Short time ago, the U.S. military carried out massive precision strikes on the three key nuclear facilities in the Iranian regime, Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan.

Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier. Freedom is back in style. To the revolution. Yeah, we're coming to your city.

So much discussion because the president's stated goal was to eliminate Iran can't have nukes. And part two of it was to protect our interests and our assets and our and fellow Americans that are in the region. That part of the plan that that was that was in place long before any bomber took off from Missouri or anywhere.

Um, and hence you saw earlier today with the symbolic telegraphed, Oh, we're going to fire back, you know, but it's not really, we're not really attacking. We just need to be able to save face. I mean, it's so, it's so ridiculous. It's so stupid, but it is what it is. Um, president Trump actually now has responded to this and rightly so, you know, by calling it a very weak response, uh,

And, you know, no Americans were harmed. Not one of these these missiles fired at our Qatari base ever hit the ground. They were all taken out of the air. You know, Supreme Leader saying Iran will not accept any harassment after the attack on the U.S. base. They told everybody what they were doing. It was very reminiscent of what happened after the killing of Soleimani. They said, yeah, we're going to fire all these missiles, but we're going to miss.

because they don't want the wrath of Donald Trump. It is extraordinarily weak. But it is something you have got to be concerned about because there are Americans in the region. These are American bases. There are lives always, you know, in jeopardy whenever there's any military action. You don't want to see one American hurt in any capacity. And as we've been discussing, you know, they gamed out any possible retaliatory strikes.

not the least of which is hitting our bases or mining the Straits of Hormuz, which they have temporarily closed down. And then, of course, we have always discussed the possibility of the known terrorists that Joe Biden and Kamala and Mayorkas and the complicit media that never reported on wide open borders and Democrats that lied and said that the borders were closed and secure. But that includes, uh,

Hundreds of people from Iran and many that were were caught by the Biden administration that then were still released into the into the country. Iran's Fordow facility has suffered massive destruction. It looks like their nuclear program has been wiped out as of now.

Now the question is what the future will hold for the Iranians. Now, there's a couple of things that can happen simultaneously. When the president mentioned regime change, that wasn't the original goal. I took it very differently than the way others took it. I think it's important to make a distinction here. And when the president tweeted out, make Iran great again, M-I-G-A,

He's basically saying to the Iranians, now remember, every single target was the nuclear facilities of the Iranians, which the president very clearly stated and gave them all the time in the world to accept a deal. The Israelis have only been targeting Iranians.

military targets. The Iranians have been targeting heavily populated civilian areas and it shows just a whole different mindset because it's a terrorist regime and a terrorist regime that has killed untold thousands of

tens of thousands of people in the region, and that they have been the number one state sponsor of terror. And they helped orchestrate the October 7th attacks. And that's the Quds forces, Iranian Revolutionary Guards forces, although their numbers, their generals are dwindling very quickly. I mean, three more leaders were taken out by the Israelis in the last three days. And they, you know...

I don't even know what to say about this. It seems like the Iranians are so overwhelmed by what the U.S. military was able to accomplish on Saturday night and the fact that we own their skies, they have no shot at protecting themselves. Doesn't mean there won't be other attacks. We've got to be forever vigilant, but I don't want to see any single American get hurt, and there's risks always associated with military efforts.

But with that said, I would imagine that the Israelis have a far greater interest in dismantling Iran and have every right to dismantle Iran to whatever degree they deem necessary. I mean, they have been firing either directly or through their proxies hundreds of thousands of missiles into Israel. And if the Israelis decide to take out Iran

their refineries and destroy their economy, I don't blame them. If they decide to knock out their power grid so that you have instability in the country that would lead to regime change, I don't blame them. If the Israelis decide to take out the supreme leader and the leadership of the Iranian, you know, the Republic of Iran, I don't blame them either because there's only so many times you can attack Israel before, you

They have a right to defend their country, and their very existence has been threatened here. And it really has come to, it came to this moment because the Iranians were building out two possible plans. One was the enrichment plan, and according to every report, they were at 60% enrichment, and to get from 60% to 90% weapons-grade enrichment was a matter of days, not even a full month. It was just weeks.

And so that would mean they were nuclear power. And now they're getting more and more capability in terms of their missile capability and greater distances involved. That would be a clear and present danger to every country in the region and eventually the continental United States.

It just had to be done. And the timing couldn't have been greater. They were going to go from ballistic missiles of 2,000 pounds, which is very lethal, to 4,000 pounds, which is extraordinarily lethal. And we know what their targets are. And those were civilian targets. And now the question is, what will happen next? It's anybody's guess.

Ali Safavi is with us, and Ali is a member of the Iranian Parliament in Exile and National Council of Resistance of Iran and president of the Near East Policy Research Group, a consulting and policy analysis firm in D.C. Sir, how are you? You've studied this now, and you've taught at UCLA and University of Los Angeles, Michigan,

and have been an activist during the anti-Shah student movement. What do you make of these events, and what do you make of what's happening? Well, first of all, glad to be on your show, Sean. Thank you for the opportunity. I think we are witnessing a historic moment.

I think finally the day of reckoning is arriving for these criminal mullahs who hijacked the popular revolution after the Iranian people rose up and threw out another dictator into the ash heap of history, the Shah's regime.

and of course have brutalized the Iranian people. You mentioned tens of thousands of Americans and foreign nationals being executed or killed by this regime. Well, 100,000 dissidents have been executed by this regime in the past 46 years, including 30,000 in 1988 alone. Ninety percent of them from our movement,

the MEK, as it is known in the United States. And clearly, I think we are on the brink of changing Iran. But of course, the kind of change that we envision is not from above, it's from the bottom, by the Iranian people and the organized resistance. And actually, we have been working at this for the past four decades within Iran at great cost.

Right now, the MEK-affiliated resistance units are active in virtually every city in Iran. They have been, like, in 2024, they carried out some 3,000 acts of resistance against the IRGC and its paramilitary, shocking to see.

So as the leader of our movement, Mrs. Rajavi, said a few days ago at the European Parliament, it is time for the international community to stand with the Iranian people, to stand with the opposition movement, the resistance movement.

to bring down this regime. And I think until and unless the mullahs are overthrown, the kind of crisis that we have been witnessing over the past 10 days or so will continue. You know that just after the October 7, Mrs. Rajavi said that the head of the snake of terrorism and warmongering is in Tehran. So that...

The snake must be beheaded. And, of course, that's none other than Ali Khamenei. But as I said, it is the Iranian people that will accomplish this, joined by the organized resistance movement. And so the day of reckoning, as I said, is coming. And we are, of course, hard at work to make that happen.

But of course, what we need is the political and moral support of the United States, Europe. We don't want any boots on the ground. We don't want any money. We don't want any weapons. The Iranian people are quite capable and willing to give what it takes to reclaim the country from these mullahs and get Iran to democracy.

Let me let me ask you this. I think this is very important. What would you imagine is likely to unfold now that this strike took place and the nuclear facilities devastated? And President Trump did warn the people in Tehran to get out immediately and made clear that his his issues are not with the Iranian people, but with the government that that rules over them with an iron fist.

Yes. Well, that's an excellent question. First of all, the three sites that you mentioned, actually our movement exposed two of them, one the Natanz site in 2002 and the Fordos site in 2005. But I think what is going to unfold is for you to see that the Iranian people will ultimately come to the streets once the wall of repression is cracked.

And that's exactly what the MEK resistance units are doing as we speak. They are like the tip of the spear that will make that wall of repression crumble because it is the brutality of the...

and threats to wipe the entire country off the map by the leadership of Iran, I would imagine that they have their sights on the supreme leader and probably on their economy, which would be your refineries, which are clustered together on that little island, and their infrastructure, which would mean the entire power grid could be taken out

probably with just two or three strikes. And at that point, the Iranian regime, the Iranian people would suffer. And I would imagine that would probably precipitate some type of change.

