangerous situations for the ICE agents, for local police, state police, sheriffs.
people that are going in again to arrest dangerous felons, people who are wanted for horrible crimes either in America or in their home country. There's a new website. I don't know if you've heard of this. It's called Deported.News. Deported.News, and they're publishing stories every single day. And to me, one of the most important parts of the site
is they actually have a captured section where they're profiling all of these sorts of people. So you know these are not good people. So as you're hearing the horror stories, what they want to be horror stories from CNN, you can go on that site and you can see mugshots, names, home countries,
crimes, etc. And it's all listed right there. And so as they are pushing this narrative that, oh, these are just poor farm workers from different countries, no, these are cold-blooded killers, terrorists, rapists,
robbers, terrible people that should not be in our country. The sob stories make me sick. I mean, yesterday we were hearing that they were comparing these people who have committed horrific crimes, in some cases have murdered people, as you just said, raped people. Oh, these poor people, they're having to hide like Anne Frank. What an insult on so many levels to even compare...
And Frank's situation to this, it's discussed. That's how sick they are. This is the manipulation of the left. And it's something that we just saw here in Michigan. In Detroit, there was what this was just a couple of days ago. Yes, this week.
These ICE officers go to raid a house. Now remember, the people who did this to the ICE officers, they're chasing after them. The ICE officers had to pepper spray these people. If you saw this, they're chasing after them with cars. They are pushing their way into the house, trying to push the officers aside. They're screaming. They're yelling.
This is a dangerous situation all the way around. These bystanders that are screaming at these ICE officers, they could get hurt. They're also doing this having no idea who these guys are going to get. They have no idea who's in their neighborhood. Correct. And so it's creating very chaotic, dangerous situations for everyone else who is just there trying to live their lives. But this is the hill that progressives and leftists are going to die on.
This is the issue. Maybe literally. Immigration, illegal immigration. They want to defend everyone that's in this country for whatever reason. But when you look at the No Kings protests from a couple weeks ago,
It was about immigration. The riots that happened in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago, that was about immigration. But these are the same groups. These riots are not unfunded. They're not organic. They are being funded by these groups that then...
push up to people like mom Donnie. These are groups that have massive amounts of money. They are busing these people places. All these people aren't just showing up, but then they have these useful idiots. They use this app to have useful idiots go out there. They think they're like these vigilantes for justice and they're saving people's lives. And yet they are causing the disruption in the chaos that the enemy is
of the United States once, whomever that should be. And that might be the Iranians because we've already caught 1,500 Iranian nationals that came in under Biden. So this open border was incredibly dangerous. It was letting in enemies. There were 700 who were on the terror watch list. These are...
These are dangerous people. And yet these apps like this are... I don't know if they're created by useful idiots, but they're used by useful idiots. And now they're having...
They're no longer the party of the working class. They're no longer the party of the minority. They're having their groups clash. You've got, I mean, you brought up Deported.News. They've got a story about Portland, Oregon. Now they've got their African-American residents that are mad because these protesters are outside of their windows every night. Right. So you've got a city like Portland where there's a detention center. And so you have these agitators outside being loud, being disruptive, and
And the people who are probably Democrats living in Portland are saying, get out of our city. And so you've got this clash going on. But you mentioned, I mean, think about that, 1,500 Iranians. And there was one that I saw. Just during the Biden administration. Correct. There was one I saw on Deported.News that was captured. He was a sniper in the Iranian army.
And it's like the army, the chance death to America, the Biden administration. What just gets me is you go back to inauguration day and President Trump was sworn in at noon and it was like 1201. Tom Holman, ICE started these raids.
