Locally, we had a situation where about 150 protesters, according to Channel 7, showed up in Federal Plaza to vent about ICE deporting migrants. That's not a big crowd. And I'm hoping that President Trump understands the more
federal presence in LA, the more that this kind of stuff is gonna expand in New York City and other places because the radical left pretty organized and that's who's doing this. The Antifas, the other splinter groups, they want total anarchy in America and New York City. They made a lot of headway. They got a lot of money behind them. Thank you, George Soros.
and his son Alexander, both New Yorkers, pump tens of millions of dollars into radical organizations to change American society, in my opinion, for the worse. So in New York, the NYPD knows how to handle this stuff. They took more than 20 protesters into custody, but they're not going to do anything to them.
They got issued summonses. Most won't even honor them. Nothing will happen to them. We know the drill here. But it's attached to California because one of the reasons that Trump sent the feds in to quell the L.A. situation is because he knew that the state of California would not prosecute any of these people.
But if you do something to federal agents, that's a federal crime and it will be prosecuted. So that's one of the reasons the guard went there. But it's a double sword. And I will explain how this kind of a situation does help President Trump politically. But it also helps the Trump haters, the far left. It's both both can get benefit from these people being out in the streets.
And I really want to give the NYPD some praise tonight. They're driving down crime in a very methodical way by flooding the zones of crime in New York City, sending officers in to be on the streets so that the bad guys have a very hard time doing what they do. That is the solution to street crime, just flooding the zone.
Now, I can't predict how this is going to work out in L.A., a very volatile situation out there. New York, I don't think this pro-migrant movement is going to catch on. I mean, most people know the damage that the Biden open border policy and his refusal to expedite federal law. I mean, President Biden was just awful.
And, you know, I'm sure most of you listening to me know that, but the extent of his dereliction of duty is staggering. 14 million foreign nationals are here thanks to him and him alone, and a lot of them are causing trouble. Not all criminals, but overflowing hospitals and education and
running up huge debts. You just see it time after time after time. I'm not a mean guy. I want people to have good lives. I understand the magnet America is, New York City is. You can earn a living here. You have freedom here. You don't in Honduras and other countries. I got it. But it's got to be done in an orderly way. You can't just let everybody pour in here unattended. Biden did that. And this whole thing is because of Biden.
These demonstrations in L.A., the New York situation, the untold billions of dollars that have to be spent for the next 10 years on this. But it is the worst foreign policy decision I have ever seen made by a president of the United States. And I don't think there's a close second.
