Fox Weather.
I'm meteorologist Nick Koser and here's the latest from America's Weather Center. Flash flooding is possible in the southeast through Monday. Three to five inches of rainfall is expected in spots from Tallahassee, Florida right through Charleston, South Carolina as rain will rake across the area.
Meanwhile, Florida will finally get some much-needed rain heading into next week. An atmospheric river of deep tropical moisture will drop 3 to 5 inches of rain across northern parts of the state.
Finally, it's going to be hot in the northern plains right into Monday of this coming week. High temperatures are expected to be 20 to 30 degrees above average, with over 20 record high temperatures expected to fall during the heat wave. Get the latest weather updates anytime, anywhere.
