Fox Weather.
Hey there, I'm Fox weather meteorologist Craig Carrero with the latest from America's Weather Center. A little unsettled today from the Rockies to the eastern seaboard. Strongest storms today expected across Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Colorado, including Iowa. Could bring some giant hail, extreme damaging winds up to 80 miles per hour or greater. Hailstones two inches or greater. The bullseye will be central and southwestern Kansas and rainfall totals one to four inches of rain into Iowa, northern Missouri and northeast Kansas. So we could see some flooding here as well.
Severe wind gusts today from West Virginia to Southern Pennsylvania into Maryland, Delaware, as well as Virginia. And then as we go into Wednesday, the storms will be focused across the Southern Great Lakes into the Southern Plains. Those storms move to the East Coast on Thursday. So does the heat and humidity. Critical fire concerns today for eastern Arizona into western New Mexico. Dry and windy out there. An area to watch south of Mexico bringing heavy rainfall.