Well, I think that the Iranian people are ready, basically ready for change. Remember that since 2017 there have been five major uprisings in Iran, the latest of which was in 2022. And ironically, during those nationwide protests in which 750 people

of our fellow compatriots were massacred by the IRGC, the people were uniformly chanting "Death to the oppressor, whether the Shah or the leader," meaning that for them, the future does not involve the return of the crown and the cloak, which they threw into the dustbin of history, nor are they content with the turban and the robe, which the Mullahs represent. They want a representative government

and through the ballot box, and indeed that is what our movement and our leader is promising, a 10-point plan for the future of Iran which guarantees gender equality. Let me ask you this. Do you believe that this regime will survive based on what we know now and not anticipating any assistance for regime change from the U.S.?

I do not believe it will survive. I think, quite frankly, with what happened last Friday night, two nights ago. On Saturday night, yeah. Saturday night, apologies. I think we've turned the page. I think the policy of appeasement

I think, and suffered a great blow. You correctly said that the Biden administration tried to cajole this regime, tried to give it concessions, as did the Obama administration. I think as long as the international community does not offer any lifeline to this regime,

I think the Iranian people can topple the Maldives. Because remember that the regime used the windfall of the JCPOA, hundreds of millions of dollars, to not only boost its proxy forces in the region, but also to strengthen and empower its repressive forces. So if that lifeline is not given to them, the Iranian people are quite capable and ready to do it. It has to come from them.

And regime change, you always have to worry what's on the other side of it. Is it going to be worse? Although I don't think you can get worse than the Supreme Leader Khamenei. I do not believe it will be worse, Sean. You know, this narrative that Iran will become another Libya, I submit to you, it's being promoted by the regime's lobby inside the Beltway. Iran is one of the two national states in the Middle East. It has a civilization of

several thousand years because an educated population it had a a young population most importantly it had no organized opposition and uh... so i've such uh... that this opposition is how the planning place uh... to a step in the day after and need involved with the market sheet uh... very very well quickly and so it's uh... i'd up to date dot only

will be happening. By the way, our movement has tremendous support in the United States among Congress, a majority. We're going to watch it very closely. I'm just up on the clock. Ali Safavi, I don't mean to interrupt you, please forgive me, but we're just out of time. But I do appreciate you being with us. And I wish your country the best. And I hope they join the free world in the future. But that's going to be up to the Iranian people in the end.

Well, Democrats, predictably, and this is why 2026 is going to be so important. It's impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment, impeachment. It's all they've got. They've got racist, fascist, Nazi, Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini and impeachment, impeachment. You know, it's the same old talking points for them.

And it is pretty outrageous because they have the likes of Al Green. He now wants to impeach Donald Trump because he used military force and took out the Iranian nuclear sites and made the world a safer place. And just just put that in a little bit of perspective.

AOC is saying the same thing. Congresswoman Omar saying the same thing. And then you got the likes of Chuckie Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries that are so scared of their own base, they can't even praise Donald Trump for making the world a safer place. It's unbelievable. But of course, the same people that allowed all these

Iranian nationals over 800 that they knew were from Iran that Biden still released into the country. Let's see. I'm from Iran. I'm going to go to the southern border and I'm hoping for a better life for me and my children. I'm going to make that long trek. That's where I'm headed.

Okay, maybe some. I could buy that. Do you think that maybe the country, the Republic of Iran, may be sent known operatives into our country? We know we have known terrorists in the country. We know we have Iranian assassination squads in the country. And we just arrested a number of them, as a matter of fact. ICE arrested 11 Iranian nationals in the last 48 hours. They're trying to do everything they can possibly do

to protect the homeland. And I've been saying now for the longest time as this crisis at the border, the most preventable national security crisis in our history, that it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when we are attacked. Now, none of these Democrats,

cared about Obama going after bombing Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, or Pakistan. They didn't care about George W. Bush, Afghanistan, and Iraq, or Bill Clinton, Iraq, Serbia, Sudan, Afghanistan. They didn't care about George H.W. Bush, Iraq, and Panama, Reagan, Libya, Grenada.

And, you know, Greg Jarrett will join us in a moment. But then, of course, you've got geniuses like Jasmine Crockett. I'm the one that's supposed to make the effing decision on bombing Iran. Oh, really? Jasmine, President Jasmine Crockett. And to understand enough about the Constitution to the extent that I'm the one that's supposed to make the f***ing decision or at least get a vote.

Okay. Anyway, Greg Jarrett, Fox News legal analyst, bestselling author, number one New York Times bestselling author is with us. I thought you wrote the definitive column. I don't know if you heard me on radio yesterday and on TV last night. I was quoting it extensively.

And you pointed out that Congress already granted consent for a president for exactly the type of action that the president used on Saturday night. And you pointed out after September 11th, 01, it's known as the Authorization for Use of Military Force Act. Tell us what the powers that it grants the president, although I would argue that the War Powers Act is unconstitutional in and of itself and has always been unconstitutional.

BS argument anyway, but go ahead because we do he does have article two powers. He is the commander in chief Yes, he absolutely did does and I agree with all of what you said Let's begin with the Constitution article to the president's commander in chief of the Armed Forces. He's empowered and

to direct military operations to deter foreign threats to our national security. That is established over 200 years. You know, Thomas Jefferson on his own used the military to save lives.

And, you know, a nuclear-armed Iran controlled by a maniacal regime posed the ultimate peril, and Trump had an affirmative duty to act preemptively. Yeah.

uh... it was bold it was necessary and frankly he should be commended not can damn but you know political fury in the age of problem requires that democrats react irrationally and impetuously in opposition and they pay no attention to the known facts the law and in the constitution pointed out in my comment thank you for mentioning it yesterday

You know, when Bernie Sanders and AOC say, oh, it's grossly unconstitutional, Congress has to approve. Well, Congress already did approve in 2001. As you point out, they passed the authorization for use of military force, and it granted the president extraordinary powers to target nations that he determined aided and abetted the terrorists or harbored

the perpetrators of 9-11. You know, these Democrats, assuming they can read and comprehend simultaneously, should just take a gander at the 9-11 report. It was Iran that actively aided and abetted attacks on America, giving al-Qaeda terrorists training, intelligence, transit, logistics, weaponry, funding. They even harbored

uh... al-qaeda terrorists uh... you know democrats never complained when obama utilize the a u_n_a_ on numerous occasions you mentioned some of the libya somalia uh... syria uh... pakistan uh... i think uh... the county some it twenty six thousand bombs were dropped by opa democrats

enthusiastically supported. They said it's completely constitutional and lawful. And Biden did the same. He ordered airstrikes in Iraq. Democrats cheered, but only now because it's Donald Trump.

Those same Democrats are howling in protest. And that's all there is to it. It's just because it's Donald Trump. So I agree with your analysis and people, many of them forgot about the authorization after the 9-11 attacks. But let's go to the War Powers Act in particular. First of all, no president has ever accepted the War Powers Act directly.

and followed through on an interpretation that would limit their capacity to wage war or conduct military strikes when they thought that it was in the best interest of the country. I would argue it's legislative interference,

And that executive authorization as commander in chief in the Constitution and Article two is very clear and unambiguous. It's from the 1970s, and I believe it is unconstitutional and violates, you know, violating the article by by trying to take over the authority of the president.

And, you know, but with all that said, the president can also use weapons in military actions for 60 days without any congressional authorization per the War Powers Act. If we're going to be that that effective.

If we want to be that specific about what it says. Yes, you're absolutely correct. So, you know, when AOC, you know, says it's a violation of the congressional war powers, I believe she's referring to the 1973 War Powers Resolution. But, you know, she doesn't really realize it because she's probably never read it.

