I'm Fox weather meteorologist Britta Merwin. A little bit of division across the country. Here's the latest from America's Weather Center. So western half of our country, warm, sunny. Eastern half, cool, gray, and a lot of rain. Let's break it down. We'll head to the northeast first. Grab your jackets, your umbrellas. We have scattered showers, chilly temperatures, and a light breeze. Meanwhile, higher elevations across New England, picking up snow. The state of Maine could see over six inches of snow, a late season treat.
Meanwhile, down to the south, it's stormy. We've had severe weather across the I-10 corridor that is likely to continue between Louisiana and Florida. And then on to the good stuff. If you like sunshine, the West Coast is the place to be. Western half of our country soaring with sunshine and temperatures well above average. In fact, we have 90 degree heat. We've got plenty more time for that weeks ahead from now, but it's starting early for Arizona. Make sure you drink lots of water, slather on that sunscreen. You can get the latest weather updates anytime, anywhere. Just download the Fox Weather app at foxweather.com.
