Government-operated grocery stores, food distribution, free buses, etc.

At that point, they don't have the money to pay for all this. They're going to agree new deal for 500 public schools, promoting the trans agenda, expanding and protecting gender affirming care, raising the minimum wage to $30 an hour.

you know, shutting down all ice, which by the way, which would be against federal law. And we do have jurisdiction. It's called the supremacy clause of our cop of our constitution.

You know, quote, queer liberation means defund the police. These are these are direct quotes from his posts on on X. We need to ban all guns. BDS is a righteous movement for liberation. Quote, there's no queer liberation with occupation, not for the, quote, queer Palestinians murdered by the IDF. You know, and then, of course, the global Antifata comment. We all remember that.

And, you know, we are the birthplace of global socialist feminist movement. I don't even know what half the stuff means. We need free abortion and contraception on demand. Climate change is the central issue of our time. The climate crisis isn't separate from the crisis of capitalism. Decarbonize our economy. Oppose all new fossil fuel infrastructure.

If we don't get it, shut it down. When we tax the rich, we're reclaiming the wealth bosses and corporations that are stealing. We can build a socialist New York. We should exercise eminent domain, acquire the 4,000 unsold luxury apartments in New York City for homeless families, sex workers in Queens from Flushing to Jackson Heights, endure nonstop harassment, not only from bigots but the NYPD.

We need to decriminalize sex workers now. Open up the city's F.H.E.P.S. to undocumented undocumented siblings. You know, free Palestine. We will support.

I mean, it just goes on and on. Oh, safe injection sites. Israel is committing genocide. White supremacy has many faces from the police and prison system to occupational and apartheid in Palestine. I am Donald Trump's worst nightmare. We're showing up in Bryant Park to say no to Trump's union busting anti-immigrant, anti-LGBT agenda.

Stop New York registered charities from donating money to illegal Israeli settlements. Abolish medical bills. Well, who's going to pay the doctor? We need to abolish private insurance. This will be the biggest disaster in New York City history. Anyway, let me play Mom Donnie and some of his highlights for you, and then we'll get some reaction. You're a proud Democratic Socialist. Do you think that is a platform that would work?

for other candidates running in other parts of the country? Absolutely. I think ultimately this is a campaign about inequality and you don't have to live in the most expensive city in the country to have experienced that inequality because it's a national issue. I'll meet with anyone.

I will meet with them and I'll explain why I believe in the necessity of raising the top corporate tax rate. And I'll also tell Bill Ackman that I firmly disagree with his attempt to dismantle diversity, equity and inclusion across the country because it's not only against the morals of so many, it's also against the actual bottom line for so many businesses. And as a businessman, he should understand that. Do you like capitalism?

No, I have many critiques of capitalism. And I think ultimately the definition for me of why I call myself a democratic socialist is the words of Dr. King decades ago. He said, call it democracy or call it democratic socialism. There must be a better distribution of wealth for all of God's children in this country. All right. So, Mon, but Donnie thinks the democratic socialism is a good platform for other democratic candidates. This is great for the Democratic Party. Even even crazy Carvel knows this is bad news.

He's not going to work with the Trump administration on deportation. That would be breaking the law. He believes in the necessity of raising the corporate tax and DEI in businesses. What, that's going to be mandated? AOC is an inspiration to me, he said. And anyway, he was asked if his city-run grocery store idea is Soviet Union grocery stores on every corner. I mean, is that what that is? I'd like a deeper explanation.

Wants to pay for free buses, universal child care by taxing corporations and the rich. Rich in New York, they pay all the taxes in New York City. I don't like capitalism. There must be better distribution of wealth for all of God's children. Okay, we'll empower our government, take people's money and give it to people that will vote for you. That's what it sounds like to me. Anyway, Misha Maynor is with us and Darius Mayfield is with us.

As we discuss this, Misha is the former Georgia state rep and former Democrat, and Darius Mayfield, Republican congressional candidate, Virginia's 7th district. Misha, former Democrat, explain to me, is this good for the Democratic Party and Brent? Thank you for having me back, Sean. Everything that you just said in that opening gave me a headache, to be honest with you.