But the War Powers Resolution is a notification requirement to Congress. It's not a prohibition on military action.

And in fact, Trump complied. He notified Congress. AOC says it's an impeachable offense. That's silly. But you're right, Sean, that some presidents have actually just said, I'm not going to comply with the War Powers Act, including Barack Obama and his extensive military strikes in Libya.

And at one point in time, he said, I don't care. I'm going to ignore it. And no president has ever said it's constitutional because it's not.

But it's never been challenged on a constitutional basis, so there we are. Too many Democrats, I think, have not studied the law, studied the Constitution. They probably haven't read the War Powers Act. They just mouth off as AOC did. Wow.

Well, it's fascinating to watch, you know, the stupidity on display. But this then goes to a bigger issue, which is the midterm elections in 26. Now, usually...

In a midterm, the party in power at the White House tends to lose seats and significant amounts, depending on what the year is. There's only been a few exceptions over the last hundred years. And my hope is, is that the president is so transformational in terms of what he does with peace and prosperity. If you believe, as I do, peace and prosperity drive elections.

OK, I think the president made the world a safer place by taking out the Iranian nuclear sites. It doesn't mean we're not going to have problems. Every military effort has many, many risks associated with it. It's certainly way more complicated because Joe Biden allowed all these foreign nationals into the country illegally.

And they're coming from countries that have terrorist ties, including Iran and over 800 that they knowingly let into the country. I have no doubt there are terror cells in the country. But as I always say, I pray to God that I'm wrong. But to me, that's a clear and present danger. So and then on the economy, I think the 10 trillion in manufacturing investments that will be used over the next four years for automobiles, pharmaceuticals and semiconductor chips, plus the energy dominance of

program that the president has adopted and the one big beautiful bill and tax cuts always results in more revenue to the government more jobs for the american people and securing our border will certainly factor into people's decisions i'm hoping he can break that trend because otherwise we're going to have you know 500 impeachment attempts by the democrats am i wrong

I agree. I think you have nicely outlined it. Americans are happy that the border is now secure. They approve of deporting, you know, criminals, murderers, thieves, child molesters, rapists and so forth. But I think this one decision by Trump to

to take out Iran's nuclear facilities cements his legacy as a strong, courageous leader in the annals of American presidents. As I pointed out in my column, we may never know how many thousands, if not millions, of lives have been spared because he had the fortitude that other presidents lack.

I mean, would Kamala Harris have done it? Not a chance. And of course, we know that for too long, American presidents took a playbook out of Neville Chamberlain and sought to appease Iran. Obama, Biden tried to bribe them with billions of dollars only to see our taxpayer dollars funneled into our enemies' nuclear activities and terrorist attacks against us.

uh... you know obama and biden were willing to trust the ayatollahs lives you have to be some kind of gullible to do that it's like trusting the scorpion when he promises i'm not gonna bite you so you know i think this one act by president trump

will have an influence on the midterm elections. But of course, you know, in the House, those are two-year terms, and invariably they tend to turn on local issues, not national, international issues.

So, you know, I think it'll be close in the house. We'll wait and see. All right, quick break. We'll come back more with Fox News legal analyst, number one New York Times bestselling author Greg Jarrett. We continue now. Greg Jarrett is with us. Number one, New York Times bestselling author, Fox News legal analyst. What do you make of the Supreme Court and their decision yesterday on the issue of immigration and a huge win for the president, allowing the Trump administration to restore restart their deportation flights of illegal aliens to nations other than their own, like El Salvador? That would be the case of a Gregor Garcia, but any other country that they want.

Well, it was a 6-3 decision. Obviously, it is the right decision based on the law.

And, you know, the powers of the executive branch, particularly of the president when it comes to matters of immigration, you know, even the Ninth Circuit had, you know, a fairly liberal appeals court had tried to remind judges in the lower courts that the executive branch is in charge of this.

And I think it's an important warning shot over the bow of these lower court judges, but I think the real...

uh... fireworks may come this thursday of when the supreme court may well decide to issue that long-awaited opinion on these out of control injunctions by federal district court judges who are exceeding their authority abusing their power they're trying to stop trumps

agenda from being implemented uh... by issuing these universal injunctions as i say they have no authority to do it spring court justices on both sides of the aisle with complained uh... about the excessive abuse of power

but they never did anything about it. Now, finally, because their own docket is overwhelmed, the justices, I think, are compelled to put their foot down and say, stop it. And I think they may well undertake common sense guidelines and limits on these abusive district court judges. Greg Jarrett, great job as always. We appreciate you. Thank you, sir. Thanks.

I don't think enough time has been spent praising the brave men and women that had to carry out this mission on Saturday night, and they did so with grace and precision and professionalism. You know, when you look at the laundry list of things that they were able to accomplish, I mean, the amount of precision, courage,

The deception at levels that we've never seen before was frankly inspiring, and we've got to be grateful to all of them. I want to just give you a little bit of insight, and we didn't play this the other day. I wanted to. Describing the operation, it's called Operation Midnight Hammer, as you all know.

And this is General Dan Cain and talking about the intricacy and the absolute amazing, you know, might of the United States military, the greatest fighting force on the face of this earth. Take a listen.

At approximately 6.40 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 2.10 a.m. Iran Time, the lead B-2 dropped two GBU-57 massive ordnance penetrator weapons on the first of several aim points at Fordow.

As the president stated last night, the remaining bombers then hit their targets as well, with a total of 14 MOPS dropped against two nuclear target areas.

All three Iranian nuclear infrastructure targets were struck between 6:40 p.m. and 7:05 p.m. Eastern Time. Again, that's about 2:10 in the morning local time in Iran, with the Tomahawk missiles being the last to strike at Esfahan to ensure we retain the element of surprise throughout the operation.

Following weapons release, the Midnight Hammer strike package exited Iranian airspace and the package began its return home. We are unaware of any shots fired at the package on the way out. Iran's fighters did not fly and it appears that Iran's surface-to-air missile systems did not see us.

Throughout the mission, we retained the element of surprise. I mean, it's unbelievable. We are so blessed to have so many incredible people that are willing to protect the cause of liberty and freedom so that we can go about living our lives and fulfilling our destinies in life. Anyway, Dave Rutherford is with us, former Navy SEAL medic, instructor, served eight years in

himself after his honorable discharge. He went to work for Blackwater as an international curriculum development and training specialist for two years. I got a chance to meet him recently. David, how are you, sir? Welcome to the program. I'm doing great. Thank you so much for having me, sir. I mean, I am dazzled by the entire operation. One of the things that really stood out to me was the level of deception and

and how the Iranians, they actually created phantom B-2s that weren't even in the air, and that the Iranians were firing at them. And meanwhile, the real B-2s that were dropping all those 14 bunker busters went completely and utterly undetected.

I mean, wow, that's pretty amazing. I think what we're seeing now, Sean, is a whole new level of our sophistication and technology that's emerging. And what I know it does for me is, you know, it sets in a whole other level of confidence in what our capabilities are and really what our reach has become.

I've been saying for the longest time that we need to build out the next generation of weaponry. Do you agree with my statement that I don't think future wars are going to be fought on a battlefield?

That doesn't mean you're not going to need assets on the ground. The Israelis proved, you know, they were able to have assets on the ground that even smuggled drones and weaponry into Iran. And they were able to, you know, know the locations of their top nuclear scientists and their top generals. And from the very beginning of their military operation, take those people out. I think that was an incredible intelligence effort.

and a covert operation of a magnitude I don't think we've seen before. But I think that the next generation of weaponry, the future wars will be fought in air-conditioned offices and not on the battlefield, although, yeah, you will need assets on the ground. Yeah, you will need some troops on the ground, but you're not going to be fighting wars on the ground. Right.

