Fox Weather.
I'm Fox weather meteorologist Marissa Torres and here's the latest from America's Weather Center. We navigate this Thursday with very similar threats from Wednesday, a dangerous day on tap for millions of Americans as we track yet again rounds of severe thunderstorms that are expected through this afternoon and into tonight for the mid-south, west through the Ozarks and into the Arklatex. Large hail, very large hail, strong tornadoes all possible yet again. The threat is
should not be as numerous as what we saw on Wednesday with our tornado outbreak, but the intensity of these storms, it could be the same. Level three out of five threat, that is our highest threat from the Storm Prediction Center for today, and it does include Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Memphis, Tennessee. Now, the storm system is also to blame for the potential of historic flash flooding, catastrophic, life-threatening flash flooding. A lot of that started yesterday across the lower Ohio Valley and Mid-South. We have a high risk of excessive rainfall, a four out of four in effect for southwestern Kentucky into western Tennessee and northeastern Arkansas.
