Two legendary college basketball coaches will renew their rivalry in the NCAA tournament. John Calipari's Arkansas Razorbacks and Rick Pitino's St. John's Red Storm will face off Saturday in the second round with a spot in the Sweet 16 on the line. The two have crossed paths over the years. They met four times previously in March Madness, most notably when Calipari was at Kentucky and Pitino was coaching Louisville. I don't know how long he was at Louisville when I was at Kentucky.
But you're not going to be friends when you've got those two jobs. You're not going to be enemies, but... That was Calipari talking to the media on Friday with the Arkansas head coach saying he has respect for Patino and what he's done during his career. Patino has revived the St. John's program, leading the Red Storm to the Big East regular season and conference tournament titles, while Calipari has his Razorbacks playing well after starting off 0-5 in SEC play.

In other tournament scores, six-seed Ole Miss let most of a 22-point lead slip away against 11-seed North Carolina, before closing out the Tar Heels with a 71-64 victory. After the Tar Heels cut the lead to two with just over a minute to play, Ole Miss senior guard Sean Padula knocked down a huge three to give the Rebels some breathing room, with Padula saying it was the biggest bucket of his career. At that point in the game, they were on a huge run, and we needed that bucket.
So I just, like I said, shot it with confidence and, you know, the rest was in God's hands. Ole Miss now advances to face three-seed Iowa State in the second round. In NFL news, veteran quarterback Jameis Winston is heading to the Big Apple. According to Fox Sports, Winston is finalizing a two-year deal with the Giants that could be up to $16 million with incentives. Winston started seven games for the Browns last season after Deshaun Watson suffered a season-ending Achilles tendon tear in Week 7.