From your lips to God's ears, man. As a former operator and I also did a stint with the CIA, there's always going to be need for that human intelligence on the ground for those operators in conjunction with the larger scale operations themselves. But again, you're right. When I think about what those B-2 bombers, what the pilots did, flying for that amount of time, plus

you know they had all the other support fighters that were in the the air you know that uh... the tankers you know it's just it really i i'd hopefully working at that but we also have seen what's taking place in ukraine uh... over the last four years where you know you have trench warfare combined with drone warfare so

I think it's really yet to be seen what it's going to look like in the next 10, 15 years. But certainly right now, I think we're still entrenched in a mixture of modern technology with old school operational capabilities. Yeah, I think that's a great way to describe it. But, well, you know, one of the things that I'm worried about is,

and I have a lot of sources, a lot of our munitions were depleted under Biden and he never replenished them. Biden didn't take any steps at all to modernizing our military. When the communist Chinese and the Russians have hypersonic technology, and that's only one system, but we're also deficient and behind in other systems, that makes me nervous. Granted, we have far superior military

nuclear capability than all of these countries. I mean, look at the Tomahawks fired 400 miles away from a submarine. One submarine hits, you know, 30 targets with incredible precision and accuracy. It's just an amazing sight to see. And it makes me feel safer as an American. However, we better get very, very urgent in terms of preparing for the next generation of weaponry.

I completely agree, and I think that's why we saw in the new bill that's moving forward that defense spending is not decreased but increased because I think across the board, regardless of what side of the aisle you're on, it's pretty recognizable that our – in particular the Navy has suffered.

equipment, technology. I mean, I think we're catching up in drone technology for sure. But you're right. Supersonic missile systems, that type of technology, automated systems in terms of there's a develop a new defense contractor that's building basically drone ships to be able to launch strikes in covert ways. There's just a lot we could be doing. So

in kind of the rapidly evolving modern battlefield, which is what's taking place, obviously, between Iran and Israel, what's taking place in Russia and Ukraine. And then what many people are predicting what's just over the horizon is a potential conflict with China and Taiwan. Yeah, we definitely need to level up, so to speak.

Yeah, definitely. What are the systems that you think were most efficient and what would you be looking to build up?

I mean, obviously, drone capabilities from small reconnaissance-type drones to drones that can drop projectiles to satellite capabilities, I think that's really the future of warfare, like you had suggested. But I also think cloaking technology is required, too.

for any type of people you have on the ground. I mean, some of the surveillance capabilities with different types of FLIR capabilities or infrared or different types of hologram systems, it really makes it tough for troops to move out in the open, as we've seen from the countless videos coming out of Ukraine.

So I think it's across the board. Weapon systems, I'd love to see electromagnetic systems developed or any type of systems that could really impede drone warfare. That would be awesome to see. I think it's really we're on the precipice of whoever has the most innovative technology is going to lead on the battlefield for sure.

Well, we appreciate your time and your expertise. And congratulations. I know you're doing your own podcast. David Rutherford, former Navy SEAL medic. Thank you, sir. We appreciate all your insight.

800-941-SHAWN. You know, they made fun of Ronald Reagan when he talked about strategic defense. What have we been watching? And if you go back in the day and you watch the media mocking him and calling it Star Wars, and they would show images almost exactly, almost identical to what's happening in real life now.

And I will tell you right now, if the president is able to pull off this vision of a golden dome to protect America, it may one day, long after we're gone, be the system that saves potentially millions of American lives. That's thinking forward.

If you're ready to get out of the media spin room, you've come to the right place. This is the Sean Hannity Show. ♪♪

Let's get to our busy phones. 800-941-SHAWN is our number. Karen in California, the United Socialist Utopia of Gavin Newsom. How are you? Glad you called. Mr. Hannity, hi. Thank you for taking my call. So nice to talk to you. And thank you for everything you do, by the way. Thank you. Really appreciate it. Thank you. I appreciate you letting me do it. Thank you. Oh, listen, so glad you're there.

And so what I was calling about was, you know, I watch a lot of news, especially since 2016. And, you know, after the October 7th, you see a lot of videos of the, you know, atrocities and all the terrible things that happened in Gaza and everything. Well, my point is, I think that... Let me tell you something. If you saw what I've seen, and they won't make it public, but they did share it with me.

It would shock your conscience. It would shock images you will never get rid of for the rest of your life.

No doubt. I don't doubt that for a minute. I really don't. Exactly. But my point is this, Sean. You see so many people. I've seen news people out there talking to people on the street. Well, what do you think? Well, you know, they were attacked on October 7th. And there's actually people that stand there saying, no, no, that's not true. They don't even believe that they were attacked.

I mean, it's just it's unbelievable that there's. What's that girl's name? Greta Thunberg. Remember, she was going to go to the flotilla and the Israelis intercepted her and said, oh, we want to show you the videos of what really happened on October the 7th. Because remember, Hamas videotaped it themselves. They were so proud of themselves for their murder, raped, kidnapping, torture and beheadings. And she would she just put her head in the sand and wouldn't watch it.

I've seen that video. It's never been made public because they don't want the families of the victims to live through it again. But they did show the press, so the press could be very aware of what happened that day, and it is shocking. Right. It's got to be horrible. I mean, there have been some photos. You see the blood on the walls and the dragged blood bodies they've taken out of the buildings. And the sad

part is, I mean, but Hamas, they've shown all these videos of these people in these buildings and blowing up and all the horrible things, the little kids and dying and everything. So people have seen that and they're so sympathetic toward that, you know. But they haven't seen what happened to the Israelis that day. It's all about, you know, my point is it's got to be horrible, but somehow I think people should be able to see both sides. They should be able to see what happened a little bit. There's been pictures of the music festival

That was terrible. I know there's got to be horrific pictures that people just... Oh, no. I mean, you have parents being murdered and assassinated in front of their children. Of course. I mean, you have rape and... By the way, did you ever see a video of a real beheading?

You know, I did once before this war got... You don't want to see it. It's not something you want to see. It was horrible. I never forgot it. They had a woman in the street, and they were hitting her with a certain sword, and it was terrible. So I know it's got to be horrible, horrific things, but my point is, Sean...

How are people going to – but why – these people are in denial. People are actually in denial that things happened to the Israelis. That's the part that – I know people don't want to relive it, and it's a horrible thing to show the public. But somehow, someway, people need to know that – and see it for themselves. I mean they just let that Khalil out of prison, right? He's got all these Hamas supporters around him.

And people don't even think about the fact that, you know, the Israelis were attacked and why they're fighting. I mean, it's just a sad thing that, but their videos have come out of Hamas. They have made sure all their stuff has come out. You know what I'm saying? So that's basically what I was trying to say. And they're proud of it.

It is scary. It's really evil in our time, and that's the frustrating part of it all. Anyway, I appreciate your call, Karen. Thank you. You're right. 800-941-SHAWN is our number if you want to be a part of the program. You are listening to the best of The Sean Hannity Show, and stay tuned. And it is probably the biggest, most devastating potential blow to what was once by far, and I said it often, the greatest city in the world. I don't think it is the greatest city in the world anymore by a long shot. I think it's been destroyed.

by burdensome regulation, ridiculously, oppressively high taxes, quality of life issues have gone down the drain. We're almost in the pre-Rudy Giuliani era of New York City. And with this election of this radical Mamdani yesterday, and this guy, he wants government-run grocery stores.

grocery stores don't have high profit margins, maybe 1%, 2%. Now, they make their money in volume, but they're not making massive profits on items the way you might think that they do. And, of course, he wants free buses. He wants everything free. And then he wants to take what is already one of the highest tax cities in the country and drive it up like 20%.

But something magical has happened as a result of all this. I was pretty certain that Andrew Cuomo in early polls indicated Andrew Cuomo was going to run away with his Democratic primary. And slowly but surely, the race started to shift and change dramatically.

