Fox weather. Hi there, I'm Fox weather meteorologist Craig Herrera with the latest from America's Weather Center. The snowstorm is now moving into the mid Atlantic today. It will miss major cities like New York, DC, Baltimore. The heaviest snow will be over portions of Virginia, specifically southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. We are talking 8 to 12 inches of

fresh snow. This is the storm that came out of the plains yesterday in the Tennessee River Valley. It is going to bring some snow to those recovering from Haleen as well. With the cold air and then warm air coming up over it, we're going to get some dangerous ice conditions over a good chunk of eastern North Carolina. Please be careful on the roads.

This is all across the country from north to south. Then we'll continue to watch more in the way of Lake Quebec snow showers for parts of New York and Michigan.