Americans better pay attention. Democrats like him are selling control as compassion. But to me, socialism is like slavery 2.0. It's anti-freedom, anti-business, anti-education, and anti-faith. It tells people they're too weak to succeed without government handouts. I left the Democrat Party because I read the Constitution.

And I listened to real families that were trapped in these welfare prisons and failing school districts, which are all run by Democrats. So for New Yorkers, this isn't social justice. It's a setup. It's not American, and it's oppression with a lipstick, if you want my opinion. Let's get your take, Darius.

Well, Sean, thank you for having me on today. And, you know, I think not only is this bad for Democrats, but I think this is great for Republicans if Republicans do the right things going forward. And that starts with electing common sense Republicans like myself. I'm pretty uniquely positioned to actually talk about this because, one, I moved from a progressive state, New Jersey, to Virginia to escape.

some of these same policies that we're talking about now. And also, I grew up in New Jersey, so right across the bridge from New York, so I spent a lot of time there. And I understand what doesn't work, and I understand the path of New York. They just had a progressive mayor in de Blasio there not too long ago that tried to implement a lot of these same policies, and New Yorkers rejected those policies. That's why you got somebody like an Eric Adams afterwards, who one of the first things Eric Adams did when he went in there was put

over 600 plainclothes officers back on the street because under de Blasio, you had double-digit gains in violent crimes and rapes and car thefts and things of that sort. So, you know, this is just Democrats now doubling and tripling down on their failures of the 2024 presidential election, and that's good news for Republicans. But what Republicans need to do is make sure we have empathy, make sure we're willing

willing to listen to everybody's plight because we do have the issues at the end of the day. And I've been telling the Republicans this for the last six, seven, eight years. We have the issues. We don't always relay them the right way, but that's why it's important that we show that empathy and go in there and start talking to people because people in these communities that Zoran's

purportedly claims to represent. They want their police. They don't want to defund them. They want a better relationship with their police. They want respect between them and their police. And people like myself can help accomplish those things, but they want their police because they understand what happens if they get rid of them. They want lower taxes. They don't want to tax the rich. They want those rich people to actually build more jobs and bring more jobs in, not

take them away like AOC did a few years ago when they closed down a Google factory that was going to go into place because of her say-so. And she eliminated essentially hundreds of high-paying jobs in the city of New York. People don't want this. So this is bad news for the Democrats. This is great news for Republicans. We just need to capture this and go about it the right way going forward, and I plan to do that here in the 7th District.

We continue now with Misha Maynor and Darius Mayfield talking about the impact on the Democratic Party with the Democratic mayoral candidate of New York City, Zoran Mamdani. So here's where we stand, Misha, with your old party. They had a chance in the U.S. Senate to stand up for women's rights in sports and Title IX, but they decided to champion the rights of men to play women's sports.

They are about to oppose the largest tax cut in history and by doing so they will support the largest tax increase in history. They won't support the president's plan on no tax on tips and no tax on overtime, which is great for hardworking men and women. And I say that as somebody that worked in the service industry for a decade of my life and in construction for almost a decade of my life.

They are fighting for the rights of the illegals. Well, first of all, they lied about the borders being closed and secure for four years. And they allowed terrorists and murderers, rapists and cartel members and gang members in our country. And we have paid a very dear price and will continue to for a long time. But, you know, the champion championing the rights of Abrego Garcia is.

In L.A., you know, ICE has been telling us they're arresting murderers and child molesters and drug dealers and gang members. And they're furious at ICE out in Los Angeles. And that doesn't make any sense to me because they're putting the rights of illegals over the safety of citizens.

This is the party of the Green New Deal, which is cradle to grave, womb to the tomb. What does government do? Well, I mean, in in every big city that has been run by Democrats for decades, how is law and order and safety and security doing? How's your educational system doing? Do people like paying all those high taxes? Why is there a mass exodus out of these blue states today?

to states with lower taxes, better services, better schools? - You know, when I think about the crisis that we're in right now, half the country really believes that President Trump is the source of every problem they have and the other half believes that

These Democrat policies like Zoran's is in fact the problem. The New York mayoral race is going to be a reflection of what could be if Republicans do not really do a better job at messaging to independents, swing voters and all the disgruntled Democrats that are out there.