And then in the final weeks leading up to last night's primary, all of a sudden, Mamdani is right there overtaking Cuomo and then ended up blowing him out of the water last night. Now, what's interesting is Andrew Cuomo may run as an independent. The current mayor, Eric Adams, he's running as an independent. He got another radical leftist running as an independent.

What does that mean? That means that there is a possibility. New York can get Rudy Giuliani 2.0 or make New York city great again. And that would be mayor Curtis Sliwa, who's the only conservative with common sense in the race where we, you know, offer a full throated endorsement of, I've already done that on this program and on other programs in New York when I'm a guest, uh,

And we welcome Curtis Sleeve to the show. Curtis, how are you? By the way, rock ribbed, all American conservative from Franklin Square, Long Island. Check it in, my friend. Yes. And remember when you decided to leave and I know it hurt you to leave and to make Florida your primary residence. I always try to encourage you, Sean, reconsider. We need you back here, too. And

You and Mark Simone are New York born, bred, and you'll be New York dead. You are the hardest core New Yorkers I know. Yeah, but you see, my whole focus is improve, don't move.

We have a situation now with Mondami that is Chicago 2.0. It's the socialist Mayor Johnson all over again, and we've seen what a failure that is. As I prepared to do your show, I came out of the subway because, you know, I live in the subways, so I deal with the working-class people.

I had to go over homeless people, emotionally disturbed. I'm looking across the street. We're here on 50th and 3rd, the Upper East Side. There are five storefronts that are closed. No lease, no sale, no rental. The city is in a free fall. And my job is to try to get us back on track with a quality of life. With Mondami, it will continue to slide into the abyss.

I want to make sure that there are no more Sean Hannity's who feel that they have to leave, that we can stem the flow. And like you said with Rudy Giuliani, turn things around. And personally, Sean, you may have remembered it was October of a year ago. My oldest son was the victim of a vicious gang assault on the Upper East Side. Vicious. Almost killed him.

Thank God his stepfather, Democrat Governor David Patterson, jumped in and saved his life. And they call it a random attack. There are no random attacks. You know me. I'm law and order. I'm the quality of life. We've got to take back the streets of our city. We've got to start locking up criminals, Sean, instead of locking up toothpaste in Dwayne Reed's NCBS.

Well said. There's a Wall Street Journal article out today, and I can tell you living in South Florida, Curtis, and I love you. And every time I ever went on the subway, I would always run into you, no matter what time of day or night it happened to be. And I know your passion, your heart, your soul is for New York City. I admire it. It's unfortunate. But in South Florida, every Wall Street firm is already down here.

They've they've already half moved out of New York. And and I'm talking about every major firm on Wall Street, every private equity company, every major bank. They're now setting up base in Florida. Governor DeSantis said this is going to be the best thing that ever happened to Florida. If Mom Donnie is elected. I know you don't want that to happen, but I want you as my friend to be successful.

And I think you could stop the bleeding and you could rescue New York and return it to at least much of its former greatness. And it did have greatness at one point. But today's Wall Street Journal points out that this win, you know, literally it's quoting one Wall Street executive after another saying they are going to leave.

And they are going to move to states like Florida and Texas immediately. And they quote a number of them, hedge fund managers, private equity firms, banks. They're going to bail out on New York and it will be a disaster. I mean, you don't talk about this guy. What does he what are his stated plans? They're scary.

No police, no prisons, and instead of police protecting the people, he wants social workers. So, for example, Sean, he's been under a threat of late. I understand that. You remember, we're on the anniversary of me being shot five times with hollow-point bullets on the orders of the Gotti family to the Gambinos, and luckily I survived. I know what it is to be threatened. But he is being protected now by off-duty NYPD officers with guns.

Why doesn't he have social workers? This is what he wants for everyone else, but not for himself. So we have to get back on track. And I will go to all these Fortune 500 CEOs, COOs, CFOs. I will tell them, you know me, Curtis, 46 years in the streets and the subways.

We can get this city back on track. I understand you may want to bifurcate your business and not have your entire business here in New York City, but give me a chance. And that's why your listeners, they know me. They know what I've done. You've exposed everything that I've done in this city to help this city, to everyone in America. And if they would get online to Sliwa4NYC.com, at Sliwa4NYC.com, they would see my plan, not only to get this city back on track,

but to make it safe and secure because there are the blue-collar working class who are now the mainstream of the Republican Party. That's what Donald Trump, the president, has started. We are the party of the blue-collar working class. And you know, like yourself, John, I'm the son of the blue-collar working class. I haven't forgotten my roots. I'm in the outer boroughs. That's where the people pay their taxes. That's where they get hit with their fees and fines. That's where they're being driven out. And if the mortgage rates weren't at 6.75% and down,

and down to 3%, they would be joining you and fleeing in fright. And I'm going to stop that. I'm telling you, Sean, you know me. When I make a commitment, I deliver. I know that for a fact. And I know that you will deliver. And I know you will eat, breathe, sleep, uh, making New York a safe place again and more secure for people that deserve it. Uh,

There's no doubt about it. Let's talk about, you talked about working men and women and Donald Trump, for example, is now pushing the big, beautiful bill, the largest tax cut in history. It also eliminates tax on tips and tax on overtime. What are you going to do to help the working men and women in New York that can barely afford to live? And what are you going to do to entice these bigger firms that hire people with career jobs, high paying career jobs to stay in New York city?

Well, first off, the veins and arteries, as you know, Sean, because you took the subways, even though you were an entertainment figure doing very well. It's the veins and arteries of the city. It's how the working class people travel. If we can make it safe and secure, many of these people will return to these empty office buildings that have been shut. Now, they won't all return because business has changed the way it was done when you and I were growing up.

But you have to start with the basics. The streets have to be safe. The subways have to be safe. The majority of the working class people are now women, some of them single women raising families, working two jobs just to make ends meet. I'm going to have them in my sights to improve their quality of life. And you'll see. They will notice a difference. They will stay. And their employers will say, OK, fine.

Let's give it a try. Let's give Sliwa a try, just like we gave Rudy Giuliani a try. Remember, Sean, it was much worse under David Dinkins. 2,000 murders a year, 10,000 unsolved shootings. Rudy came along and made a difference. And consider me Rudy Giuliani Jr. I can make that same difference. You know it. You've seen me out there. And this is what the city desperately needs, law and order and questionnaires.

and quality of life and affordable housing and obviously lowering the expenses of living. That's something I know how to do. And if given the opportunity, I will return that favor to the people of New York City who have trusted me and the Guardian Angels for 46 years.

I can tell people from personal experiences, two people that I've walked the streets of New York with that you constantly hear their name. You know, people scream it out. Trump is one and the others, Curtis, you know, and people love Curtis Lee. And then you're known everywhere you go.

Um, what about how do you incentivize these businesses to stay? You've got to get rid of some of this regulation. It is so ridiculously burdensome. It costs them so much money and lower taxes. I mean, that will take away the incentive of these companies to leave, but also lower taxes for the working men and women. Do you believe you can accomplish that?

Yes, I can. And most importantly, remember, I'm a Republican who go into neighborhoods where the only Republican they've ever seen, Sean, is Abraham Lincoln on a $5 bill. You start with those small businesses so that they don't vacate, and then you have abandonment. Then you start on the mid-sized level businesses that are getting hammered.

and they have one foot out the door. And then you go to the Fortune 500 businesses who can wait a little bit of time because they have the equity and say, look what I've done for the small business guys and gals. Look what I've done for the mid-level sized businesses. Hold your move. Give

Give me an opportunity to give you that same ability to do business without the regulations, the fees, the fines, and the perpetual bureaucracy that strangles any kind of development. You go down to where you are, Florida, in Florida, you can develop overnight South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia. And that's why so many people are fleeing. I understand why they leave. I want to keep them here, including business, and I'll be able to do it.

