Fox Sports Update. It looks like Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy will not be facing domestic assault charges after all. While the 2024 first round draft pick was arrested Friday night in Texas, the Williamson County District Attorney telling the Austin American-Statesman that after talking to multiple witnesses, authorities will not be pressing charges and his office will not be accepting the case at this time.
Shortly after the arrest, Worthy's lawyer had put out a statement saying that the accusation came from a former girlfriend who refused to move out after he caught her cheating and had been attempting to extort Worthy before making this, quote, faceless allegation. I'm ready for my life to change. ABC Sunday, American Idol returns. Give it your all. Good luck. Come out with a golden ticket. Let's hear it. This is a man's world.

Coincidentally, it also has a few matchups that we can see again in the postseason. That includes in the SEC, where Auburn, which is ranked number one in the country, visited its biggest rival, seventh-ranked Alabama. The score tied at 91, just a few seconds left in overtime, with Alabama's Mark Sears with the ball. Sears! Sears!
Courtesy of ESPN, yes, we are serious. Bama wins it at the buzzer. More craziness in the Big East, which, just like Auburn and Alabama, saw 6th-ranked St. John's and 20th-ranked Marquette also head to overtime. But they were also still tied with time winding down on Fox. Wilton and to follow! St. John's at the buzzer!
Elsewhere, Penn State didn't even qualify for the Big Ten tournament, but the Nittany Lions come back from 13 points down to beat 12th-ranked Wisconsin by 11, sending the Badgers into postseason having lost two of their last three. The NASCAR Cup Series, William Byron wins a pole for the Shiner's Children's 500. He'll start first tomorrow at Phoenix Raceway, and the green flag drops at 3.30 p.m. Eastern on FS1.