People like Zoran, they believe government control is necessary because they believe, honestly, that the American people are ignorant, feeble, and incapable of making decisions for themselves. And it frightens me, honestly. As a mom, I have a little girl in middle school, another one in college. Their solution is a cement ceiling that offers economic imprisonment. You know, think about the free block of government cheese that was given back in the day.

People are campaigning right now as Democrats that are anti-American, anti-family, anti-school for that matter. Democrats are also against just the principles. And when you think of like a growth mindset, their version of government control is telling people you can't make more than minimum wage. You have to go to the school that I tell you to go to. You have to go to this doctor. You have to eat at this grocery store. You can't go to church when I tell you you can't go to church. It

It's really vital that Americans are educated on the core values of our country. And it needs to start with the Constitution, regardless of whatever historical context that people have against it. If you don't know your rights, you don't know your rights. And right now, immigrants know more about the civics of America than actual Americans.

So I think we need to really be focused on K-12 education, which President Trump is doing with revamping the Department of Education or abolishing it. I think he's doing a great thing with that. The more local we can bring back education to get our country back on track.

So Brian, I didn't hear your exchange with him, but if I was speaking to him directly, I would simply say that is not how the words are received. And it doesn't matter what meaning you have in your brain, it is not how the word is received. And when you use a word like intifada to many Jewish Americans and Jewish New Yorkers, that means you are permissive for violence against Jews. It is a serious word. It is a word that has deep meaning. It has been used

for wars across time and violence and destruction and slaughter and murder against the Jews. It is a harmful, hurtful, inappropriate word for anyone who wants to represent a city as diverse as New York City with 8 million people. And I would be very specific in these words. And I would say you may not use them again if you expect to represent everyone ever again because they are received as hateful and divisive.

and harmful and that's it. So I appreciate that he told you he didn't mean that and that's great. That's a great place to start. - And I think we also clarify or he was clarifying that he never said globalize the Antifada. He was asked in an interview if he would denounce the phrase globalize the Antifada and then that led to this kind of conversation that you were just referring to but that he was never out there saying globalize the Antifada. He was asked about other people who used it. So just to be precise about what happened there, yes?

Well, as a leader of a city as diverse as New York City with 8 million people, as the largest Jewish population in the country, he should denounce it. And that's it. Period. And you can't celebrate it. You can't value it. You can't lift it up. On that radio interview, I agree with Kirsten Gillibrand. He should denounce it. What's so hard about that? Listen to AOC, who had supported Mamdani and says this is about the message that the people of New York City are trying to send to our party.

This is getting fascinating to watch this intramural battle. But more importantly, the leadership of the Democratic Party is scared to death to take on the likes of AOC, the squad, Jasmine Crockett, the Elizabeth Warren's grandpa, Bernie's of their party, the loud voices in their party that have silenced the likes of Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries. Listen.

We have a choice to listen to that message that people are sending us or not. This isn't just about Mr. Mamdani as an individual. This is about the message that the people of New York City are trying to send to our party. Now, James Carville, he's been a little off the rails lately. I don't know what's happened. He used to be pretty reasonable.

But he, I think, got this one right. Crazy Carvel says Mamdani's victory is potentially a damaging event for Democrats. They can't escape the socialism question. Listen, I can't imagine that any Democratic candidate anywhere in a country is going to be able to escape answering this question. I think the microphones will follow them around. I think that they're going to pound this home as hard as they possibly can.

And it's also, you know, honestly, given, you know, what, of course, everybody's going to try to do, let's look at our nominees in Virginia and New Jersey. And great. I mean, that has to be a big part of our answer. And depending on who comes in a general election, there's a lot of Democrats going to have a hard go at this. I think it's a potentially damaging event.