And because they knew, they knew where they were, which means the Biden administration knew where these people were and did nothing. Yeah. Yeah. Well, Tom Holman is, that guy is no nonsense. I actually love hearing Tom Holman out there because he's so no nonsense and he never, his demeanor never changes. It's always like deadpan. Yeah. We're going after these guys. I don't care if you're yelling at me, I'm eating an apple. I don't have time for this. It's just, I love it. It's,
hilarious, but it's also very serious at the same time. Hey, guys, listen, stick around because we have some information that we just found out this week about China interfering in the 2020 election. Yeah, that's right. I said 2020 China tried to interfere. We've got the goods. We have the evidence of that. So
Stay tuned. We'll be right back. And don't forget, call in at the end of the hour, 800-282-2882. We'll talk to you then. Stay tuned. We'll be back with the China information. Welcome back to The Clay and Buck Show. If you're just joining us, I'm Tudor Dixon. I'm filling in for Clay and Buck while they're off celebrating America this week. I'm broadcasting live from the Wood Radio Studios here in beautiful Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have the United States Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon, back with me today to talk about one of those promises made, promises kept. Secretary, welcome back.
Thank you, Tudor. It's a pleasure to be with you again today. Well, I am so excited about why you're here because you have a big announcement. Just last night, you announced that you have something happening with the University of Pennsylvania, and I'm going to let you talk about it. Well, I'm very excited and happy to announce what I think is really a landmark case and a victory for the president, for the Trump administration.
because he announced, you know, or he talked about it even when he was campaigning, how unfair he thought it was that men participated in women's sports. So one of the first things he did early February when he came into office, it was to sign this executive order about men not being able to play in women's sports. And shortly thereafter, a day or two, I can say that the Office of Civil Rights here at the Department of Education took up that mantle
and investigated the University of Pennsylvania. Now, that had been on the docket, if you will, during the Biden administration, but the Biden administration didn't do anything about it. They just kind of ignored it. But we decided this was something we absolutely should take up.
This was the case, if you recall, where Riley Gaines was competing against Leah Thomas in swimming at the University of Pennsylvania and tied with Leah in their race. And Riley left without a trophy, but she competed against a man
that she should have gotten, if it had been a woman, she would have been far ahead in that race. So that really became a landmark case for discussion in the country. It's one that we focused in on with the University of Pennsylvania. And then Paula Scanlon, who also was on the swimming team, had testified before Congress that the women on the team were actually given psychological counseling on how to change
in their intimate spaces in locker rooms in front of men. That is shocking. That was shocking. It is clearly unfair. It flies in the face of common sense, and it is a clear violation of Title IX. And so our investigation and through our negotiations back and forth with the University of Pennsylvania, they signed the resolution, and now men will not compete in women's sports at the University of Pennsylvania.
They have also agreed to send a letter of apology to the women who were on the sports teams that men played against. They've also agreed that they're going to send notification to any of the people that they deal with, contractors or whatever, that this is how the University of Pennsylvania is going to do business. So I am really very, very pleased with this outcome, and it's a great victory for women athletes
To compete against women in their sports, you know, women and girls fought so hard for Title IX to be able to have access to sports and to be able to have access to comparable training rooms, etc. And then to have kind of yanked out from under them by this interpretation of Title IX was just wrong. I'm very happy where we are today.
Well, and Madam Secretary, I just want to say that as we saw Donald Trump building his cabinet, I knew that he had picked the right person when he put you in charge of the Department of Ed, because I knew you would be a champion for girls. I know what sports mean to you and I know what fairness means to you. And as you were just talking about that,
this. And you're saying these girls underwent psychological testing. I mean, really what we're talking about is a university behind the scenes that was using psychological techniques to almost brainwash these women into saying, this is acceptable. You need to accept this and put yourself aside. This is a clear violation of Title IX. And this is just the beginning. But I'm
so impressed that here we are just really a few months into this administration and you have already been able to accomplish this. This announcement to me is very big. I'm a mother of four girls. To me, this is a huge announcement coming out of the Department of Ed.
Well, it certainly is. And if Donald Trump had not been elected president, you would not see this action being taken. But as I said, he campaigned on this. He was true to his word. And when he had the signing of this executive order in the East Room in the White House, he was surrounded by girls and women of all ages. And he was very proud.
to sign this executive order and I'm really pleased with the investigations that we have undertaken and that University of Pennsylvania hopefully this settlement and this agreement will become kind of the prototype for the universities to come on board and to make sure that they are adhering or you know we will continue investigating other universities just like we did Pennsylvania.
