Forget the quiet start to the month of March with severe weather kicking into high gear through at least Wednesday with millions from Texas to the Carolinas under the threat. Storms that fired this evening through the southern plains, they'll continue working east overnight and by Tuesday,

We have the threat ramping up from southern Arkansas to Mississippi and northern Louisiana. Timing is going to be a challenge as Mardi Gras celebrations continue in New Orleans, which have a likely threat for severe weather, but those storms will continue working east. And then by Wednesday, that severe weather threat persists for the eastern seaboard getting in on the action. Severe weather concerns
