I'm Fox weather meteorologist Jane Minar with the latest from America's Weather Center. On this Easter weekend, severe storms are expected through this afternoon and into tomorrow. Watching West Texas for big time hail threat, training storms through the mid south into the Ohio Valley brings a flooding concern as we go into early tomorrow morning. Watch this threat ramps up on Sunday. This includes the Ozarks, central Missouri down into the upper Texas coastline.
Heat building in for the East Coast. High temperatures expected through the 80s this afternoon. We do see temperatures fall a bit with the cold front passage will only top the 60s across the Northeast as we get into Easter Sunday, but that heat continues to build in the South Atlanta Charlotte pushing the 90s closing out the weekend.
