I'm meteorologist Nick Koser. Here's the latest from America's Weather Center. Well, after a rainy Saturday in the northeast, it'll stay dry on Sunday, especially further south with temperatures remaining cooler than average with windy conditions, a northerly wind between 20 and 30 miles per hour throughout the day.

Meanwhile, Florida staying hot and dry. Tampa will have a shot at breaking or tying a record high every day through Monday. Tampa's already recorded seven 90-degree days in the month of April, tying the record set back in 1991. Finally, the big story heading into next week. On Monday, a four-out-of-five level threat for severe weather is expected in the northern plains. The greatest risk is centered on Iowa and areas from extreme northeastern Kansas into southeastern Minnesota and southwestern Wisconsin.
