It's still well to the east of the Lesser Antilles, but a signal that the Saharan dust may actually have a little break in it and we could see something possibly develop
This weekend into early next week, we are still a ways out. There are so many variables ahead. The dry air is keeping it at bay right now, but as it gets closer to the northern Caribbean and even out towards areas like the Bahamas, there are more favorable conditions early next week. Of course, we're going to keep an eye on it. Despite the quietness of the tropics overall on land, it's been very active. The severe storms yet again for the Midwest.