It's beyond damaging. And James knows it. He's not stupid. I've debated him. Smart guy. Used to be a fun guy. He's getting a little crazy in his old age. I'm not sure why, but I still like him deep down. I can't help it. I always liked the guy. I want to hang out with, but he's a, he's crazy. Carvel can't help it. Bernie, Ohio, a liberal. What's up? Liberal Bernie. What's going on? Yeah. Um, I, uh,

I know that you guys think that Trump did a great thing and everything with bombing Iran using the bunker bombs and all that. But this is a situation that he created when he got rid of the agreement that we had with

with iran so every you mean the agreement that was in place by barack obama and you think that you should reward the number one state sponsor of terror with billions of dollars and cash and other currency and do a deal and and give up all that money to a terror regime you're okay with that do you think that was a good deal

There was a deal set in place. Stop. I asked you a question. Was it the right decision of Barack Obama and Joe Biden to send cargo planes full of cash and other currency, billions of dollars, to the number one state sponsor of terror and the mullahs in Iran? Was that a smart decision? It was an agreement. So, yeah, I didn't ask you if it was an agreement.

You see, you can't answer the question because you know it'll sound asinine if you give the truthful answer. Was it a good idea, yes or no, for Barack Obama to send cargo planes with billions in cash and other currency to the mullows in Iran, the number one state sponsor of terror? Yes or no? Good idea or bad idea? I say yes. And can I explain?

You say it was a good idea to send the number one state sponsor of terror, you know, billions in cash and other currency. That was a good idea to you. Go ahead. Tell me why.

OK, because, number one, it kept them from producing any any kind of like nuclear weapons. False, false. Stop, stop, stop. No, you're not allowed to lie on this program. They accelerated the nuclear program because they had the money now to do it. And number two, it accelerated their their proxy terror war against Israel because they had the money to buy and create the weaponry. So you're wrong.

Next point. They increased their ability to do so after Donald Trump. Can you acknowledge this? Is Iran the number one state sponsor of terror? Can you acknowledge that simple truth? I don't know. I'm not an expert on state sponsors. Well, then why are you calling this program trying to act like, you know, telling Donald Trump what to do? If you can't acknowledge, if you don't read a newspaper, if you don't follow the news, they are the number one state sponsor of terror.

And the fact is, you know that to be true. But because of politics, you just won't admit the truth. Why don't you admit that the number one state sponsor of terror, they help plot and plan and fund October 7th. They fund Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, the militias in Syria and and Iraq and the Houthi rebels. Can you acknowledge basic fundamental truth or this? You're just wasting my time on this Friday. I'm not really in the mood for playing games.

I don't have those records to review in front of me. Do you? You don't have the records. Did you ever watch the news? Do you ever read a newspaper? Do you ever read anything? Which news? Your news? I think it's consistent with how he has managed foreign policy in his first term by taking out the caliphate, by taking out Soleimani, by taking out Baghdadi and by take, you know, dropping the mother of all bombs on Afghanistan, but also preventing us for getting involved in these forever wars.

And there is one way to get around it in the U.S. Senate, and that's reconciliation. And this is what they've run into with the Senate parliamentarian. And instead of needing 60 votes to actually get the president's agenda across the line, you can do it with 51 votes. But everything has to do with taxes and spending. And, you know, there are very rigid guidelines because you have to deal with the Byrd rule. The Byrd rule, you know, can be very stringent and arduous.

So it's never going to be under those circumstances and that there's no blame to go around to any Republican on this.

to get a majority of what we want. What will we get out of this bill for sure? We're going to get the largest tax cut in history. We're going to get for sure no tax on tips, no tax on overtime. We're going to get for sure money for the border so we can secure the border and money for national defense for the next generation of weaponry and some level of reform when it comes to Medicaid, etc.,

So they're working on, you know, language that will be acceptable to the Senate parliamentarian. They won't get everything that they want. There's enough good in there for me to say that it's it's perhaps even one of the more conservative bills that they've ever passed. However, as Lindsey Graham has said on this program, they've got to come back and cut more. And he says there should be a second reconciliation bill. I agree with them.

I hope that answers your question. Yeah, there's things in there I'm never going to like, nobody's going to like, but it's just either that or you stick with the Harris-Biden economy. That's our choice here. Not a good choice, but you make the best of a bad situation in my view, imperfect as it is.
