I'm Fox weather meteorologist Jane Minar with the latest from America's Weather Center. On this Easter Sunday, we are tracking a severe risk for storms, particularly across Missouri and Arkansas. The threat for a couple of strong tornadoes, damaging winds and hail on the table as we head through late afternoon into the evening hours. Going through the rest of the night tonight, that front and that line of storms continues to carve its way off across the southeast.

Meanwhile, both coasts shrouded with some sunshine, some heat building in for this Easter Sunday, particularly a little further to the southeast across Georgia and the Carolinas. Temperatures up through the 90s. We're going to hold on to that heat as we go through the early half of this week. Temperatures come down a touch in the northeast after a very warm Saturday, but we are back to business with those temperatures pushing near 80 come Wednesday.