You know, I really do want you to succeed. And there is a path for you to win. And I know it's like nine to one Democrat, registered Democrat to Republican. But I got to imagine a lot of Democrats are sick and tired of what's happened to New York City. I've got to imagine that they do know you. They do have faith in you. And I've got, you know, Donald Trump, remember he said, what have you got to lose?

It can't really get worse, although with Mamdani, it's going to get worse. That's the scary part. He's going to institutionalize stupid. You have to fight fire with fire in the streets. He's motivated the millennials. Remember, Sean, we're the baby boomers. We are no longer the majority of the population. And you know me. I've been able to attract young people, especially in inner city neighborhoods. That's the route.

Trump was very successful in getting male millennials over into voting for him for the presidency. And many people think that was the margin of his incredible victory, in which he swept through the seven battleground states and won the popular vote. He got the male millennials. Nobody thought it was possible. And I think you understand. I have that same kind of machismo, because when Trump went to Katona Park,

in the heart of the South Bronx and attracted 30,000 people supporting MAGA.

You know who was in Katona Park back in 1969 and every year after being received in the same manner by a cross-section of minorities? Curtis Sliwa. And you know that for a fact, Sean. That's why people need to go to Sliwa for NYC.com and see for yourself how we can turn this around the way Rudy Giuliani did when he was elected and people said, it's hopeless.

It's despair. It can't be done. Yes, it can be done. It has been done. We had George Pataki for 12 years as a governor. No corruption, no chaos. We had Rudy Giuliani eight years. No corruption, no chaos. It can be done because it has been done.

You know what, Curtis, I'm championing you and I have too many friends and you're the guy for the job. I fully wholeheartedly support you. New York City would be so much better off. We'll have you on many times between now and Election Day. Thank you, my friend.

If you want to be a part of the program, I have been reassured by key members of Republicans in the Senate that this issue of the Senate parliamentarian is going to be dealt with. What I am referring to now is

For the Republicans to get this one big, beautiful bill passed, they have this arcane legal process that they have to go through, and it's called reconciliation. This is how Biden passed the Inflation Reduction Act. This is how Obamacare was passed by Barack Obama. And by the way, the Senate parliamentarian at the time objected to many aspects of that bill, but that's another issue for another day.

Now, the Senate parliamentarian is not elected. And for the reconciliation process, why why why it is needed, it is allowed to be used for issues involving economic issues, bills that is passed by Congress. You don't need the 60 vote bill.

threshold that would needed, you know, as for cloture, in other words, to move forward with the bill, you need a simple majority of 51. Okay. That then gives the Republicans an opportunity to implement president Trump's economic agenda. Now the Senate parliamentarian is not elected and she's not accountable to the American people.

And yet she holds veto power over the over the legislation supported by millions of voters. And by the way, there was a point where Trent Lott, I think, was the one that fired a Senate parliamentarian. Their their role is to make a political judgments about Senate rules and procedures. Now, the Democrats want to make this as difficult.

as possible. Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama has called for the parliamentarian to be fired. But if you look at key portions of President Trump's agenda, the parliamentarian is claiming, using the reconciliation process in the Senate, that it doesn't fall into reconciliation.

OK, actually, on every issue that the person is ruling on, they just happen to be wrong. And this has to be dealt with first in the Senate. And then from there, it will be dealt with, you know, in conference, because there are some differences between the House version and the Senate version of this bill. I'm not trying I'm not trying to make this complicated, but it does need to be dealt with.

Now, the White House says Congress is debating big footnotes and the big beautiful bill. And anyway, the person that's kind of spearheading this is the White House director of the National Economic Council, Kevin Hassett.

He seems unfazed by the differences between the House and Senate versions and that in conference they'd come to an agreement. But I want to first get your reaction, Kevin, to what the Senate parliamentarian is saying, because he's trying to gut very key provisions of the Trump agenda.

Yeah, thanks for having me on, Sean. It's great to speak with you again. The bottom line is that you're 100% correct. The Senate parliamentarian is playing dishonest, partisan games, ruling stuff that has to be out of the bill that should be in the bill.

And the thing, though, I want to emphasize is that it's still going to be a big, beautiful bill. The president's main priorities are not being tossed out. And there's changes in language that can happen right up to the last minute, where in the end, the parliamentarian cakes. This is sort of part of the unfortunate Senate process that the Senate senators set the rules for.

uh... and they've agreed to do it this way for all of eternity ed they're playing by their rules of their times when it's really frustrating but the bottom line is don't lose sight of the prize of the prize is this is going to be a big beautiful bill is going to put ten thousand dollars into the pockets of the typical american family it's got a cause economic growth to go way north of three probably north of four percent and it's got a reduced

the deficit enormously because of the big spending cuts. And so, you know, I 100% understand the frustration that a lot of people have with the things that have been changed, things that we really want in the bill that the parliamentarians are ruling against. But I don't want the headline to be the bill is

is less, you know, isn't beautiful because it is going to be beautiful. Can the vice president who is the president of the Senate overrule the parliamentarian? Because the president called on, well, actually it was Congressman Greg Stubbe that called on Vice President Vance to overrule the parliamentarian. Is that allowed?

It is. It's unprecedented, but allowed and are almost unprecedented. The bottom line, though, is that the hope would be that they'll find ways to change language around the edges so that the parliamentarian stands down and we get everything we want in the bill. By the way, this did happen during Obamacare, correct? Correct.

That the parliamentarian was overruled? No, that the parliamentarian originally was against provisions, and then they changed the language, and then it's, quote, acceptable. Yes, that happens in every reconciliation bill is the parliamentarian –

It's kind of like every now and then the umpire is corrupt in a baseball game, but most of the time the umpire is just trying to follow the rules. And so the Senate has these rules that allow you to pass it in 51 votes, and the rules are pretty clear-cut. But every now and then there's some interpretation involved. And so they call it giving it a birdbath after Senator Byrd was the one who helped craft

these rules. It's based on the Byrd rule. If you want to describe it, you can. But by the way, it's true that in 2001, then-Majority Leader Trent Lott fired the Senate parliamentarian during reconciliation.

Sure. Sure. And I would not expect that this person is likely to keep their job. And if it gets really out of hand, then, of course, then the vice president can step in. And if this person knows that, then that hopefully will help them think about their decisions. But again, the bottom line, how much of this is in the hands of John Thune? Because he has made clear he didn't intend to overrule the parliamentarian.

He's – here's the thing. The Senate has lots of senators, and there are senators that agree with your position on the parliamentarian and more moderate senators that perhaps think, no, we got to –

do what the umpire says and so uh... i'm sure that senator boone is frustrated with the parliamentarian but it could well be that if he just disregard the problem terry at all together that there there would be senators that would say okay then i'm not going for the bill and so he's managing difficult thing but let me tell you this it's a hundred percent this bill is going to pass

it's a hundred percent this is going to pass by the weekend uh... it's going to have all the things that the president has insisted on they're going to be in the bill uh... the main headline things that when we uh... secretary doesn't i went up to meet with the leaders of congress

Maybe the 21st of January, we had a card of the president's top priorities that he ran on, and the no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security, all those things, permanent tax cuts. We had a card, a pocket card that we gave to everybody. It said this is what the president wants in the bill. And the president's bill, his fingerprints are all over this.

bill, and it's great. And the other thing I can tell you is that I was the dinner speaker for House members this week, and I would say that our expectation is that the Senate bill will be close enough to the House bill that the House members will consider and perhaps be willing to just pass the Senate bill right away and go home over the weekend.

So the Senate parliamentarian, as part of the rulings, actually ruled that illegal immigrants are eligible for federal student loans? Yes.

That tells me that this is a radical extreme leftist. And that person has been in this job since, what, 2012? This is that that is insane. You are 100 percent right to be outraged by that. And the fact is that remember that if you say that you can't give federal money to, say, an illegal, then the main reconciliation rule is it has to have an effect on the budget.