Is this connected to federal funding? Why have they agreed to this? Because to me, when I look at this and I say they're going to restore all records, titles, and any recognition to female athletes that were taken from them by male athletes...
That is something I think all of us thought, no matter what happens, the records are permanently damaged. And how can any woman compete against the past when the past is not accurate? And yet you have accomplished this. You will restore that in this agreement. How did you get them to agree to this?
Well, certainly the big club is federal funding. And there was approximately $175 million at stake. And so now that funding, which came from a couple of different agencies other than the Department of Education, will be restored. The predominant amount of it was from HHS. So we're happy that that funding will be restored. But also we are saying we mean business.
And the federal government does have the right to withhold funding if you're not in compliance. And we will not take any of those tools off the table. I think that's something that we need to make sure people understand, because there will be criticism. Oh, this is some sort of extortion. You only get this money if you do this. This is
protecting women. I mean, Title IX has been in effect since the 70s, and yet we are still here today in 2025 fighting for it. And I want to be clear, this is if you cannot comply with law, you cannot have the taxpayers money. Isn't that correct? We definitely are very serious about enforcing Title IX. It is the law.
And girls shouldn't have to be competing in sports in which they are afraid they're going to be hurt or they know that it's not a level playing field. Boys are bigger and stronger and faster and they have an unfair advantage. And also, you know, they need to feel safe in the sports that they're competing against, not worried are they going to get their face smashed by volleyball.
Or, you know, that other things are going to be happening to them. I mean, Stephanie Turner took a knee rather than participate in her fencing competition. She was going to be competing against a boy. And she knew that was not fair and she was afraid. And she took a knee. Women and girls should not be put in those positions. We fought so hard with Title IX, you know, to gain women.
access to women's sports in a fair playing field and equal training facilities. And now to just have that kind of yanked away where this interpretation is wrong, the courts have ruled that it's wrong, and that Title IX should be interpreted as written, that women have access to their sports facilities, et cetera, and it's based on sex.
So this is kind of a landmark agreement that you have with the University of Pennsylvania. I mean, we're even talking about they now have to accept biology-based definitions for the words male and female. To me, that is groundbreaking. And I say that knowing that 10 years ago, that would be a ridiculous statement, but that's where we are today. But I say that also knowing that this is one school of many. So how does the Department of Ed tackle the entire country that has
gone woke and has taken away sports from so many women and trophies from so many women.
Well, hopefully this landmark case with the University of Pennsylvania is going to be the roadmap for other universities to follow. And they'll know we're serious because there is a fair amount of federal money for many of these universities. And if they are receiving federal funding, then they have to know that that funding can be frozen or taken away if they are not in compliance with the law.
What was it like when you were able to sit down with some of these female athletes like Riley Gaines and say, this is what's going to happen. You're going to be there alongside us when we make this announcement. Riley has fought so hard for this. I know that the other women that were there as well, Paula has also fought so hard for this. What was their reaction to this?
Well, I know that they are thrilled to know that finally action has been taken and that their messaging has not gone in vain. All of the miles they've traveled, all the interviews that they have done, all of the counseling that they have done to young women and to girls has not been in vain. And that they now have some, not just wind at their back, they certainly have been confirmed that they were on the right track
and that their motives and their actions are justified.
Absolutely. So I just want to reiterate, this is a landmark agreement that we're announcing today. This is just fresh off the press, really. This is just happening. Breaking news. University of Pennsylvania will restore all records, titles, and recognitions to female athletes. They will issue a public statement that says they will comply with Title IX and that it will be specifically, they won't allow men to compete in women's sports. They will also adopt
biology-based definitions for the words male and female. They will rescind all guidance that violates or is inconsistent with Title IX, and they will send personalized apology letters to each swimmer, each female swimmer who was impacted by this. Secretary McMahon...
You did this. You and President Trump, I know you will keep fighting. This is a huge moment for women across the country, but it's a huge moment for this administration. I just want to close getting your feelings on what it's like to be a part of this and stand next to the president in such an important moment.
