I'm meteorologist Ari Sarsalari. Here's the latest from America's Weather Center. Got a lot of rain on tap for the southeast over the next couple of days. Of course, one part of this is the fact that Florida especially really needs this rain. It's pretty tough to get out of a drought without at least some flooding, though, so expect some on and off flash flooding issues. We could see an isolated couple of severe storms as well, some damaging wind or hail, maybe even a tornado or two, but it's the heavy rain that we're the most concerned about there. Again, it's not only Florida. It's going to be parts of Georgia, the Carolinas,
Apart from that, lingering showers up in the northeast today, especially parts of New England. But for the most part, you get south of there and things will be pretty dry. And very warm temperatures on tap for the upper Midwest and the northern plains. Going to last over the next several days. Places like Minneapolis will be up in the 90s, just well above average temperatures. And we'll see a lot of record highs being broken. Get the latest weather updates anytime, anywhere.
