I'm Fox weather meteorologist Steve Bender. Here's the latest from America's Weather Center. Recapping the monster storm that pushed through the country so far this week. We see it coming to an end in areas like North Carolina, Virginia late tonight. Good snow, though. Record setting snow for many locations. It was right near the Virginia Beach Norfolk area where they got nearly destroyed.

A foot of snow, many areas double digits. And then just north of Elizabeth City, they also had nearly a foot of snow. What awaits for the rest of the week? Well, it's the big temperature swing. So many spots under extreme cold warnings. That's in place all the way down into south Texas, up into the northern tier. Those temperatures will warm up in the days ahead over the weekend.