Well, it's incredibly exciting to be able to do exactly what he said he was going to do. And I want to commend the Department of Education and our Office of Civil Rights for working so hard on this investigation and for developing this agreement with the University of Pennsylvania. Absolutely. We cannot be more thrilled. I'm so glad that you came on today to share it with us. Thank you so much, Secretary Linda McMahon. Thank you.

We'll be right back.
Right now, we are in the Wood Radio Studios right here live in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have Kyle Olson with me. He is from the Midwesterner.News. You should check it out. He writes great stories every day. Right now, I want to get into what's happening with the big, beautiful bill, which seems to be kind of a pause at the moment because we're hearing news.
out of Washington that we've got Thomas Massey who seems to like to be a fly in the ointment but you don't necessarily always disagree with him because
He's complaining about the debt ceiling, and I can understand he doesn't want to keep spending. But right now, he supposedly is out there saying that he has a vote block of 10 people. So he's convinced 10 Republicans to vote no. But we're hearing that there is negotiations in the White House as we speak. Obviously, we know the art of the deal. We know this president is great at closing deals.
It'll be interesting to see what happens in the next few hours if they're going to wear people down and people will come out and vote for this, Kyle. Right. And you've got so basically what's happening is you have a very narrow majority in the House of Representatives.
And the block that Massey says he has, 10, I mean, unless you've got Democrats voting for this, that sinks the bill. And so that's why I think, you know, sort of bigger picture here, that's why it's so important that the Republicans maintain and expand their majority in the House, because President Trump's agenda, if they don't keep the House, it's...
His agenda is for his last two years is gets very complicated. And all the work that we've done in the last four years to get President Trump back into the White House, you know, the baloney that we went through in 2020. And we just talked about what we what we had John Solomon on the podcast talking about, that there was interference, attempted interference in the 2020 election from John from from China. John Solomon was telling us that.
And so we know that now. We know we fought so hard to get him another four years. The idea of having people step out of the House to run for other offices and then ultimately Donald Trump doesn't actually get those last two years. We have to go through this impeachment baloney and all that.
crap again. That will be a nightmare. But you do have a lot of controversy over this bill. I want to talk about Elon Musk for a minute because he's come out and he has criticized the bill. He doesn't like it. Again, he doesn't like that you have a debt. He said...
What's the point of having a debt ceiling if you raise the debt ceiling? I think what he's finding out is something that many of us who have had these altruistic feelings about government get into the machine and we see how the sausage is made and you go, this is not as great as you thought it was. You've got all of these people from across the country, 435 representatives from across the country who, and you've got
100 senators from across the country. So you've got all of these people that have to come together and make a decision on this bill. But you have different, you've got people from urban places, you've got people from rural places, like I said, 50 different states, everybody wants to get their piece of the pie into this bill. Now we've had people say we should, we should limit it to one issue per bill, we'd be
It'll be a bill every day. Right. Right. And so you've got this situation where the president, apparently, as we're speaking, is negotiating and is talking through these issues with these holdouts. But the majority matters. We just saw the other day Don Bacon, a representative from Nebraska, announced he's going to be retiring. Why does that matter? Because...
because his district in 2024, his district was won by Kamala Harris 54 to 45. In 2020, Joe Biden won that district. That's going to be a very competitive district. It's going to be very difficult for Republicans to win and keep that seat. Here in Michigan, where we're sitting, John James, who represents Macomb County, which is the home of Reagan Democrats,
President Trump won Macomb County, but John James has decided to leave the House and he's running for governor. So that now is another seat that Republicans are going to have to spend probably millions and millions of dollars to defend. So you go across the map and it's not going to be –
The party in power, which, of course, is the Republicans, lose seats in the midterm. So they've got history against them. They've got Republicans who are deciding to retire or they're seeking promotions. It's a very difficult situation for Republicans. And every single one of these matters, because...