So you can't go in and say ban cigarettes because you don't like them in reconciliation because that doesn't have an effect on the budget or a direct effect on the budget. But if you stop spending on something, that has a direct effect on the budget. So of course Congress controls the purse strings. Of course Congress should have the right to stop spending on something. And so it's just a preposterous, preposterous ruling.

All right. Let's talk about some of the other changes to Medicaid and so on and so forth. I mean, there are some very significant, you know, provision changes. For example, the Medicare Medicaid provider rate, which is the amount that state Medicaid programs pay providers on behalf of Medicaid providers.

beneficiaries, which proved to be a divisive policy. But, you know, if you look at Medicaid, Medicare, one in one case, you're paying three times more for the same exact service than the other. And the work requirement for able bodied people that are are getting a government benefits, which is something Bill Clinton supported in case anyone's interested.

Yeah, Medicaid waste, fraud and abuse is rampant and there's a lot of savings that are going to be had in this bill because of ending waste, fraud and abuse. And there are also, they're putting money aside to make sure that rural hospitals are not affected by these reforms. And so I think that, you know, people are going to, some people, budget hawks, conservatives

are going to be thrilled with the progress, but they're going to want more in the end as well. Got to take a quick break. We'll come back more with Kevin Hassett, head of the head economic counsel to President Trump on the other side, as we watch this one big, beautiful bill, you know, and a clearly partisan Senate parliamentarian trying to muddy up the waters for Republicans. There will be a solution. Not much I can tell you. More on the other side, then we'll get to your calls coming up.

Are you sick of winning yet? Me either. World leaders, unions, businesses, social media, they all want to work with Trump. He said what he was going to do and then he did it. The White House is open for business and America is back. Hannity's on right now.

All right, we continue now. Kevin Hassett is with us, head economic counsel to President Trump, as we are getting an update on the one big, beautiful bill. We're really dealing with two problems here. One is the Senate parliamentarian, and the second is the House and Senate versions and coming to agreement on one final agreed-upon provision. Okay.

So how do you deal first with the Senate parliamentarian? How difficult the process is that going to be? I know Lindsey Graham, the Senate budget committee chair is all over this today. Are you saying that you believe that they'll, he'll sit down with the Senate parliamentarian and go line by line and get, and just like put a comma and a period and, and get the exact verbiage that the Senate parliamentarian wants and it will still be the same outcome.

In the end, it's a very difficult process to project right now, given the terrible rulings that happened over the last few days. But traditionally, what happens is that the rulings can change right up to the last minute when you agree to changing the language, and it's all kind of like a kabuki theater, because at the end, you get pretty much what you want.

but you had to say it a different way. And that's historically the way this process has gone. It's not clear to me that all of the changes will be satisfactory to everybody. And then at that point, the senators are going to have to decide what are we going to do about this? Well, what do you recommend, considering you're kind of trying to, you're at a leading point on spearheading this? Yeah, well, I'm not in the sense that the Senate has to pass a bill.

And it's a difficult process. So the senators have to decide how are they going for the for the White House. I mean, you've got to navigate a lot of this and work with the House and the Senate. You know, I guess the House passed their bill. The senator will pass their bill. It goes to conference. Now the Senate, you know, is they muddied the waters by trying to take out very key critical agenda items.

of the president and by an unelected, you know, bureaucrat that has been there since 2012 that thinks that we should be paying college tuition for illegal immigrants, which in and of itself is, it should be illegal. If it's not, I think it is illegal. Mm-hmm.

Right. Well, the Senate – we'll see what the final Senate bill looks like, but the hope is that the senators are able to navigate the bill to something so close to the House bill.

that the House members can just pass the Senate bill as is right away. And if the Senate is unable to do that... But you know there have been some House Republicans that have been pretty vocal that they don't like some of the changes made by the Senate. Of course. And so what the Senate has to do is get it as close to...

the House bill as they can, given that they've got different people in the Senate than there are in the House, so they all have their opinions. But it's my expectation that in the end, and I've spoken with leadership in the House and in the Senate. I gave the dinner talk to a whole bunch of House members just this week. And my expectation is that in the end, the House will be

comfortable enough with what they get from the Senate that that's the objective of the Senate, that we won't have to go into a conference. If they're not, then we can go into a conference. It could happen. But if that happens, then the bill won't be ready by the 4th.

So this is why we call it the swamp, isn't it? Because this is all swamp bureaucracy. And, you know, to have one unelected bureaucrat hold up a duly elected president and his agenda and a party and their agenda is,

is pretty spectacular to me. And I think the Republicans ought to bypass it any way they can and let the American people decide in the next election if they support the changes. There's your answer. Anyway, Kevin Hassett, we appreciate you being with us, sir. Thanks, Sean. Yep, bye-bye. 800-941-SEAN if you want to be a part of the program. You are listening to the best of The Sean Hannity Show. Exposing government waste and abuse of your liberties every day. Sean Hannity is on right now. Scott Brown. Remember Scott Brown was supposed to be the defining vote against Obamacare and the shenanigans the Democrats pulled? Well, Scott Brown is from New Hampshire and...

And he made an announcement today that he's running for the Senate as a Republican from the live free or die state of New Hampshire. Here's what he said. Hello, I'm Scott Brown. My life began here in New Hampshire at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Since then, I've had a lot of different titles, a soldier, senator, coach, husband, dad, and the Republican that won the so-called Kennedy seat and President Trump's ambassador to New Zealand and Samoa.

My life has been the American story, but I worry about what America is going to look like in the future for my four grandchildren and all of yours. And like a lot of you, I'm worried about where this country is headed. New Hampshire is an amazing place to live, work, and raise a family. We've been blessed by two great governors, Chris Sununu and Kelly Ayotte, but in Washington, we haven't been represented by the right people.

For four years, Chris Pappas has stood with Joe Biden as he opened the border, drove up the cost of everything, and made life just simply unaffordable. The extreme left wanted the police to fund it, Hamas to win, and men and women's sports.

President Trump is fighting every day to right the ship. He sealed the border. He stood up to China and he restored our standing in the world. If we send Chris Pappas to the Senate, we'll get more of the same. Out of touch policies he's pushed for during the terms that he's been there. Dragging us right back to the Biden years. It's time to move on.

All right, joining us now is Republican Senate candidate Scott Brown is back with us. I don't know, do I say congratulations or condolences? I'm not sure how to approach that to anybody that runs for office. I assume congratulations because you want to do it.

Well, first of all, we live in the greatest country in the world, and it's an honor to try to serve, and it's been an honor to serve as a U.S. senator and as President Trump's ambassador to New Zealand, Cook, Nui, Samoa, and our interest in Antarctica, you know, pushing back against China every day for almost the four years I served. So, yeah, it's an honor, but obviously it's a battle. You know, the Democrats will do their usual stuff, and, you know, the party of no, no, no, and complain, complain, and

So, yeah, it's exciting, and I really appreciate the opportunity to come on and tell people what's going on. Let's start, obviously, with this conflict. If you would have told me in 12 days that Israel would decimate the Iranians, knock out their air defense system, take out their top generals, take out their top nuclear scientists, bomb the living daylights out of two of their nuclear facilities, bomb

and take out other critical munitions and launchers and everything in between and be successful. And then that would be followed up by President Donald Trump wiping out their three nuclear facilities and wiping out their nuclear ambitions. And then, you know, within 12 days it ends and we're now at a ceasefire. I know it's a bit precarious. Nobody knows if it holds, but that's where we are at this moment.

