I'm meteorologist Ari Sarsalari, and here's the latest from America's Weather Center. The severe threat starting to ramp down as we go through the overnight, but we're still going to have some storms around up in the northeast. We had several wind gusts over 70 miles an hour in Pennsylvania as that line of storms was coming through on Sunday. In places like New York City, not expecting wind gusts quite that strong, but they'll be a little bit on the gusty side. Could see an isolated severe storm or two.
Thunderstorm activity again starts to die down through the overnight, and then it's mostly just a showery day throughout the day on Monday up in the northeast. Another snowstorm coming up for areas farther out toward the west for the Rockies on Tuesday. Then it moves into the Midwest on Wednesday, parts of the upper Midwest as well, and then the Great Lakes on Thursday. A lot of wind with this storm, so we'll keep you updated with how strong we're expecting. We're probably going to see some 40 to 50 mile per hour wind gusts with that one. Might get close to blizzard conditions in some spots, but luckily it doesn't look like a big severe weather maker.
