Fox Sports Update. Geno Smith experienced his best years under Pete Carroll in Seattle. Now the two have a chance to run it back. Smith was officially introduced in Las Vegas today following his blockbuster trade from the Seahawks to the Raiders and expressed his appreciation for Carroll. I think there is unfinished business, and I think when people think about my story, Coach Carroll was a big part of that. He gave me an opportunity when not many people would have.
That was courtesy of the Raiders. Under Carroll in Seattle, Smith was named to two Pro Bowls and won the 2022 Comeback Player of the Year. Carroll discussed the stability that Smith brings to Las Vegas after the Raiders quarterback situation has been a revolving door since releasing Derek Carr following the 2022 season.

The Dodgers are looking to become the first repeat World Series champions since the Yankees three-peated from 1998 to 2000. And in the NHL, Greg Millen, a goalie who played for six teams over 14 seasons, tied Monday at the age of 67. After retiring from hockey, Millen became a broadcaster, going on to work as an analyst for Hockey Night in Canada and Sportsnet. Millen covered three Olympic Games, the World Cup of Hockey, and the Stanley Cup Final 12 times.
