Fox Weather.
Good morning Fox weather meteorologist Michael Estimé with you in America's Weather Center. Although spring began 44 days ago, in parts of the Midwest it'll feel like winter as friends and family in northern Michigan are waking up to freeze watches and frost advisories. Grab your winter jackets this morning as you're up and out the door with temperatures only in the mid-30s. By tomorrow morning we're even colder with temperatures around Traverse City, Michigan hovering
around freezing. Thankfully, we warm up this weekend and we're tracking a potent cold front moving through the Midwest that will ignite showers and thunderstorms in Kentucky and the Tennessee River Valley this afternoon and this evening. Several of those storms that develop could be strong to severe with large hail being our primary threat. Keep an eye to the sky around dinnertime tonight if you have any plans on being out and about.
