Skubal allowed only one hit through seven innings against the Twins, finished with 13 strikeouts.
The Tigers, who were tied with the reigning World Series champion Dodgers for the best record of the major leagues, scored a 3-0 win over the Athletics. Scooble, the first Tigers pitcher since 1930 to win 10 straight decisions. Over his last 15 starts, Scooble has a record of 10-0 with a 1.74 earned run average.
