I'm Fox weather meteorologist Michael Estimay. Here's the latest from America's Weather Center. If you're visiting the northern Rockies or the Pacific Northwest, have your umbrellas and your winter weather gear ready and set to go. It's a fire hose of rain and snow that will impact western Washington this evening before blasting into Oregon, northern California, Idaho and Montana into the weekend. Localized flooding will be an issue, especially in western Montana.

And although it's been a brutally cold past couple of days in the northern plains and the Midwest, more mild temperatures are finally on the way. High temperatures have been below freezing in Minneapolis-St. Paul for quite some time now, but will finally crack the freezing mark on Saturday.
