Fox weather. Good morning, Fox weather meteorologist Mike Lestamay with you in America's Weather Center. Although we were cloudy and cool with a few stray showers in New England and the Northeast yesterday, we'll finally dry things out today in New York City with more sunshine. Temperatures will still be cool in the upper 60s for highs today, but a big warm up is on the way by mid to late week with temperatures in the mid and upper 80s.
80s expected by the time we get to Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
And if you were planning on making it a beach day in central and south Florida, I'd make sure to have a few other indoor options available. It's a slow-moving cold front that's going to be responsible for igniting scattered showers and thunderstorms from Fort Myers to West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale to Miami and the Keys.
