Fox Weather.

Hi there, I'm Fox weather meteorologist Craig Herrera with the latest from America's Weather Center. Today we're watching some showers and thunderstorms for the morning hours and afternoon, really from the eastern plains of New Mexico and Colorado clear over into Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. The stronger storms likely to pop up over eastern New Mexico and the panhandles of Texas and Oklahoma producing strong winds, hail and maybe even some tornadoes. While the storms are moving through quickly producing all modes of severe weather possible,

We will also see flash flooding because they're popping up in the same location. To the southeast, continuing to watch that non-tropical area of low pressure off the coast of the Carolinas, bringing periods of heavy rain right through Friday from the Florida-Georgia line to the outer banks of North Carolina. Gusty winds 30 to 40 miles per hour. In the north and northeast through New England, hot, humid, a few scattered showers today, tomorrow, and into Saturday. Not washouts all day, but be ready for that clearing out by Sunday. Get the latest weather updates anytime, anywhere. Download the Fox Weather app at foxweather.com.
