Fox weather meteorologist Craig Herrera with the latest from America's Weather Center. A little unsettled across the lower 48. Stronger storms for the morning hours from Missouri to Arkansas, but with a pickup again this afternoon, that extends really from the upper Midwest into the lower Missouri and mid-Mississippi valleys.

A few thunderstorms coming through and the ground is saturated here. A storm shift east on Thursday along with the heat and humidity. When we begin, the first major heat wave for millions from the plains to the mid-Atlantic and the northeast.