I think the Democrats have been very clear. If they get the majority, they're going to do impeachment all over again. Of course. If they get the majority, we will be in a world of hurt. And so I think that is why people are frustrated with what Elon Musk is putting out because he's saying that he's going to primary anybody who votes for this bill. He's going to primary them. I mean, obviously, he has everything.
endless money. But is that really worth it? Would you really go to that extreme? Senator Marshall, I think, was kind of funny. This is cut 11. They were asking him, well, what do you think about what Elon Musk is saying? And this, I think, is the answer to your concerns, Kyle. Here is what he had to say. Well, look, I'll take President Trump's endorsement over Elon's any day of the week back home.
home. Look, we need to pass this bill because it helps fulfill President Trump's agenda. His priorities were to secure the border, bring back prosperity and security. I think if we do those things, if we bring back prosperity and security, we're going to get reelected. Elon's continuing his little spat. We're ignoring him. Let's get this bill across the finish line.
They're ignoring him. They want to move on. President Trump has the most impressive team in history. I mean, people have said this is a historic comeback. Nobody has done what he did, what Susie Wiles did, what James Blair did, what Chris LaCivita did. These are people who are not going to just allow this to get mucked up in the midterms to have success.
Elon Musk go in and primary people, they're going to make sure that Donald Trump is heavily involved. And like you just heard the senator say, his endorsement means so much because we've seen this in Michigan. There is a faction of people who would like to kill America first. And I'm talking about Republicans who would like to kill America first.
But James Blair, Susie Wiles, Chris LaCivita, they are not going to let that happen to Donald Trump. They're going to have J.D. Vance involved. They're going to have Donald Trump involved. They are going to be helping to make sure that he has that majority, that his policies are enacted, that he gets those last two years to do what he so desperately needs to do to make sure we save this country. Right. And so it's not just about this bill. There's a much bigger...
thing going on where it's the entire Trump agenda. And if they're willing to, you know, kill the whole Trump agenda because of one bill, well, then the last two years of the Trump administration is going to be investigations, subpoenas, court hearings,
And then ultimately impeachment. Well, it's interesting. If you are thinking about not voting for this bill and you can hear me right now, you should know that Donald Trump is like the most popular president in history right now because we've got this cut cut 10 where they talk about CNN is talking about how people feel about Donald Trump. So all of you out there that are just sitting in your offices waiting to go in there and vote, the American people are with Trump. So listen to this. Here it is.
And get this, Donald Trump beats Ronald Reagan when it comes to the strongly approved five months. And of course, Reagan was coming off that high after that assassination attempt. So the bottom line is Donald Trump is making history with the Republican base. He is more beloved by this Republican base than any Republican base loved any GOP president five months. And it is history making.
It is history making. Okay, so if you're sitting there on the fence, if you were one of those Republicans saying, I don't think I want to enact Donald Trump's agenda, the American people are making history with their love for President Trump right now. So get off your duff and make the right decision. And he was, during the campaign, he was very clear. There's a lot of politicians that sort of hide what they want to do. He was very clear about deportations, securing the border, everything else. He was very clear.
He is enacting his agenda and there's people standing in his way and he's identifying those people that are standing in his way. And again, this is much bigger than just this bill. He's got a whole agenda that he wants to do over the next three and a half years. Yes. So buckle up. I, when we were there, we were actually there at the white house on the first a hundred days when we were celebrating the a hundred days. And I remember one of the women that worked there, she looked at me, I said, how's it going? And she was like, I'm,
I'm kind of hoping we slow down a little bit. He goes so fast. He's got so much going on. I'm hoping now that it's been 100 days, we can take a breath. And I just laughed and looked at her and I was like, no, you're never... This man never slows down. You are never taking a breath. President Trump keeps winning. This week, he is winning the border crossings, as we said, almost non-existent. The Senate passed the big, beautiful bill. Now we're waiting for all of these Republicans, like I said...
Don't make this mistake. Make sure you get this passed. You guys want to go celebrate America? Go celebrate America after you pass this bill. Egg prices are down. Gas prices are down. CBS is settling over what they did to the president. It's all good for President Trump. And don't forget, at the end of this hour, we want to hear from you. At the very end of the show, please call 800-282-2882. Stay tuned. We'll be back with more after this.
