Hey there, I'm Fox weather meteorologist Craig Herrera with the latest from America's Weather Center. A happy 4th of July weekend to you. We'll begin with North Dakota and Minnesota. Storms this morning active and they will pick up again this afternoon with winds up to 60 miles per hour, hail and the chance for rotating storms each day through the weekend with up to 3 inches of rain by Sunday. Meantime, watch for some winds coming out of the Central Plains and the Mississippi Valley from those storms. We could see some dry lightning out of eastern Oregon and the Great Basin. That's a concern for fire danger.

Watching the southeast coastline for possible tropical or subtropical development. Regardless, plan on heavy rain for Florida and the southeast Atlantic coastline into early next week. Meantime, a break for the northeast after stormy conditions yesterday. Less humid as well. 80s from Boston to New York, Philadelphia and D.C. A few scattered storms for Orlando, 86.