I wouldn't have believed it. Yeah, no. Listen, they're going to write in the military textbooks this is going to be studied for generations. And in terms of what he did, listen, presidents have tried and wanted to do this since our embassy bombing and the taking of hostages.

uh... iran is a bad actor they were about bully in the region we all know that and as a result of one of the countries within that sphere uh... didn't work we had to build up the military and spend more time worrying about iran and then let's talk about how much has blown the hoodies you know yeah israel did a great job the president was bold he was courageous and the fact that that that the democrats want to now impeach him and the democrats have not said hardly one thing about the men and women who carried out this brilliant mission

it's it's uh... it's disappointing in its but it's not surprising cuz charges remember bill up brock obama went after uh... have been lied i congratulate a mister sir you get big balls congratulations and uh... you know he everyone rallied around them and he also dropped twenty six

thousand bombs on different countries. But he used that same authority along with Kennedy, Bay of Pigs, and a whole host of other people. Now the president does it, our president, and they want to impeach him. It's upside down and it's wrong. And that's another reason why I'm running, to be there to obviously protect the president and make sure that he can continue to do his job.

There's one state that I really can't figure out politically, and it's your state. And, you know, it elects Republicans, it elects Democrats, and you never seem to know which way it's going to go. I mean, we've had great people like Governor Sununu, for example, Kelly Ayotte, for example, and then they elect Democrats as well. And I'm just, can you explain it to me? I guess it's probably the most independent state in

of all the states in the union. Am I wrong on that? No, no, I think you're right. Listen, live free or die. And we've had Chris Sununu as governor and Kelly Ayotte as the senator and governor, and she's doing a great job. And, you know, we're blessed in that regard. But the federal delegation over the last decade has been basically trouncing on our New Hampshire advantage, putting in more regulations, more taxes, the open border, the sanctuary city, the

boys and men and women's and girls sports you know it's fighting to protect the illegals giving him rights giving away all of our our money and it with it will on different types of social programs so they're upside down in that regard and as a result of of that you know they come back from washington and incumbent try to be a moderate on the most bipartisan this i did

this, and I said, yeah, you can cherry-pick a couple of votes, but in this instance, Chris Pappas is like AOC, and, you know, who is like your new potential mayor in New York City. You know, they're just, it's the new state of the modern Democratic Party. You know, they're socialists on the verge of communists, and, you know, they are not that JFK's party anymore. That's for downshore.

Yeah, they really aren't. I mean, it was pretty miraculous that you were able to win in New Hampshire. I'm sorry, Massachusetts when you did, but you're really a guy from New Hampshire. Yeah.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Born at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. First couple of days after my birth, I went on Islington Street. And then when my parents got divorced, I went to my grandparents. And, you know, obviously they helped my mom in Wakefield. But, yeah, I have great memories in Wakefield. It was an honor to serve there. And the difference, obviously, between the people I'm running against, you know, the – listen, I've been a soldier, a father, grandfather, senator, ambassador. And, you know, I don't need another title. You know, Chris Pappas is looking for one.

But, you know, I want a stronger America. And as a result of what we're seeing now, obviously in the Middle East, what we're seeing with China, you need somebody. We need somebody. And remember, when you're a U.S. senator, you're not just representing your state. You're trying to make sure that the United States as a whole is safe and secure. You're making sure that we can have the tools and resources with our military to, you know, defend ourselves. And that's what's at stake here.

Let me ask you, you know, you were talking about the Democratic Party. This is what this party has now evolved into. They had an impeachment vote yesterday, for example, in the House. I have not seen Senator Schumer or many, if any, Democratic senators, with the exception of John Fetterman, that has applauded the president's successful mission knocking out Iranian nuclear facilities.

And it's it's not surprising. I mean, if Donald Trump cured cancer, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't care. But this party has evolved into a party of radicalism. It's not the old Democratic Party of Bill Clinton. It's not the party of the like, for example, we have this one big, beautiful bill that if you don't pass it and Republicans don't pass, it'll be the largest tax increase in history or the largest tax cut in history. I don't think you're going to get one Democrat to vote for that bill.

It also eliminates tax on tips and overtime. It also expands energy production to make America help make America most the most energy dominant country on Earth. It also gives money to secure our borders. It also gives money to create the next generation of weaponry. And as we learned on Saturday night, we need that.

to stay ahead of our adversaries on that front. Did it party of, I argue of coastal elites, you know, woke elites, uh,

that champion the rights of men to play women's sports, that put the rights of illegals over the safety of our own citizens, even illegals that are gang members. I mean, look at the rhetoric out of Los Angeles. They've only been arresting murderers, child molesters, gangsters, drug dealers, and the most violent criminals. And you would think, you know, it's the most horrible thing on earth, the party of Abrego Garcia. Yeah.

You know, this is the party, you know, that wouldn't stand for moms at a joint session speech of President Trump that lost their children because of their open borders policies. Now, that that is the Democratic Party today. And, you know, you talked about New Hampshire kind of they stay Republican local, but they've they've sent pretty radical, consistent, you know, Schumer, AOC, Democrats to the U.S. Senate. It doesn't make sense to me.

Yeah, Sean, first of all, you're eloquently describing exactly what's happening in our country. They're not Boy or Girl Scout leaders. They're radical gangbangers, quite frankly, a lot of the people that they're trying to get out of here. Very dangerous, and you've noted that for months and months and months. Yeah, listen...

bottom line is what you have to do is you're going to go earn the people's votes. You've got to point out the differences between our records and everything you talked about is what Chris Pappas cares about. And if folks want to get involved, they can go to scottbrown.com and let's send a message. We announced today we're ready to rock and roll. And the things that the president is working for, and you pointed out many times as well,

they can't find one thing not one thing not one dollar one program where we can save uh... you know some type of money whether it's a hundred bucks or a thousand bucks it's the party of no just leave it alone well if you leave it alone it's gonna fall apart whether it's

whether it's any of us social programs any of the programs that people actually need we don't take the uh... the illegals that are getting medicaid benefits for example out you know they're going to drain the system and if we don't do some other things and give people a small work requirement twenty hours showing you do that in a day

You're like 20 hours a day. You tell me you can't work 20 hours a week and volunteer and be an activist, go mow the lawn, volunteer at a baseball, you know, youth baseball or basketball. Come on. Well, they're demagoguing it and they're lying like they always do with their little talking point that Republicans are going to cut Medicare, Medicare and Social Security, none of which is true.

They're just eliminating waste, fraud and abuse. And for able bodied people, they are insisting that, hey, you do something, even if it's volunteers, you say.

Right. And Bill Clinton did it. What was the problem? He dropped the rolls by 60%. He required a head of work requirement. So things have gone so upside down, and we're not motivating. And this doesn't affect people with disabilities, pregnant moms and others who have absolute disabilities, and they absolutely need that. And I'll fight harder than anyone to make sure they get it. But for people who are

Just saying, you know what? I don't want to work. You know, it's hot out today. You know, and oh my gosh, Sean, they've got to fill out a few papers. It's very complicated, apparently. Give me a break, okay? Do your jobs. Get off the couch. Go help out. Volunteer. And who knows? You may find something you really enjoy. All right, quick break. We'll come back.

Yeah, I don't know, Sean. Last time I ran, I barely lost to Shaheen, the 14,000 votes. I had like 15 people and I beat him by over 50%. You know, primaries are good things. The Democrats, as we know by Biden, Harris don't like them because they have to answer questions. And, you know, the Democrats here are the same way. Oh, let's clear the field. God forbid he answers the tough questions. I love primaries. Let's go. Bring it. You know, answer questions, debate. I'll debate Chris Pappas right now on your show. Let's go. I'm ready. But, you know, one thing I want everybody to realize is if we don't control the House and Senate, this 2026 election is very critical. They just tried to impeach Donald Trump yesterday.

If Democrats get control of the House and Senate, all of his good work will come to a screeching halt.

He won't be able to accomplish anything at that point. And he will be impeached over and over and over again by, you know, a party that has been so radicalized.
