Fox weather morning in Fox weather meteorologist Michael estimate with you in America's weather center. What a difference a day makes. We made it into the mid 60s in Central Park on Saturday, but a cold Arctic blast of air moving through overnight sending temperatures into the 20s in New York City, Philadelphia and Boston.
And all three cities will struggle to make it above freezing under mostly sunny skies this afternoon. Now thankfully this cold blast is short-lived and temperatures should rebound into the 40s and 50s by Tuesday and Wednesday.
We're also keeping a track on a slight risk for strong to severe thunderstorms across far eastern Texas panhandle and into southwest Oklahoma this afternoon and into this evening. Large hail and damaging winds are going to be the primary threat, but an isolated tornado will also be possible. Stay weather ready and weather aware if you plan on being out and about.
