Heading over to the Diamond, look out for the Padres. San Diego has kicked off the 2025 campaign 7-0 for the first time in their 57-season history, beating the Guardians 5-2 today. Center fielder Jackson Merrill celebrated his new nine-year $135 million contract by launching a two-run home run in the third inning. Skeens, the reigning National League Rookie of the Year, went seven innings, striking out six without a walk and allowing one unearned run as the Pirates defeated the Rays 4-2.

It's the second surgery on the same knee in just over a year. In late February, Embiid was ruled medically unable to play after appearing in just 19 games.
