Fox weather. I'm Fox weather meteorologist Jane Menard with the latest from America's Weather Center. The Gulf Coast, we've got heavy rain that's shifting across Mississippi, Alabama into the Florida Panhandle as we get into tonight. The storm itself is going to set up in South Florida come Monday afternoon. Miami to Fort Lauderdale on the target for some isolated flood concerns as heavy rain picks up Monday afternoon into early Tuesday morning.
Rain is also a big problem in the Pacific Northwest. An atmospheric river has been targeted at the region since Friday night, and it's going to show no signs of letting up tonight and then particularly into tomorrow with our storm system barreling onshore by Monday afternoon. That means heavy rain from Seattle to Portland. The flood threat is going to be a bit heightened, along with some strong winds that could lead to some power outages at times.
